Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Ick. This game is just...ick.
Assassin's Creed I really love this game!
PuLiRuLa (World) What is even happening in this game?
Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (Euro 980123) I find Mega Man to be the best character in a game. Just keep spamming the button that fires his arm cannon from a distance and you'll win.
Hong Kong 97 ...Am I the only who noticed that the Game Over screen is an ACTUAL dead body?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighters I actually really like this game! It's a decent fighting game, almost as good as my favorite fighting game, Rabbit!
PaRappa the Rapper 'Ya just gotta BELIEVE!
Ghost in the Shell I love this game!
Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga Awwww, I loved playing this game on Vizzed! Too bad it's removed.
Go Go! Mile Smile I remember playing this all the time. It was a big part of my childhood - along with at least half of the arcade games on here.

Neverending Nightmares

Review: Steam Game - Neverending Nightmares (Creepy...)
Once upon a time, in a world beyond Vizzed, there was a young girl, her name in the worlds barely known. The tiny girl was simply flipping from one world to another one day, when she came across the name Neverending Nightmares. Curious, she went to the information world and looked it up.  It was on that day the girl discovered how cool and mysterious the game was, but she was unable to play it, as it cost real money. The game stuck with her, though, forever tucked into a little corner of her huge brain, so that the dormant memories would be pulled out when something reminded her of it.  Two years later, the girl was in the world of Vizzed, where she had some Viz in her hand. There, in the bustling Vizzed Market, something vaguely familiar caught her eye. It was a game. She recognized the art style, as it was very unique. The girl racked her brain, sifting through her active, short-term memories, looking for any trace of why it was so familiar. Finally, she looked at the title. There, scrawled across the game, to make it look creepy, were the words Neverending Nightmares. The memories flooded her brain, and she smiled down at her Viz. She had just enough to buy the game. “Sara, you’re going to have a wonderful time.” She told herself. She bought the horror game, rushing to the gaming world, ready to play. This is my review of this game. Graphics – 7 The graphics are very unique. Everything looks like it’s hand-drawn, including the shadows, which adds to the tense atmosphere of this game. This is good, especially in a horror game like this one. It’s supposed to put the player on edge as they explore the halls of the game. The colors are mostly black-and-white, with the exception of a few colors, such as red (for blood or for a candle you can pick up in the game) or gold. This is also good. The different colors alerts to the player “hey, this thing over here is different, why don’t you go check it out? I... Read the rest of this Review
La Tale

Review: PC Game - LaTale (Wizards! Warriors! Card Masters! Lightning Dancers! Wait, What?)
Alright, we’re back again with (Just take a wild guess) another childhood game of mine. However, this one is different from most of the games I’ve reviewed on my account. Instead, this one is an online game, and where I got most of my online friends today. I started this game around April 2012, where I created a character called “Pollypolly” (Yes, for your info, that was the actual name.) after my Littlest Pet Shop parrot toy, Polly. I never got anywhere with her, and took a long hiatus from LaTale after that. Around December in the same year, I deleted her and started another character: a wizard called AwesomeTrinket, who was the first sighting of the famous username. I was instantly hooked with her, and to this day, I still have AwesomeTrinket, who’s level 170 and is an Elemental Master, working to become a Mage by doing her 4th Job quests. Why am I reviewing this game now, when I could have done it last year, you may ask? Around this time last year, I, once again, took a long hiatus from LaTale, and it was only recently that I just got back into it. While the community isn’t nearly as friendly as when I started playing, and the economy has suffered from serious inflation, the game in itself is actually still pretty good! Also: To answer your question about the title, a Lightning Dancer is a monster you’re going to have to fight (A lot) once you’re going to do your 4th Job quests. Graphics – 8 The graphics are ADORABLE.  It’s bright, colorful, and, at the same time, it’s soft and easy on the eyes, while still managing to be beautifully rainbow-like. I’ve never seen any graphics like the ones in LaTale. All of the designs for the monsters that I’ve fought in LaTale are original, and are nothing that I’ve ever seen before – at least for the first time I see them. After that, they’re all familiar because I’m playing these levels again and again. There a... Read the rest of this Review
Eggs of Steel - Charlie's Eggcellent Adventure

Review: Playstation Game - Eggs of Steel (Don't Fall!)
I’m finally back in action, baby! Today, we’re going to be reviewing a game I actually forgot existed, had I not suddenly found the disc for it! Once the nostalgia stopped overflowing into my brain, I began to play the game. This game was a big chunk of my childhood gaming memories. In fact, I bet I wouldn’t even have been a gamer, had it not been for this game, since I played it so much. However, I’ll still try and give an unbiased opinion about this game. Graphics – 5 Even for the time, the graphics are kind of meh. This game takes place in a factory, which, obviously, is going to have rusted gears and more. This means there’s going to be a lot of brown in the foreground and the background. The colors are a little bland, because, as I said, there’s a lot of brown in the game. However, that doesn’t mean there are other colors in the game. For example, Charlie himself is a mixture of yellow, red, and white. Another thing that relates to graphics is the cutscenes. Yes, there are cutscenes in this game, and, according to the North American box art, up to half an hour of cutscenes are in this game! As a little five year old girl who was impressed by the littlest things, the cutscene graphics were beautiful to me. But now that I’m older and only impressed by the things that really are impressive, I can just say that – OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS TERRIFYING I LIKEDTHIS AS A KID?! Yeah, while the graphics for the actual gameplay is decent, the cutscene graphics are kind of unsettling. I would have given the graphics a 7, but because I’m a little unnerved due to the cutscenes, I’m going to have to knock a few points off. Sound – 6 The music is actually pretty nice to listen to. The main tune is this jazz song that’s very soothing to listen to. Of course, that doesn’t mean that that’s the only song in the entire game. There is one level, I think it’s called “Slip... Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop

Review: DS Game - Cooking Mama 3: Shop and Chop (MORE COOKING! MORE SHOPPING!)
We’re back again with yet another childhood game! If you’re not yet, at the very least beginning to see a pattern with the games I review, they’re games that I grew up with that I frequently review. Anyway, I have all three of the main Cooking Mama series for the DS, along with two spin-offs: The original Cooking Mama, Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends, Cooking Mama 3: Shop and Chop, AKA this one, Cooking Mama World: Hobbies and Fun, and Gardening Mama. Don’t worry; I’ll eventually review all of these, including Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures when we can find a ROM for the game that doesn’t freeze up two minutes in, but for now, it’s just Cooking Mama 3. This one has to be my favorite by far, because there are so many recipes to make. Not only that, it’s even possible to go shopping and mix-and-match six different things to create up to at least 30 different recipes! With that said, let’s begin! Graphics – 8 This game was released in 2009, so it’s obvious that the graphics are pretty good. It’s amazing how we managed to jump to blocky, pixelated games to games that look like Cooking Mama 3. Anyway, the graphics are cute and colorful. When you finish cooking a recipe, like some shortcake, it shows you your masterpiece on the bottom screen, along with your score on the top. The food looks very realistic, and when you’re playing the minigames needed to cook said food, the graphics are cute and cartoon-like. The bright colors are easy on the eyes, like with PaRappa the Rapper. Sound – 5 There are a couple of different kinds of sound for this game: Voice acting, Music, and sound effects. There isn’t really that much music, so I’ll just sum it up as some nice background music that, within five minutes in, you don’t even process it in your brain and forget it within 10 seconds. As for the sound effects, there are quite a bunch in this game, as you’re doin... Read the rest of this Review
Tamagotchi

Review: Gameboy Game - Tamagotchi (-Insert joke about Tomodachi Life here-)
Final Review of my review-a-thon. (I wanted to go through the whole week, but my creative juices stopped flowing at this one)

This one might actually be one of my shorter reviews, as this is just a little Gameboy game about taking care of these cute little aliens called Tamagotchi. However, customary to my reviews, I'd like to talk about how Tamagotchi got started. This didn't start out as just a game for a Gameboy. In fact, the Gameboy game was inspired by the actual Tamagotchi!

You see, during the '90s, Japan released these little digital toys that you can put on a keychain, sort of like these little keychain souvenirs from Weeki Wachee that has your name written on some sand on a beach. When you turn the toy, the waves move. The Tamagotchi keychain toys were like that, only you can take care of a virtual alien instead of tilting the souvenir and watch waves move. Later this toy got released in America.

It EXPLODED in popularity and became a huge fad. They were so popular that it wasn't the norm to say anyone without the keychain toys! It also got so famous that the little Tamagotchis even got their own TV shows! One school even banned them because the students would fiddle with their Tamagotchi instead of learning.

Later that year, Bandai, the company who made the toys, released a game for the Gameboy of the Tamagotchi. But as I said before, they were just fads, so not many people ever owned or heard of the game. In fact, I myself knew a bit about the keychain toys, but didn't know this existed until I saw a ProJared video covering it. So now that I've played this game enough to know about it, I'll stop rambling and we'll begin!

Graphics - 5

The graphics are pretty average for the time. The Tamagotchi don't have that many animations, and the backgrounds are kind of bland and the same. If you don't feed/play with them, the Tamagotchi will constantly bounce around, occasionally poop, and, if you take g... Read the rest of this Review

Review: Arcade Game - PuLiRuLa (This. Is. WEIRD.)
Review three of my review-a-thon.

First off, I want to start this review by saying this: This might be one of the weirdest hidden games that I've ever had the honor of playing and reviewing. You'll see exactly why soon.

Second off: I can describe this game with three words: Weird and bizarre.

finally : ...This game was actually made by Taito. What's with all these big-name companies making hidden Japanese arcade games? With that, let's begin the review and delve into how truly odd this game is.

Graphics - 7

The graphics for the normal sprites, such as you and regular enemies, are fine. In fact, they're pretty cute, giving you a false impression that this is just your average beat-em-up game. However, that impression is quickly snatched and thrown out the window at full force when you get to the boss at world two, which is an ice stage. This boss has NOTHING to do with anything winter related.

If you've never played the game before/got that far, it's sort of this head with arms and legs, these horribly unsettling eyes, and a nose that could give Squidward a run for his money.  What's creepier about said nose is that it extends it and uses the nose to bounce around. If you asked for my opinion about what's the strangest thing about this boss, I wouldn't be able to decide.

Things are at the maximum "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" level at world three. Already, you're greeted with strange things such as a photo of a woman holding onto a pole and flapping around like a flag. Now, isn't that just a lovely sight, eh? I'm not even going to begin to describe the Japanese version of this stage. That you'll just have to find out for yourself and see what's there, because I refuse to talk about it.

Sound - 6

The sound is actually pretty good, which I myself wasn't expecting. It was apparently so good that it got released on a CD in Japan - or at least, that's what I heard. I can't real... Read the rest of this Review
Babysitting Mama

Review: Wii Game - Babysitting Mama (Please don't shake the baby!)
Unfortunately, for some odd reason, when I copy and paste this from my word processor (Even using "Paste in Plain Text" it always shows up in Times New Roman. So, this review will not be in my usual Comic Sans font. Apologies for that.

Review 2 of my review-a-thon.

I've had a great childhood. I had tons of MAME games to play, not to mention a DS filled with games, two original Playstations, two Dreamcasts, a Playstation 2, and a Wii.

As a little kid I was a big fan of the Cooking Mama series, so one day when I was around 7 or so, as a reward for completing a workbook (I'm homeschooled) Mom pulled out this adorable stuffed baby doll in a cardboard crib! I was ecstatic!

Of course, the best part was when I pulled out the baby, who I later named Lizzy, which is short for Leelu, I found a Wii game came with the doll! That game was obviously Babysitting Mama. I played the heck out of this game, so I know quite a bit about it.

Now that I'm a bit older, I can judge the game based on how good it really is, and not how much kid me loved it so much, like I would have if I were a year younger or so, so without further ado, let's begin!

Graphics - 7

I've gotta say, for a 2010 Wii game the graphics look pretty good. Mama is finally in 3D, so we can see that her classic red "headband" isn't actually a headband, but rather a handkerchief tied around her hair! I'm sure I wasn't the only kid who thought that Mama's handkerchief was a cute headband, right?

The game is bright and colorful so that it appeals to little kids, like what I was back when I first got this game. It takes place in Mama's house, where she has to care for up to at least six babies.

Sound - 5

The music is usually quiet and calming, as this game teaches kids about patience and responsibility, but there are some more exciting minigames that you can play, and those games have an equally exciting song that goes with them!

Daisu-Kiss (ver JAA)
06-06-16 03:28 PM
Review: Arcade Game - Daisu Kiss (Just your typical dating-visual novel-minigame arcade!)

Review 1 of my review-a-thon.

We're back again, this time with another childhood arcade game! This one is called Daisu Kiss. As you can probably tell from the title, it's one of those hidden Japan-only games. However, you'd be surprised to learn that this game was actually made by Konami! That's right, the same people who made Top Gun and a bunch of other classicals have made this game! Before you say, "Come on, Sara, stop pulling my leg, you might tear it off!" just have a look at the title screen. At the top, the words "Konami" are there.

This was made in 1996, making this year its 20th anniversary, and is a huge mashup of genres. Most of it is composed of minigames that you play. The theme is dating, and when you talk to the other NPCs, it's set in a visual novel style. Don't worry, if it sounds complicated, I'll explain it in Depth.

Also, to clear things up ahead of time, I've unofficially dubbed the characters you can play as, from left to right: Saki, Violetta, Musume, Ellie, Taro, Yutaka, Logan, and Edward, and, so that I don't constantly alternate, I'll just pretend that you can only play as Musume, who is my favorite character.

Graphics - 7

The graphics are actually really good, both in 1996 standards and in 2016 standards! When you talk to NPCs, the characters look really detailed, and they convey their expressions quite well! Some of them are even really cute!

However, while I think the graphics are adorable, I can just say right here that some of the character designs range from "odd" to just downright weird. Some characters look normal, I'll give it that.

I love playing as Musume. However, what I find interesting about her is that she has pink hair that's cut into a bobcut, along with these weird spiral glasses, the kind that hypnotists use. What I want to know is that how are you even able to see with those kind of glasses on? You can't see her eyes through the glasses, either, ... Read the rest of this Review
Go Go! Mile Smile

Review: Arcade Game - Go! Go! Mile Smile (Mazes are fun!)
"What's this?! Another childhood game?! Wow, Sara, you must have had a pretty great childhood!" Yes, I did. I'm glad most of the games I'm reviewing are hidden games that not many people have heard of, so I can bring attention to them.

This is a maze game, sort of like Pacman, except you leave a trace wherever you go, so unless you go back to the safe zone often, an enemy roaming around could find your trace (Which is directly attached to you) and kill you.

Graphics - 7

The graphics are very colorful. The maze for each round will be different than the last, and in each island where the mazes take place, it'll be in a different theme. For example, the first island is a beach themed island, so all the mazes resemble a beach (i.e. sand floor, water puddles, etc.)

I've been doing quite a few comparisions, and nothing looks the same as this, which is to be expected for most arcade games, unless two games are direct sequels/prequels to each other.

The title screen is also very colorful. It leaves a good impression on you that says, "This game is going to be absolutely great! I can feel it in my bones!" The fairy - who, for the sake of this review, will be called Ariel - flies across the title screen with incredibly smooth animation, which tells you, "Oh, goodie! This is even better than I first thought it would be!"

Sound - 6

There aren't many sound effects, so I won't waste any space, even just a paragraph, discussing them and just talk about the music - where there is quite a bit of it, unlike the sound effects.

Like many games I've reviewed before, the music is the same for each island, changing when you progress to a different one. The song and the island fit together quite well, like they're meant to be together, which is exactly what the music is supposed to be like in a game.

For example, island 2 is a circus-themed island, with clown enemies and everything else you can think of. So... Read the rest of this Review
Puckman Pockimon (set 1)

Review - Arcade Game: Puckman Pockimon (Pacman and Pikachu?)

We all love the classic games, like Pacman, and Pokemon, two entirely different games. But, have you ever wondered what it would be like if Pacman and Pokemon came together by probably just a man living in his mother's basement going by the name Genie? That thinking is what brought this game into existence. Oh, boy...

This game is obviously a ripoff of Pacman. Pacman and Pokemon in the same game? Sounds awesome, right? It does sound like bread and butter, believe me, I got so excited when I saw the title screen, but this game is nothing but Pacman with better graphics and the ability to play as Pikachu if you're the second player.

With that said, this game was actually released in the year 2000, the same year as a hidden diamond like Penguin Brothers! Unfortunately, that's the only way those two games are related. Enough yammering, though, let's just get this over with.

Graphics - 7

I have to admit, while everything else about the game is bad, the graphics aren't actually that bad of an eyesore. While the background of the maze is most of the time gray, the title screen is pretty colorful.

The title screen is Pacman - er, excuse me, Puckman - with Pikachu on his back. They're apparently running from the four classic Pacman ghosts, along with a shoddily drawn Caterpie and I think a Snorlax.

It's to be expected that a game, even a bootleg, to have at least halfway decent graphics by the time it's the year 2000. Graphics don't make a game good, however. You could have a game with shoddy graphics but it also has an amazing story (Like a certain game I won't mention but love)

There's also a really weird thing about the game that I should probably mention: After you clear a stage, during the time between loading the next stage, you always get a picture of a different Asian woman.

Out of everything that Genie could have picked, they picked photos of women. Why not use pictures of Pacman, or eve... Read the rest of this Review
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Review: DS Game - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (OBJECTION!)
Sooner or later, I knew I was going to be doing at least one of the Phoenix Wright games for a game review. After all, next to the Pokemon games, Phoenix Wright is both my favorite standalone games and series for the Nintendo DS. It's also made by Capcom, the same people who made the Mega Man and Street Fighter series. Due to this being a series where all the games are more or less the same, I'd probably only review one of the games, (With the exception of the two Miles Edgeworth games, they're different enough from the main series I could do one of them.) so this review would be like many reviews for every game in the main series combined into one.
Graphics - 10
The Nintendo DS was released around 2004, so of course, the graphics for most of the games that are released on it are going to be at least worth a 7, maybe even more if they were made recently before the 3DS basically replaced the DS. By recently, I mean the years 2011 and up.
However, the first game was released the same year as the Nintendo DS itself, so it's actually really surprising that a game this early could have such good graphics that are even better than Undertale. It's bright, colorful, and the backgrounds don't hurt my eyes, like some DS games I know but won't name any names. What I have noticed, though, is that because this is a visual novel, the NPCs aren't really sometimes part of the background itself, like adventure games. I'm not complaining, though. I've seen this happens many times with visual novels, I think this might have set the standards for the genre.
Sound - 8
Before I discovered Undertale, I thought that the music for the Phoenix Wright series was the best music that a game could have. Of course, now I know better, but still. When I first discovered this game, it was around 2014. Back then, the only kind of music I was impressed by was Vocaloid music.
If the music for this game was enough to impress 2014 me, that says a lot. I loved it so... Read the rest of this Review

Game Review: Playstation Game - Ghost in the Shell (Fight the Terrorists!)
On December the 24th, 2015, midnight, my Dad and I were bored. I eyed our Playstation 1.  I suggested to Dad we play some. We went sifting through our games, when I found a game I had never seen before. It appeared to be a bootleg, it was a blank disc with the words “Ghost on the Shell” written on it. It sparked my curiosity, so we popped it in the console and started it up. On that day, Ghost in the Shell became a very well loved game. Enough about how I discovered this game! This is a game for the original Playstation, and I guess that it originally came out in Japan, because the manga of the same name that this is based off of, also came out in Japan. It’s a simple mission game; you go through a bunch of levels, completing some objectives, before fighting a boss in each level. Graphics – 6 I’m being gentle on this game because it’s a Playstation 1 game. Back then, the graphics had to compete with the Nintendo 64, both of which were game consoles that usually had 3D games. Of course, there are games like PaRappa the Rapper that aren’t usually full 3D. The graphics actually remind me of Star Fox for the SNES. They both look polygonal, and the player for both games, coincidentally, both take place in a futuristic-looking ship of some sorts, where you have to do a bunch of things before fighting a boss. (Forgive me if my description for Star Fox is off, I’ve never played it before.) During the time that the Playstation came out, 3D games were a new thing. Everyone thought that this was a massive jump from the graphics on previous games, and to be honest, it was. When you compare the graphics for a game like this to a game on the NES like, say, Bubble Bobble, you’d obviously think that this game had the better graphics. Nowadays, we have games with almost hyperrealistic graphics like Grand Theft Auto V, or, if we’re really stretching it, Plague Inc. However, while the Playstation graphics are old, i... Review: Steam Game - Undertale (Ohhhh Yessss!)
About a week or two ago, I got Undertale! I owe a big thanks to a friend of mine, who was the one who gifted me the game on Steam. It’s a really fun game. I’ve played nonstop for quite a few days now, while recording myself playing, I think it was within the first half an hour of the game that I decided to do a review of the game. Mom suggested not to, since I didn’t know much of the game back then and I'd probably use false info, and she was right.  But now that I’ve gotten past the date with Papyrus (Those who flirted with him in the game should know what I mean) I believe I have enough info about the game to do a review about it that’s not as long as some of my others. With that said, let’s begin the review for a game that will Falcon Punch you in the feelings when you least expect it! Graphics – 9 The graphics are very retro; sort of like the NES generation of games, like, for example, Mega Man 3, or even the original Super Mario Brothers game, if you want to go really far back in time. While it is retro, it doesn’t stray from the fact that this is one of the best games in 2015 and 2016. The graphics give you this nostalgic feeling if you played NES games as a kid, or even a bunch of them now, since they’re on Vizzed! The graphics are very reminiscent of a game called Earthbound, which is actually the game that Toby Fox, creator of Undertale, was inspired by. When he made a hack of Earthbound, he got the idea for the game and a bunch of the songs in the game, like the ever-amazing Megalovania. Speaking of the soundtrack… Sound – 10 (Can I please give this one an 11?) Short version: The music will never be outdone by any other game in the history of games. Long version: The soundtrack is, by far, once of the best that I’ve ever heard. While it’s probably computer generated, it doesn’t feel like it is, and for each scene, the song that it comes with fits in perfectl... Read the rest of this Review

Review: Arcade Game - Space Invaders '95: Attack of the Lunar Loonies (Pew, Pew, Pew!)
Hey, it's the great AwesomeTrinket here! About a month ago, I went on a vacation to Florida. During that vacation, I wrote a review about this game. I just now found it on Microsoft Word and decided to post it here. Everything else, other than this paragraph, has not been edited. It’s been a while since I played this game, but I still remember it like I finished the last boss just now. I figured that I’d do a review of this game with cute graphics, lovely music, and fun bosses! Space Invaders was created by Taito, which was probably one of their first games and went on to create more and more games for the arcade, which includes Puzzle Bobble, and, actually, this game, Space Invaders ’95: Attack of the Lunar Loonies. Keep in mind that not only is this game a comparison to other arcade games out there, it’s a comparison to the game it’s a spinoff of, which is – of course – the original Space Invaders.P.S. to my hotel's internet connection: Stop crashing, you're interrupting this awesome MIDI piano version of Megalovania. Graphics – 10 The graphics for this game is a massive jump from the original Space Invaders that was released in 1978. Hard to believe that it’s been that long since the old time classic was released! The original was just a bunch of black-and-white blocks. It kind of takes a lot of imagination to make it all bright and colorful. This version of the game takes your imagination and puts it into the game. The colors are bright and cheerful, like what little kids playing Space Invaders would imagine. The background is also more creative than the original. The new background has planets, oceans, beaches, a world that’s made of food, and even more! Review: Playstation - PaRappa the Rapper (I Gotta Believe!)
Hello, everyone! It’s AwesomeTrinket once more, but today, instead of reviewing a game that’s part of my childhood (Like what I did wit hPenguin Brothers and Rabbit) instead, we’re reviewing a game that I just found out about, called PaRappa the Rapper! This is a rhythm game about rapping. Unfortunately, the Vizzed version of PaRappa the Rapper doesn’t have the full version of the game. After stage three or so, the game loops back to stage one over and over again; and it never gets to stage four.

However, through lots of magic and love (AKA tens of hundreds of hours Googling stuff left and right) I’ve finally figured out what the problem was. I was in easy mode the whole time! So, guys, you have to switch to normal mode if you want to play all six stages. But with that little tidbit, let’s begin!

Also, I'm submitting this in for English tomorrow in school. If you guys could give me some tips on how to improve, I'd be eternally grateful to you.

Graphics – 8

Oh, I love how original the graphics are! They’re so bright and cheery! I’ve never once seen an art style like PaRappa the Rapper! I’ve compared it to many other games on the original Playstation and it really stands out. Most Playstation games that I’ve looked at (Ghost in the Shell, LSD Dream Emulator, Clock Tower (NOT THE FIRST FEAR), etc.) are the same old 3D graphics, but not this game! However, this game is a fresh and new approach to the graphics when compared to the games I’ve looked at. It looks so advanced and original that it looks like that it belongs on the Playstation 3 instead of the original Playstation!

While I am constantly giving this game praise for thecolorful beauty and ease on the eyes that it is, I must criticize that I don’t like how all of the characters are as thin as paper. If everything ... Read the rest of this Review

Review: Arcade Game - Penguin Brothers (MEMORIES! AND TREASURES!)
PBG reference in the title aside, hi guys, it's AwesomeTrinket again! Today I'm writing a review about a childhood game that I love, and I play it regularly on our arcade emulator. I would play it on Vizzed but I can't here. :/ But anyway, I decided to write a review about this game, because I regularly play it start to finish and can't stop. Almost every chance I get I play Penguin Brothers, so I know quite a lot about it!

Graphics - 10

Let me kick off this review with this: The graphics are really good. I've compared it to a lot of arcade games I play. The graphics vary a lot with the arcade, unlike with the Atari 2600 or the Philips CD-i (With the exception of Zelda's Adventure. So far, I've yet to see a live-action game for the CDI.)  This is one of the more unique graphics. It gives you an idea of it possibly being a 3D game if Subsino were to make a sequel.

Rabbit does look really good, but Penguin Brothers is honestly a little better. You can see a lot of details with the way its crafted. The shading is done well, the colors blend in together. Overall, I love the graphics. It's very pretty and easy on the eyes. Not really much to say here, other than it's simply lovely.

Sound – 8

It’s very nice. The sound will vary every "world" starting from world 1 and ending at the seeeecret round, hehehe. There are two things that I want to talk about: Sound effects and the music. Get ready for a somewhat long section for this.

The sound effects for when you throw a bomb sounds quite realistic, just not as loud. Think of a ketchup packet. Now grab both ends of the ketchup packet and twist it so a twist forms in the middle. Keep twisting it until it explodes. The bomb kind of sounds like that "POP!" noise when the ketchup packet explodes. ( NOTE: Don't really make a ketchup packet explode. The ketchup will get on walls and ceilings, basically everywhere.)

For every world, the background mu... Read the rest of this Review

Review - CDI Game - Link: The Faces of Evil (I'm crying a little bit...)
I tried to play this. I really tried to play this. BUT I CAN'T. It's so bad! It was so bad I had to quit playing and watch a video about it from PBG
(PeanutButterGamer) to learn enough about the game to write a review about it.If you want to watch yourself, then click the link I'm about to give you. Warning, there's a beeped out swear at the end along with a couple of small drug jokes in the middle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKOzqw83RVo

Now that I have that out, let's continue the review, shall we?

Graphics – 8

While nearly everything else about this game is bad, but not as bad as some games I know (Looking at you, E.T. for the Atari 2600) the graphics are actually pretty alright. The quality of the cutscenes for the CDI games are about the same for every game. I did a quick comparison of LTFOE with games like Hotel Mario and the sequel of this CDI game, and I can safely say that they all look the same. However, the cutscenes are horribly animated for the three titles for this series (Yes, there are actually three games for the LoZ CDI), like, Oh My Artamiel’s Sword did they even try to animate this well horrible.

If you’ve even been on YouTube for a little bit you should have heard of a thing called YouTube Poops, which was when people took bits from different memes and edited it together for laughs. The cutscenes from the CDI LoZ series were often used for these YouTube Poops because the cutscenes and the voice acting was animated so badly that you could easily use it for YouTube Poops and it would be twice as funny as it would without them. Which brings us to the next thing in this review…the sound.

Sound – 3.5

This was actually a balance between the voice acting and the music. The music is pretty good, especially Toyku Lighthouse, which you can see on the PBG video, and from his words, “It sounds like I’m getting ready to run a marathon or ... Read the rest of this Review

Review - Atari 2600 Game - E.T. (It really is as bad as they say it is...)
OK, where do I start on this game...? I know it's a time in gaming history, I know games won't be the same without this game, but I can't help but review this. (P.S. Someone give my mom a "Mom of the Year" trophy for saying that it's going be hard writing a review for this game because anyone who plays that game will get nothing out of it but a melted brain)

Graphics - 5

I would've been harsher on the graphics and probably have given it a 2 if I didn't remember that this was made back in the 1980s and that's the quality of game graphics back then, so don't think I actually like this game because I gave the graphics something higher than a 3, I'm just being nice because it's Atari.

Sound - 1

I actually checked to see if I could leave the sound a blank because there is literally little to no sound. I think I can sum up the sound in just two lines:

Intro music.

E.T. walking and falling into holes.

Enough said.

Addictiveness - 1

I made a mistake playing this. I wasted an hour of my life by playing this. Why would you think I want to play this again? I am so sorry if you're offended by me ranting about this game, but I'm really ticked that I decided to make a poor life choice and try to play this. It was a really bad idea.

Story - 4

I've never seen the E.T. movie(s?), so bare with me here as I write down what I understand about the story: E.T. is a little green pixelated alien that got sent down to Earth due to unknown reasons. He's supposed to find pieces of some alien technology that got scraped off the ship so that the ship can track the technology to get it and rescue E.T....and then he falls in holes a lot and then some dude picks him up and takes him to what I think is Rome set back in the ancient times.

How accurate was I there?

Review: Arcade Game - Rabbit
PLEASE keep in mind that this is my first time writing a review. I have a general idea on how to write a review from reading a bunch of reviews here. I've decided to make my first review about the game I've been playing about two hours every day - Rabbit! So, with that, let's begin!

Graphics - 10

Let's start off with this - I LOVE the graphics. It's so beautifully crafted in it's own perfect way that no one can copy this. And before you say that's just an opinion, that's actually half-fact, half opinion. Rabbit got ported to SEGA Saturn I think about a couple of years after the arcade version was made.

I've done lots of comparing and I can honestly say this: The graphics are kind of terrible and bland on the SEGA Saturn. I'm not even kidding! Just compare Wu-Ling or Yu-Lan with their arcade and SEGA Saturn versions and you'll see exactly what I mean. When I did a Google search for screenshots of Rabbit on both the arcade and the SEGA Saturn and I found this: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRQE5GSfUUtOhQJrI5N2kkbdnk1FzgMnmN6RiBfX9YS6kKm2CFk

Sound - 5

Honestly, I don't know what I expected for the sound. My arcade emulator that I used to play on could never emulate Rabbit's sound, so I just made up music and sound effects in my head as I played it. I might actually take footage of me playing Rabbit and edit it with my sound effects.

When I found out that Vizzed could emulate Rabbit's sound, I was very excited! Then I realized that's it's wildly off from what I imagined it to be.

Addictiveness - 6

I guess it's addicting, I've played it about 5900 times on my arcade emulator. It's just second place to Daisu Kiss (Which, for me, doesn't work on Vizzed, so you can't play it on here probably) which I played 5901 times.

Story - 1

...I'm pretty sure that there's no story to this. I kind of made up my own story about it, but I won't post it due to t... Read the rest of this Review
