Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo Awesome! The greatest Castlevania is available ...but I can't buy it (even with 1200 vizz). How much is this epic title??
Akumajou Densetsu (english translation) Wow! HUGE upgrade in music and gameplay. Some changed enemies which surprised me and great art direction .The GREATEST NES Castlevania game !
Werewolf - The Last Warrior Nice music...plays..ok i guess, graphics just average though
Duck Tales 2 Agreed, however i felt this one was ALMOST as good, great control, nice level design and catchy tunes!
Metal Storm Love the pastel style of graphics! The animation is very slick and is backed up by razor sharp controls. Metalstorm is a gem!
Gimmick! The greatest NES game we never knew existed! Sunsoft should re-release this!
Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow Right up there with Symphony of the Night if youre into their "Metroidvania" style of play..I yearn for Super Castlevania V , Please Konami do this!

J. J. Squawkers

J.J.SQUAWKERS REVIEW: MAME
TITLE: J.J. SQUAWKERS SYTEM:MAME REVIEW BY :GOLGO 14

TWENTY,TWENTY FOUR HOURS AGO-O-O SIR ARTHUR LICKED A TOAD
There comes a time in every gamer's life when they come across a game that in some
way or another defies explanation. A game that visually,if you try to explain all the details at once to your friends they reply like a deer in headlights with responses like "Huh?" or"Say that again?". After much thought and epic meditation I have concluded that the easiest way to explain the experience that is JJ Squawkers is this...Ghosts n Goblins meets Woodstock 1979 (minus any flaming guitars).

GRAPHICS: 9/10 From a pure visual standpoint, JJ Squawkers is kaleidoscope of colors and surrealistic dreamscape imagery. You will be surprised what these artists have in store for you .In fact, the visual design is such a compelling reason to plow through this title that you might miss all the little details like one of my favorite weapons of all time..a deadly slinky shot with sticky red shoes that zips across any solid surface to dispatch enemies..EVERYONE LOVES A SLINKY!! What keeps the graphics from getting a perfect score is that even though the artwork and enemies are beautifully realized it's the main protagonist himself that seems..well uninspired.I mean JJ is simply a green bird with not much personality at all. There are no "close to an edge" flailing animations that helped shape personalities like Sonic the Hedgehog which in my opinion JJ badly needs to add that special something to make him a compelling hero. Regardless, JJ Squawkers remains a visual delight.

SOUND/MUSIC: 8/10 The music and sound effects have an experimental vibe happening and really add to the surrealistic nature of the graphic design. From tracks that sound like there are tiny birds trying to harmonize with the bass to almost trance like slower meditative tracks that when coupled with the more intense boss music help bring a generous variety of listening pleasure to ... Cyber Core

CYBERCORE TG-16 REVIEW
TITLE: CYBERCORE SYSTEM : TUBOGRAFX-16 REVIEW BY GOLGO 14
                                                           FUN AT ITS CORE
Cybercore is a vertically scrolling shooter consisting of 8 stages that although it doesn't quite reach the heights of Blazing Lazers or the Star Solider series in terms of greatness, it retains the spirit and fun of a quality shooter that should give shooter fans reason enough to jump on board and save the world by shooting.bugs.dead.

GRAPHICS: 6/10 Cybercore's world is populated with a great variety of insects and bugs that are nicely drawn with easily distinguishable features that set them apart as they flutter, dash and crawl at you .The colors and stages themselves are pretty average but in no way offend and do have some nice detail and variety sprinkled here and there like honeycomb like architecture that burrows through the ground showing one of the ways the bugs and insects have transformed our world into theirs or a lost ruin flooded over with sand and deadly scarabs, Cybercore in a way, reminds me of how I view Susan Boyle, average to look at, but boy can she sing!
SOUND/MUSIC: 8/10 What Cybercore lacks in appearance , it makes up for it with a really fun, intense soundtrack that drives the player onward .Every stage beats the player over the head with infectious melodies(just try not tapping you're foot to stage 3!!)and catchy synth compositions that truly shine. The sound effects are also excellent and capture each bug explosion like a splat on your windshield.
ADDICTIVENESS: 7/10 The moment to moment gameplay comes installed with responsive, easy to understand controls and mechanics that take the player through some addictive enemy attack patterns and big, nasty end boss battles. You play as (i'm not making this up) Rad Ralph who is part human and mechan... Read the rest of this Review

going to start to EXECUTING THEM ONE BY ONE.This leaves no time for negotiation.Golgo 14 ,you're country needs you

Hello Kitty World

REVIEW: HELLO KITTY WORLD!!
TITLE:HELLO KITTY WORLD  SYSTEM : NES  REVIEW BY: GOLGO 14

ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH FOR THIS GAME?

First, I have to be honest, I was ready to tear this game apart but what actually happened was quite surprising.I know Hello Kitty World must've been marketed for little girls, I get that, but sometimes a game comes along that surprises this old gamer with some fun gameplay and interesting qualities which I'm man enough to admit are present here...

GRAPHICS: 7/10  Hello Kitty World is not going to set the world on fire with its graphics, but it is certainly not an eyesore either. Each level has a sort of colorful charm to it.Bright, simple textures carry Hello Kitty World throughout it's playtime and leaves a pleasant impression.Taking some obvious, stylistic touches from  Super Mario such as, bonus stages that consist of those iconic warp pipes, which here, shoot balloons into the air drawing  you're eyes to a starry, dark blue sky, to giant deadly fish that spring out of the ocean if you get too close, Hello Kitty World does seem unoriginal in it's graphic design but it still works well here because of it's comforting familiarity.

SOUND/MUSIC: 6/10 The music in Hello Kitty World has a light, peppy sort of bounce to it  that intensifies when there is danger or when you power up, but my favorite, is a certain familiar "theme song" that plays when you encounter a miniboss reminding this gamer it is not safe to go swim! The sound effects  however, are kind of disappointing. At times, the game would sound like the Nintendo had a cold with strange, muffled growls that kind of grate to weird, tinny,( what I would assume are) wing flapping noises, the designers seemed to have dropped the ball in the sound department on this one
.

ADDICTIVENESS: 8/10  No, the "8" is not a t... Read the rest of this Review

ZELDA: A LINK BETWEEN 2 WORLDS REVIEW!!!
TITLE:ZELDA: A LINK BETWEEN TWO WORLDS SYSTEM:NINTENDO 3DS REVIEW BY: GOLGO 14

                  THE REMBRANDT OF CLASSIC ZELDAS

The creator of Zelda; Shingeru Miyamoto, was inspired by his childhood adventures that involved exploring caves and from this inspiration birthed what would be known as The Legend Of Zelda for the NES. As a gamer, you could feel the inspiration every step of the way, that constant sense of discovery and adventure , that type of experience only offered from the most talented of developers. To say that The Legend Of Zelda is "inspired" is really an understatement. The Legend Of Zelda is quite possibly one of the greatest games ever made.It layed the foundation of what a non linear action rpg should be and further cemented Nintendo's dominance in creating groundbreaking experiences . Then Zelda: The Adventure of Link was released and well... I traded it for Bionic Commando the same week.To me, this was not the Zelda I yearned for.The design was radically altered into something ..shall I say unappealing. It took everything I loved about Zelda, threw it in a blender with Dragon Warrior and Castlevania 2 and voila! bad tasting Zelda smoothie all around! The gameplay was so jarring, I was constantly taken out of the experience and eventually just got frustrated and gave up on it.It wasn't until the release of the Super Nintendo that my faith in Zelda returned. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was launched and once again I got the same feeling I got from The Legend of Zelda on NES and was overjoyed! In fact, it became my favorite Zelda of all time.I truly love all of the 3-D Zelda's but I feel more comfortable playing the classic overhead style. Many years passed and finally my prayers for another "Link to the Past" was answered and I gotta say, after spending many, many hours with Zelda: A Link Between Two Worlds the result is no less than pure genius.
