This is just something to get some activity for this site and a little something that I wanted to do since the game’s release.

Welcome to my tournament. I am the host Becerra, popolop, or how many know me as Pop or fake (insert username). I am proud to announce this Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. The goal is to have at least 8 or 16 participants to battle it out and survive this illustrious competition with a prize of such a gem of any kind (PayPal, Cash app, gift card, etc) As it may be common sense there must be rules to limit such an event to minimize cheating or unfair play against one another. As the rules state:

1) The matches will be based on a Battlefield as they are only allowed in this tournament, to make sure no hazards or anything that would give a player an unfair advantage.

2) No use of profanity or insults during of this tournament. You can use your mic but don’t be a bad sport, it’ll result in a DQ. Don’t be so daft about it

3) The tournament will be based on a 3 stock match with a 7 minute time limit.

4) No use of items are allowed. Even the final smash will not be allowed in this tournament

5) Stage morphs are allowed. This is to give the players a chance to play on their favorite stages. It’ll be and interval of 3 minutes. (This is optional)

6) The defeated players of each round will go to a second bracket. This is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT, so once you hit your second loss you’re out.

7) Winner of loser bracket will face the winner of the main bracket. This is the chance of redemption for the loser to regain his image

8) Have some verification that both parties played an official match with some kind of video or screenshot. We’re not here to manage cheaters or children (ones who cry because one player keeps spamming the same move)

9) Don’t spam moves excessively. Simple, like I’ll be lenient and trust participants but don’t use like the same move or combos 5000000 times please. If you got any questions come talk to Pop or the supporters (insert supporters)

10) Most important rule. NO KIRBY ALLOWED (joking)

11) The winner’s bracket will be played within a week’s limit within the first two rounds. After that the semis and finals will be played by a 3 day limit due to time constraints. (If you don’t have the time let me know and we can work out a solution.)

12) It’ll be a best 2 out of 3 matches with the winner advancing and loser going to second bracket. If second loss they are eliminated
For anyone who doesn’t have online functionality please contact me on my discord username (Tobi Akatsuki#0173) or just reply in this thread and we can work something out. I have six open slots on my family plan membership which I will grant permission to borrow for the duration of the tournament until its end (5000 Viz per slot). Also again, I trust most if not all that you won’t cheat. It’s pretty simple the set rules but looking through the online settings everything seems basic enough to understand. Since I’m the host no reason for me to Seto Kaiba this tournament and enter myself (I could just to ruin a very few) but uhm, ya.

REGISTRATION BEGINS NOW UNTIL (TBA) It’ll be extended if the requirement (8 minimum. 16 max) isn’t met. This is a first come first serve until all spots are filled. One more thing, have fun with the game and respect your opponents. The prizes are as followed
1st place: $50
2nd place: $25
3rd place (the finalist in the loser bracket) $20
