With this post, I've officially hit 100 posts for the day, which qualifies me for the Official Post Spree syndrome. I'll provide some proof in an edit to this post after I post this thread since this thread is post number 100.

It's been a long time since anyone has done this, I imagine. I honestly thought I was going to run out of open threads to post in! But I managed, and I'm feeling really good. Go me!

That's not what I'm making this thread about, though. I want to give you guys a challenge.

Let the mods settle in on their forums, and perhaps we're going to be opening up a few threads that had died due to inactivity. I'm challenging someone to beat my 100 posts in a day! It's not too bad.

If you can do that, I'll give you some Viz. Probably 25,000 (limited time offer, I need *some* Viz lol). Or, when I open up my layout shop (and maybe theme creator shop, I'm still debating if I should do that, and how much more I should practice) I'll give you one of those for no charge (not limited time!)

I know it's probably a lot to take in, but it's definitely possible. A good amount of my 100 posts were at least 50+ words and I really only did it within a 12 hour span.

Congrats great gramps! I saw! I know got it before but eh...that was last year or in 2013 or 2014. I dunno if I can do it again I will have to wait and see on that who knows?

Lexatom : It's a posting competition. Even if we consider the TDV next month, blue isn't something that's near as skewed to the higher ranks. Unless I'm missing something.

Activity is activity and we're mods partly for the reason of promoting it. Post!

I'm gonna try to do this. It's been a long time since the last time that I did it and seeing as how we had a stretch of 24 hours with like 250 posts as a whole, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to pull off after a while.

Once mods get powers, there's lots of threads that can be opened. Not bringing back old threads, but discussions that were basically unfairly closed because of going months with no activity.

Mods have no power to mod the forums though and all hell may break loose! If someone spams what happens? Can you guys still issue bans at least? Maybe you should save your energy for TDV, you may run out of steam or get bored otherwise. Up to you, I won't be participating though in 100 posts a day. 20 is doable for me, 30 is probably my max. 100 is just too much.

legacyme3 : Maybe that should be a feature, reach OPS syndrome and automatically get 100,000 vizzes deposited into your account! That feat is rarely achieved and I think it should be rewarded. The trick is to get OPS without getting banned in the process, if you can do that congrats.

JigSaw : It shouldn't be too much of an issue. We should be getting our forums very shortly, and for the time being, I actually still have my perms from before the team reset. So I'll be able to keep an eye on at least half of the site.

We don't have ban perms, I don't think. At most, locals have ban power for specific forums, but not site-wide. Still, we should be seeing global promotions very soon.

AeroStar : Nintendo requested that we pull their intellectual property from the Retro Game Room a while back. Most of us were pretty upset about it, but in hindsight, they were far more diplomatic with us than they were with a number of other websites recently. They could've easily pulled us down entirely if they wanted, but that's not what they were aiming for.

With that in mind, there might be less of a selection in the Retro Game Room now, but that doesn't have to dictate forum activity. True enough, the game room attracted some posters to the board, but the forums have largely worked independently of the game room. So we're trying to get forum activity up again like it was before Vizzed ever had emulation.

This sounds like fun. With all the time off I'll have during the holidays I might be able to manage the 100. I doubt I can sit around long enough for 250 with family around but I might try for 100.

And if nothing else it should help get posting going a bit more for everyone.

I doubt I'll be able to get 100 in a day, but I have been posting more so I'm at least more active. Though that's kinda the idea behind a mod, they kinda need to be active

I think I will do this next week, I'll have more time. I have never had the official posting spree syndrome, but it's on my to do list. I think it will be a good way to help kick off this resurrection of vizzed. 

I'll definitely participate whenever we get a lot of these threads opened up.

I'm really not one to post a lot, but I can see if I have the motivation during the weekends to do this

I don't know if I have the energy to go 100+ but I'm going to try and get italics for a couple days the next two weeks or so to get back into posting.

Maybe if it's TdV I'll go for 100+ at some point
