Captain Bucky O' Hare, NES Game review
Yo guys, Its osazemccurley back after a few weeks with a brand new, actually slightly professional review! I hope you guys enjoy and by all means, PLAY THE GAME!!! ITS AMAZING!

Captain Bucky O’Hare was a saturday morning cartoon character from the 90s that I watched a few times online, mainly low resolution VHS rips from slightly shady websites  (I'm so smart!). He's a really weird looking green rabbit with monster sideburns. Him and his team (Made up of a a strange, extra armedduck, Blinky, a robot, some animal women, and a boy from earth wearing a... gorilla costume... Damn, I wish I were a kid in the 90s!) battling the evil toads. Thats is about as much as I watched, Thats just mainly the surface of it I think.

Enter this gem of a video game I played and finsihed just a few hours ago. Its a 2D platform game from Konami (Most games were sidescroller on the NES, as we all know. Just 1.44MHz of sheer POWER!!!). You play as Captain Bucky O’Hare and are tasked with rescuing your  friends from the evil toads because I guess they didn't have weapons at the time for SOME reason so they got kidnapped (Jeez its just an ongoing cliche from NES games isn't it?). Similar to Mega Man (And VERY simalar to Mega Man), you can select which stage to go to, but UNLIKE Mega Man, you actually have to beat some of the levels to gain access to new ones. (For the most part, You always have at least a few options) because you need the abilities from your friends (Who you rescue after each stage btw) to move through each level.

After you beat a level, your able to switch to the other team members instantly to take advantage of their abilities. Blinky and shoot things that destroy ice and hover, animal girl can shoot lasers from her head, I can't remember what gorilla guy does, and Bucky can jump extremely high (I'd hope a rabbit could do that).

Each stage is broken up into different sections and OH MAN its hard! You do ha... Read the rest of this Review

Windows 98 on NES?!?!?! Seems legit.
Ok, let's be honest for a second... THIS IS REDICULOUS!!! WINDOWS 98 ON FREANKING NES?!?!?! WHO WOULD FALL FOR THAT CRAP! JEEEEEEEZ... WELL LETS GET ON WITH THE USELESS REVIEW!!!

Overall-0.1
It sucks. It sucks it sucks it sucks it sucks it sucks its sucks it SUCKS!!! Every thing you click on is a static image. That's it. Very few "Programs" actually contain things you can do. Other than that it's stupid.

Graphics-8
It looks like an actual O.S. That's it. That's all the explanation you need, it LOOKS like an O.S. It doesn't FEEL like an O.S.

Sound-6
There actually IS a music maker in here, and you can actually make music with it. Its impossible to learn how to though because it's way to complicated, but its there.

Addictiveness-0
Its something you'll play once, and never use again. That's it.

Story: THERE IS NONE

Depth-7
There is actually quite a lot of things to LOOK at, not so much as play

Difficulty-10
Its all in Chinese. Have fun.

Sorry the review was so short, but I genuinely have nothing else to say about this game. It just sucks. Don't play it.

MegaManX5: TEXT BOX ADVENTURE
This game can be summed up in only a few words, but I'll go pretty deep into it. But the first thing I NEER to say it... Text. This game is full of it. The only thing worse than text interrupting the game every 5 seconds are pitfalls and spikes, and the text can sometimes cause you to mess up and fall INTO one of those deadly traps!!! So with all that summer up, le-[OSAZE OSAZE! I NOTICED YOU GOT A NEW PROFILE PIC! ITS REALLY NICE HOW LONG DID IT TAKE DID YOU SPEND TIME ON UT THERE ARE ENEMIES IN FRONT OF YOU INTERRUPT INTERRUPT INTERRUPT!!! X] Ok somebody needs to get her OUT of here... Jeez she makes PS1 Mega Man games TERRIBLE... Gosh. Anyway, with any further text boxes let's begin my views on Mega Man X5, and let's see if you'd want to play it as well.

SECTION 1- !!!THE GRAPHICS!!! -
So let's begin, the graphics... Are great. Every sprite and explosion are greatly suited to thier respective stages, and there is a ton of detail put into them. The boss charecters look really nice and there are even some 3D models and such, which are just great. All in all this game is great to look at, and it showcases some of the best spritework on the PS1, For this fact alone it really gives the game an edge. It manages to keep this great visuals and it rarely slows down. Look at this game for too long and you'll be crying rainbows.
-GRAPHICS SCORE: 9/9-

SECTION 2- !!!THE MUSIC!!! -
Ok, the sound in this game, is pretty dang good. Now it's not the best, and definetly can't compete against the likes of Mega Man 2, etcetera etcetera. Like I said in my X4 review, I love upbeat and high speed bitty/electro music, and to me this game hits the spot pretty well. The reason why I did'nt rate higher? Its pretty generic and bland at times. It just doesn't par up against the other games, and to me the other games had some great music (Except for the PS1 X games) If your going to play this, just don't expect to hear the best music of the X series, its good, bu... Mega Man X4, The real review
Oh yhea, I'm back. And its time for a TRUE review! Coming from the big guy himself, SNAZZ!!! So lets get right in- [OSAZE!!! DON'T MOVE!!! THERE ARE ENEMIES RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! X]... Wow even in my introductory paragraph she wants to interrupt us with text boxes. Anyway lets get right into it with Mega Man X4!

Graphics- Some of the best sprites on the PS1- 9/10
The graphics... Are AWESOME! There are booms and big enemies and awesome weapons and solid sprites and EVERYTHING! Seriously, the graphics are some of the best on the system, and theres no doubt about it. If you look at it long enough you'll be vomiting rainbows from how good the game looks.

Sound-And this is where it takes a big hit for me- 6/10
Ok, I don't really like the soundtrack in this game, mainly for the reason that it just sounds boring to me, I really only like high speed, super amazing, bit music/electro stuff. So for those reasons the sound isn't the high point in the game for me.

Addictiveness-Eh...- 2/10
Its not fun to play again once you beat it. You already know where everything is and theres nothing else much to do. But thats just my opinion, if you like it, more power to you.

Story-This is what killed the games for me, but its a good plot- 8/10
I don't generally care about the story in a game, in rare cases I do but for this game its... eh. They did a great job in TELLING the story, but it ruins the gameplay for me.

Depth-You collect chips and other valuables, its obvious- 8/10
Not going to delve very deep into this subject, I really don't care about collectibles in video games unless they provide a power boost or upgrade, which most of the items do in this game, enough said.

Difficulty-Not too hard, pretty average- 7/10
The game offers a balance between hard and easy, it varies. Overall its not that hard.

Overall: 7.4
The game has its flaws, but other than that, I say give it a try some time. It... Read the rest of this Review
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
04-16-16 04:12 PM
Probably my favorite game on the PS1
Ok ok ok, So I screwed up and plagiarized a walkthrough for this game, well today I'm not doing that, nor plagiarizing anybodies work, ever. again. So heres my thought on Castlevania: Symphony of the night. Lets look into a little backstory into the game, and see what made it such a huge hit

When Symphony of the Night came out it was unlike any Castlevania game that had been released. The closest Castlevania to Symphony in America would be Castlevania II. In Japan, another title, Vampire Killer, also shared elements of gameplay with the game (And it was released on PC!!! Would you believe that or WHAT?). All of that is to say that Symphony is a game that focuses heavily on exploration. The classic side-scrolling of Castlevania is still there, but with a emphasis on a Metroidy gameplay, Hence the name "Metroidvania" came to fruition!

Alucard  is able to explore the whole of the castle, looking for new powers and new ways to get through the various sections of the demon fortress. Since death is a real D-bag, he has fight his way through, gaining back his spells, bat powers, wolf powers, and everything else a Emo, Teenage vampire person would need.

Along with collecting powers and items to aid in his exploration, Alucard will also be collecting new weapons, armor, food, and more. Enemies will drop stuff, and others are hidden in the various places of the castle (You know, Pork in the wall! So delicious!!!). Depending on how you prefer to fight, there are swords, knives, objects you can throw in the faces of evil, power fists... a full, long, complex assortment for Alucard's armory. Just about any guy will find something they will want to use and use it on a regular basis.

Adding to the depth is also an RPG system. As Alucard fights his way through the castle, killing enemies, he'll gain levels which will increase his health, strength, magic, luck, and all the other stats you'd expect from an RPG. The RPG system adds just enough ... Read the rest of this Review

(Part 1: Getting started): When you first boot up the game you'll be presented with Doctor Lights computer screen, Its here that you'll waste some time seeing the story of Mega Man X, which is why I'm not going to say it here. Go ahead and skip it if you want, after that, you'll be SMASHED with some classic Super Nintendo graphics. Go ahead and change some options if you need to, or enter a password if you feel like cheating and entering one of the many cheat listed here on Vizzed for this game. Or grow some brass balls and select GAME START!

(Part 2: The AMAZING intro stage [Highway]): You'll be zapped to the stage as soon as Mega finishes up with the GAME START button. Make your way to the right and rapidly mash the shoot button (Y) to destroy that weird wheel thing that looks evil. Also not you can charge your shot by holding down why, so the buster has 4 levels of charge. 1. No charge 2. Small charge 3. Long charge 4. Ultimate death charge (Unlocked later in the game).  Keep moving to the right jumping over the pits and shooting the enemies, be wary of the enemies flying above you. Its here that you'll encounter your first Miniboss, a giant... bee? Just keep jumping and shooting him and soon he'll crash down. Make your way back up by wall jumping (Right+B up against a wall). Go ahead and head down if you took some damage and grab both of the health pickups, then make your way back up. Keep heading to the right and defeat the next bee boss, make you way back up and RIDE ON DA CARS!!!. Defeat all the car enemies in the area and then watch as the bi... Read the rest of this Guide

Castlevania:SOTN PS1 Walkthrough
x-> Table of Contents
Note. The sections are broken up by the main goal at that point in time.
Castlevania:SOTN has extremely non-linear gameplay. While there are some areas
that you must go to in order to get an item you need, you can, for the most
part, play the sections in any order that you want.
I label the sections as follows: Immediately follwing a section number
are the steps you need to take to reach the given goal. Then, between two
sections, there is usually a large body of text describing the exploration of
the area, what items there are to find, and instructions for moving towards
the next goal. This sounds more complex than it is; play the game with the
walkthrough, and you'll be fine.
