EX Palen : I was close on gaining a 7-pointer yesterday, but I was pretty burned out after 9 posts yesterday.

Well, comes to terms on the remainder of the month, the only things that can change within today or tomorrow is the Blue Jersey (the winner could either be me or Thing), the Red Jersey (the winner could either be EX or No), the White Banner (the winner could be anyone still), and the Rainbow Banner (the winner could either be me or EX).
Everything else has been clinched. I clinched the Yellow Jersey, No clinched the Green Jersey, and Thing clinched the Gray Banner.

So yeah, it basically all comes down to today (and tomorrow if all the Leaders didn't do too good today), going to quite an interesting final 2 days.

Last day of competition!

Well, it all comes down to the last day on who will end up winning this month's TdV. Although I have already won both Yellow and Blue Jerseys, No has already won Green Jersey, and Thing has already won the Gray Banner, but the Red Jersey, White Banner, and Rainbow Banner all comes down to today.

EX Palen : Well, it's between you and me today, and with me being up by only 2 points, one of us will end up walking out this month claiming our 2nd TdV win today, I know your main focus will be towards Red & Green and my main focus will be towards Yellow and Blue.


So basically, this will be a big day to look at, because this final day can depend on how this whole TdV played out, like if I end up slacking today, EX wins, and if EX ends up slacking, I win.

And who knows, this could be like one of those buzzer beaters.

Well, can't really complain about yesterday's earnings, I didn't feel well until the night and in the end the effort was totally worth it.

The only drawback is that today I didn't have any energy to spare, so I won't have any extra weapon ready to take down Igor. It will all come to my usual activity in Blue and Yellow, though I'll be pushing for something extra and secure the Red jersey as well as getting as close as I can to the leader in Green.

Igor has a big edge over me, like most other users, being able to stay around until the end of the day whereas I'll probably close down with 4-5 hours to go. I honestly don't see myself scoring more points than him today, though it will all depend if I manage a decent participation in Red and Green to make up for what can I lose in Yellow and Blue.

I'm going to give it my all to walk away with something to wear next month, be it a jersey or a banner (with or without a jersey). Walking away with nothing won't be a big deal, since I almost threw the towel when life started being busy in the first half of the month, so being here in the last day still fighting for something is already a big accomplishment.

I was moving all day yesterday, and just the last of what I had today. COngrats to everybody who got what they wanted.

IgorBird122 wins the Tour de Vizzed!

This Tour de Vizzed saw 3 different leaders but it was IgorBird122 that hold on to it the longest. At no point did IgorBird122 have a comfortable lead which made this TdV fun to follow since there was always someone creeping up on him. This TdV also welcomed 2 new users, VGK_fangirl and Foxtroter.

According to my calculations, if Igor didn't post that review, I'd have won by 1 point, maybe 2 if he had enough to place in Red. That would have been an incredible finish, but in the end the one who actually aimed for the win managed to take it home.

I'm so glad I managed to win Red. In the last 10 days of competition, I managed to recover a gap of 19 points against a user scoring very consistently and win the jersey by just a single point. I feared I wouldn't make it with Yuna and David having started the day very strong, but I got lucky with my sources and tools, and I could make the last bit of my staff role for the month to get up there between both of them and get the position I needed to clinch the jersey.

I'm out of any major goals for this competition. I've worn Yellow, Red, Fire (Yellow+Red) and of course I've worn Rainbow. I've also made the three spots of the podium once, so nothing else I can aim for. Winning Blue would be nice, but I'd need to step up my activity greatly and have nobody else actively participating if I wanted a slight chance, and getting Green alone would almost be impossible unless someone competed for Red.

Most probably I won't be participating actively in January, partly because real life should have taken a turn by then. I'll still be around, so I'll be able to reach my HoF goals. I mainly want that top spot for most Red jerseys, and I "only" need 11 more. I could also get past 1,5k total points and 100 jerseys, which would be two nice numbers.

IgorBird122 : Congratulations on winning. You really wanted this to happen, because you made a final push I couldn't replicate. I ultimately focused entirely on Red and discarded overburning me trying to get one last review done, but I almost snagged the win from you just by doing that lol

You know, this whole month, I wasn't really thinking about winning it this month, and I wasn't as wild as I was with the previous TdV that I won (Winter 2015), but I do got to admit, winning my 2nd TdV is quite amazing though. Also, since I started competed in TdV (since Summer 2013), I have managed to now win all 4 color jerseys, which makes me the 4th user to ever manage to win all 4 Jerseys over their lifetimes. Also, compare to the Fire Jersey (Yellow & Red Jerseys) that I won back in Winter 2015's TdV, I really like having the Black Jersey (Yellow & Blue Jerseys) a whole lot more, it seems to fit a whole lot better with the Rainbow Banner than the Fire one.


You know, it seems quite interesting that at the end of the last TdV (Winter 2018), no one has even thought that the next TdV winner is someone that wasn't even planning on returning to Vizzed ever again, but it happened, I returned on April Fool's Day and won my 2nd TdV nearly 4 months later.


Now the question is, wonder who will be winning it in the next TdV (Winter 2019), who knows, maybe a return user, maybe a new user, maybe someone that has been on a long time. It would be tough to call.


EX Palen : Thanks, and congrats on holding onto your Red Jersey, you always said since day 1 of the TdV that you want to walk out with the Red Jersey and you sure did. I knew it was going to be down to us two for the win, and when I made that review, it was like a Hail Mary, and went for it, and it end up working.

thing1 : I also have to congratulate you as well during the duration of the entire TdV, with your effort into that month's TdV, especially for the Blue Jersey, I got to admit, they have been points that I wasn't even sure if I'll even manage to even walk out with the Blue Jersey last month, because how much effort you put into the Blue Jersey. You were like the toughest opponent I had during the entire month, especially with our target with the Blue

no8120: Nice work on scoring the Green Jersey for the 3rd consecutive time, it's quite tough to manage to pull 3 Jersey wins in a row. How much you build your actions, you literately go from 0 to 100 in just the matter of hours which is amazing.

VGK_fangirl : Nice work on the White Banner, basically this is one of the easiest jerseys to get, especially the low activity as of late, basically sum it up, someone can end up winning the White Banner even on the last day of competition. But you, you held onto it nearly the entire month, nice work

It's confirmed, thing1 is an old man now.

For myself, I’d consider this a successful TDV. I posted more than I normally have been doing, and I won a jersey and I think a total of 8 points!

Obviously I hope to be more active and eventually remake friends here and help the site start rolling again, but a start is a start.
