The most active TdV day in 4 1/2 years!

I'm glad the overall results are still close. Any of those top 3 people have a good chance of winning still. And their lead isn't so huge that someone couldn't start now and make a good shot of catching up.

I'm not too hopeful of scoring many more points though. Don't really have the time for it and with how crazy everyone has been I don't see myself putting in the effort to get 1 or 2 points

I love seeing this again, however, I can't make 100 posts a day. I just don't have it in me anymore.

thing1 : I'm the same way as well, I don't have it in me to post 100 post in a single day, I've only done that once and that was back in July 2013, you know, back in my early years.

Mostly I have more of a words over Posts ratio. This is why I have a higher strength towards the Yellow jersey more than the Blue jersey, and the reason why I won 2 Yellow jerseys in my TdV history.

geeogree : well, basically to sum it all up, no one else other than the Top 3 has a shot to win it this month, and we're only 5 days in, unless those 3 falls out of existence.

thing1 : lol, my first 2 years of TDV had lots of days with more than 1000 posts.

IgorBird122 : I don't think other have NO chance. It would be extremely hard to do but if each person missed 1 day and someone starting now got a solid score each of those 3 days the lead would disappear. Not likely but this early it is still possible.

IgorBird122 : Me, Lexatom, and zanderlex (or "dark mode") have a pretty decent lead right now, but that doesn't mean much. It's super early on. Someone could easily come in and destroy us all. I remember I had a pretty commanding lead one TdV, and I held the rainbow banner for the first 22 days. I fell apart at the end and actually finished in third.

tgags123 : Agreed, remember Pacman in Summer 2014, he didn't even start competing until the halfway point and he won the whole thing.

IgorBird122 : Yeah, I remember that one. That's the only time I ever actually finished with the yellow overall jersey. It looked REALLY weird on me.

Looks like I've managed to get my name on fire. I think I've only ever done that one other time a few years back. It was probably during a TDV in 2013 or 2014.

I don't see myself seriously competing in this TDV, but the surge in activity is definitely spurring me to be more active than usual, which is nice.

IgorBird122 : I specifically remember that very clearly because that was the summer he took me down. I had been actively competing that entire month and worked hard to take tgags down the entire month and then suddenly out of nowhere, pacman1755 swoops in for the victory. I mean just check out the graph for the Summer 2014 TdV


Man that was epic. I kinda just took the final day off. He worked harder than anyone I've ever seen to get into 1st and all I could do was applaud that. Plus the momentum he had going, I was too exhausted to go that final round with him lol.

Davideo7 : You can see where I just gave up trying to win, and just settled for yellow. I got tired of trying to chase you down.

Davideo7 : It wasn't really much of a lost cause though, because you won the following TdV (Autumn 2014)

geeogree : Just couldn't let me steal green from you, could you? I was hoping you wouldn't notice until it was too late.

thing1 : it's my best chance at getting 5 points. Plus I'm enjoying what I'm doing.

geeogree : Then it's all yours. I was honestly just trying to pass Sacred in CP, and then I realized how close I was to passing you, so I started sampling ps4 songs, and rating them. Found some interesting stuff actually, and I'm not even really that big of a fan of video game music.

I remember the TDV where it was Igor and myself competing. I didn't win but I don't think i even started competing until the 2nd week.

All it takes is one extra person to go all out every now and then and there will be a 4th person in the running. Heck, if you go all out, 20-28 points in one day can go a very long way.

Oh hey look, I have the rainbow banner now. That's pretty cool I suppose. Also, this is the first time in a long while I've had the red jersey by itself. Usually when I get red, I get the yellow jersey with it as well.

woot! I got some points!

Also, I'm kind of happy someone that isn't staff is holding the rainbow banner. Seems like it has been a while since that happened.
