It doesn't have to be your favorite subject or anything, just whatever class you took that you fondly remember. Whether it be because of the teacher or perhaps you are interested in what you got to do in that class. My favorite class has been my Criminal Justice class. Not only has it been my elective focus, but I have taken it every year of high school, and the teacher there is really cool. Me and my friends were playing Cards Against Humanity once, and he walked by and said he loved that game, haha. When we went on our field trip a couple months ago, we went to Dick's Last Resort for lunch, where they make inappropriate jokes at your expense, which is the charm of the restraunt. It's so great to have a teacher who is very chill like that.

I will always remember fondly two of the classes I took during my last years at school: Chemistry and Technology (something like engineering but more applied to calculations).

I was very good at these two because I loved the subjects, I always liked to apply formulas here and there and discover new fun things. But above all, I liked the classes because of our teacher, which I think I've already spoken off in the past.

Back then, he was a "bodybuilder with a brain", like he described himself (training both physically and mentally to be as strong as intelligent). He had an imposing figure, so nobody dared to misbehave and thus classes were very calm with him around. He was also easygoing, as long as you weren't a troublemaker or a bad student, and he tended to treat poorly those who didn't give a damn about the class as a means to encourage them. This last fact of his was probably what could unbalance the great atmosphere present during his classes.

His best trait were the exams. He could easily create one in a couple hours, because he never used any textbook in his classes, he had everything in his head (except hair, LMAO). The day after the exam, he publicly showed us the resolution like if he was correcting some casual homework, and in the last minutes of the class, he showed us the exams from lowest to highest score.

I absolutely loved the despair of the first names and those who feared they could be below the cut, and once we passed the first quarter of the year he couldn't hide his big smile either. I loved the competition to be the last to be named, the thrill of seeing mostly everyone named before you were. That friendly competition was incredibly motivating, and it pushed me to get a perfect score in Technology in the Tests to Access University.

I've seen him a few times in TV since then, due to our school closing up a few years ago he's continued teaching but on a whole new level, even editing books. My mother went to see one of his conferences so she could get a signed book for me and my cousin, who had also been a student of his almost a decade earlier than me. He's quitted bodybuilding because it was excessive, but he still retains his imposing figure, but with a much more easygoing look now that he doesn't have to teach salty kids xD

In my 2nd college I loved taking different health, recreation, and sports classes with this one professor because he was so much fun.

I also really loved my agriculture classes throughout high school.

My Critical Thinking class that I just took this passing semester was probably one of the more interesting classes I've taken.

On one hand, it just felt like 10th grade English. And English classes are very easy for me. But on the other, I do realize that the class really *does* teach you to think deeper and to read between the lines in text, which is something that I actually consider to be a valuable skill of mine. I'd say this is my best class so far since I actually felt like I learned something meaningful.

That's funny you should mention Criminal Justice because I used to love that class as well back when I was in my Senior year of high school. As a project, we had to bring in movies related to law and courtroom cases. Then, we had to write an essay about that movie and talk about how it related to justice. That was a lot of fun. I brought in the movie, "A Few Good Men" for my project. Someone even brought in a really great movie called, "Rules of Engagement". This class may or may not have been my favorite, but I seem to remember it the most fondly.

A class I will always remember is my Sociology class from my second semester of college.

I had been through a lot in my life to that point, and I fancied myself something of a scholar in the field of human nature and behavior. So I came into the class feeling prepared for everything, and for the most part, I was.

But I learned a lot of things that I didn't know, and ended the semester with the single greatest moment of my academic career.

I had already aced the course, I had a 99.7% heading into the final, largely because I did all the assignments, understood the course, and crushed the exams (to my chagrin, other classmates realized this, because professor often put the grades on the board from highest to lowest, and people would ask around to figure out who got the highest, and often, it was me).

Even if I completely skipped the final, I passed. I could literally have come in, scribbled, and probably got a better score than half the people in the class. But I actually wanted to take the final seriously, and give it the respect the class deserved.

The final question was a weird question. Up to this point, it was asking a lot of basic questions. Stuff everyone should have known, but ones many may not have, because half of them never opened the book until the night before. The final question asked us to apply the concepts we've learned to our own life, and talk about what we'd be taking from the class.

Now, I veered a little from the topic. I wrote about my life, how I arrived in California. How I struggled to adapt over the course of 20 years, and about the isolation I had faced everywhere I'd been. I wrote about how I essentially desocialized myself, in order to resocialize myself, and rebuild myself into something better, about facing my demons, and about becoming a confident, self-assured person, one who could accomplish anything, and would accomplish everything.

It was an extremely cathartic experience, and I felt everything just fell into place perfectly. I walked out of the exam room after shaking my professor's hand, not caring at all what my final score would end up being, because for the first time in my life, I left a class with knowledge I had been seeking for my entire life, and with purpose. I aced the exam, as it turns out, no shock, but the most important thing to come from that day was the realization that the educational system CAN work if you allow students to only take things that matter to them, that are tailored to their personal goals in life.

In high school the best class I took was French, without a doubt. I took it for six years, from 7th grade all the way until 12th grade. Since very few students took French compared to Spanish, there were only two French teachers in my school district - one for 7th and 8th grade, and one for 9th through 12th grade. The French teacher for 7th and 8th grade was cool, but my teacher 9th through 12th grade was my favorite teacher I've ever had. I had a ton of fun in her class, especially senior year.

As far as college goes, the best class I've taken so far has probably been a Health and Wellness class called Stress Management. It was only a 2-credit class, and I took it last semester in addition to 4 4-credit classes. I only took it because I figured it would be an easy way to fulfill my "oral communication" gen ed requirement, but I actually ended up really enjoying the class. The professor was super nice, and the material actually had real-world application.

Performing Arts. For those who don't know its a mixture of drama, singing, dancing and acting all in one. I got to experience a lot of thins and I got to do many outside performances which was really fun. I wanted to become and actress but....because of my health I had to change that and I can understand why so its a good thing I did so. But I am forever in debt for the teachers I had back then to allow me to do performing arts despite how my health tried to back me down from it. I got out with As and Bs when I finished.

My Latin class in High School. I loved the subject first of all but I loved our teacher as well. She would always be down to talk and during the times when I stayed behind to help clean up at the end of the day we got quite close. She is one of those people who can passionately talk about their hobbies and interests and then the next second they're passionately listening to you talking about yours. Great sense of humor as well.

She was one of the few people I actually went to when I was going through some rough times and the last time I cried it was when I was talking with her. This was all after hours too so she didn't even get payed to be my counselor or whatever, she helped me because she cared. Recently ran into her when I was getting groceries and we had a looong talk in front of the vegetable isle haha. Told her how much I appreciated her help and her friendship and it was just great seeing her again. Planning to meet up with her in the near future once my exams are over and I hopefully passed all of them (doubtful though ).

I remember having a certain class, when I was enrolled at an online school. I actually did most of the class in one day, because it was really interesting. For the life of me though, I can't remember what it was.

Some kind of non US centric History class or something. I guess I didn't learn a lot, since I can't even recall the subject.
