I guess the TdV team competition isn't happening this time around?

It's kind of weird because yesterday it felt like we were super active with a couple posts a minute and so many people posting.

But then you think that in the past there were days with 3 times as many posts. IDK if some people can handle that many anymore lol. Maybe we can reach it again.

IgorBird122 : Well it seems like the fire department already handled it, because all the fire is gone now.

zanderlex : The problem is, there are people making a lot of posts, but not a lot of people posting. In other words, it's top-heavy. Me, you, yoshi, Lexatom, and a hanful of others are posting a lot, but we still only have like 15-20 members that are really active. In the past there would be 100 or more active members at a time, so even if they didn't all make 75+ posts, they made more total posts than the few of us are able to make.

I don't know where or how I found it in myself to make 44 posts in a day (that's quite a bit for me), but somehow I managed. Admittedly, it is nice to see some activity on the boards again, even if it is coming from a select handful of people. 

I got the SWEEEEEP, let's go! Really didn't expect to end the day with four jerseys. I initially was only going to try for yellow and red by writing two reviews. Then I noticed green was attainable, so I started going after that. Posting is a CP action, so I started posting, and somehow ended up with the blue jersey as well.

Anyway, this is the first time I've ever gotten all four jerseys on the same day, so I'm pretty proud of myself. Doubt it will ever happen again lol.

tgags123 : Congrats on the sweep, maybe you can also come up with a 6k word guide, and win them all again.

Today, I will be participating for the yellow and the blue (and it seems the green along with it) however, it looks like Lex will be winning the red.

Barathemos : Lmao yeah Lex can have the yellow and red with that review today, I'm just grateful he waited and let me win them yesterday.

LMAO that guide literally took me all day to make and there were a lot of times where I didn't want to work on it any further but I made myself do it anyway. Probably won't be doing something like that again for a while. Best of luck to you, Bara, I don't get to see you competing that often so I'm interested to see how this plays out. I'm going to be competing today (I think that's fairly obvious by now). We'll see how today plays out to see if I'll do a bunch more stuff later on in the day. 

For anyone concerned or wondering, I won't be competing today as my test posts and threads shouldn't throw off the numbers.

tgags123 : As long as I don't give up on maintaining the current momentum I have, and as long as I stay connected with the community and staff, I think the activity will maintain until summer. It's in the hands of the staff and I but since we have a great team, I think we'll be able to keep this place active for quite a while

tgags123 grabs all 4 Jerseys and a 7-pointer.

We've seen almost more 4 jersey sweeps this year than in the last three TdVs with dead activity. Maybe it's just me, but I'd swear logic doesn't work this way...

Feels very refreshing to see the TdV active like this again. December did look promising with those few times we had nearly 200 posts in a single day, but I'd never expect we'd be here now. If someone wants to compete for any jersey this month, they'll have to put in a lot of work and effort.

Next week should come the first attempts of mine to score points in Red and Green, once my staff role gets going for the year. I don't think it'll be enough for jerseys if we keep this up, but I'd prefer to lose a jersey because everybody is gaining insane amounts of CP rather than getting a 7 pointer by accident.

EX Palen : There were days last year where we couldn't even reach 10 posts in a day, so this is amazing, even if we cant reach the level of posting that we had in like 2013 and 2014.


If I didn't have so much work to do with my jobs and school I would have been trying hard but for now I'm going to try to average 50 posts a day and a couple thousand words for as long as I can and see where that takes me.

I have decided not to go for the win this TdV. However, I will be aiming for the Red Jersey, best of luck to everyone.

It isn't even 3 PM server time yet, and the blue, red, and green jerseys are pretty much locked down already lol. Barathemos already has over 100 posts and is on fire in his pursuit for blue, Lexatom has more than 5 times as much CP as anyone else for red, and David somehow has over 1000 CP actions for green, which I think is impossible for any regular user to even come close to. Only jersey still up for grabs is yellow.
