Geeogree’s name looks strange so dark as opposed to the all white it normal is. Good to see that there is actual competition for the veterans jersey though.

I fell out of the top five, but that was pretty expected considering I participated for only one day.

Anyway, rooting for tgags to keep up this kind of pace and to win this TDV. Maybe I’ll score some more points and win some more jerseys before the month is up.

Is it me or are things starting to slow down again? I guess that's to be expected with school starting for most again and that crazy start of the month. I hope we can keep things moving along throughout the month, though.

I'm begging everyone to let me have my first red jersey in peace. One time thing so save whatever you had for the day and post it tomorrow for me, no point trying to catch up to 1600 when that can easily be spread over 2 different days for 2 red jerseys <3

dark mode : Oh, I mean.. idk. I guess you would know better than me, I never actually went to school. It I would assume things would be handled differently in different countries though, and it seems to me that, while they start around the same time, there's a few days difference between different schools in different parts of the country start.

But again, that's all just my observation and I can't speak from personal experience. Y'all'd know better than I would.

m0ssb3rg935 : Schools here in the youth have already gone back to school, and most colleges go back sometime this week, so I’m sure most of us southerners have been pretty busy the last few days. I know the north doesn’t go back for at least another week for high schools and few more weeks for colleges,

Still, the pace is always much higher at the beginning, and there’s still a good amount of competition, as opposed to the last few competitions.

Barathemos : yeah, I'm actually really liking it. It's such a difference from what I've had for years now that I'm kind of tempted to really try for the banner to have it all next month. I doubt David will let me change my color permanently because he made this grey banner specifically for the competition. Still, it would be fun to have grey as a color permanently. I really like it.

Also, when I first logged in for the day my name was white again and I panicked for a moment that I lost the banner for not scoring any points.... and then it showed up properly and everything is right with the world

geeogree : I'm somewhat in the same boat. Minuano changed my gender a couple times and the N/A Global gray color looks really cool. I documented it in the Underground Off-Topic thread I think. Way better than the poopy brown, unless if it's with the jerseys I have today. Makes the brown look ... less poopy.

I've done a lot of posting back in the day, but I don't think I've ever had such a big week aa this one. I made 691 posts in the first 7 days of the year. I was so close to having a 100 average for a week.

God, activity is surely returning. I've been off the site for the last 12 hours, and I needed to go all the way back to the 3rd page in New Posts to check everything posted after I logged off yesterday to go to sleep.

It's amazing to see that, even with "regular" activity, getting italics doesn't grant a top 5 in Blue, 3k words may not be enough for a top 5 in Yellow... Only one month ago we were struggling to get 100 posts in a full week, yet we've already had several instances of a single user scoring 100+ posts this month.

Let's see how activity goes during this second week of the competition. If you can somehow maintain it (yes, you, because I'm doing mostly nothing thanks to real life ) we will enter the second half of the month with high hopes.

Barathemos : If you look closely, you can actually see zanderlex taking a bite out of tgags as tgags passes him. That's when the chase began. zanderlex got a taste of blood and now he's focused on getting the rest of that meat.

The Tour de Vizzed is kind of a morbid competition when you think about it.
