IgorBird122 : That's one of the reasons that non-staff users have a significant disadvantage, as discussed earlier in this thread. I can't do much in the Retro Game Room other than rating things and adding screenshots. I added a few videos, but I never even got the CP from it. Doesn't matter though, I'm still going to win anyway.

It's definitely possible for non staff to win but the green jersey is a tough one. I'm noticing first hand today how much of an advantage I really have for that one. I won't go for green after today unless I'm posting for it because I want the competition to be fun.

tgags123 : Basically for non-staff to win you need to be able to consistently get points in the other 3 jerseys. That's something I'll never be able to do since yellow's basically the bane of my existence. The only reason I'm doing as well as I am today in that jersey is due to all the posts I've made.

gamerforlifeforever : Yeah agreed. The limits for some actions are ridiculously small (20 screenshot ratings for elites) and posting shouldn't have a limit. Maybe for TdV some actions like rating things can get double the amount of allowed actions for non staff?

Furret : I'd argue that Elites should be given the ability to edit game pages and add content and stuff. Almost all of them are former staff, that used to have that ability. Anyone that isn't trustworthy enough to have those powers shouldn't be an Elite in the first place in my opinion. Also would result in more complete game pages. I don't really see any downside to it.

Furret : I'll compete when I've got time. I was busy all of Monday and couldn't get ANY points. Last night I had some free time so I posted a bit and did some RGR stuff and song rating in order to get a few points.

I have no intention of doing much more than that. Sure if someone takes the grey banner I'll see if I can take it back but I'm not going to actively compete for it. I don't have the energy.

Furret : Do the other globals have admin powers in the Video Game Music Room? I know I do, but because I'm still technically the VGMR manager. You can rack up actions from adding song information pretty good. I mean an action for putting in the name, the artist, and for every keyword you add to each individual track. There's no reason I couldn't get 5 or so actions per track if I rate them other than the fact that I'm mediocre at the job.
