Final Fantasy VII (Re-translation) It does seem to stop at the end of Disc 1, which is what I was afraid of going in. So be forewarned (Unless there's something I don't know to try)
Suikoden II So...will definitely come back to this one
Tekken 3 I would venture to say that this is the best PS fighter; it's certainly one I have played the most
Legend of Dragoon, The Game freezes for me too after saving Shana...
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! easily the best of the series
Digimon Rumble Arena Want a bit of irony? The price was lowered for the PS item for a time right after the challenge ended and I didn't have enough to buy it back. Last night I finally did :)
Brave Fencer Musashi This one is leagues better than it's sequel, in my opinion
Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories The interesting thing about this game is that defense points mean literally nothing.
Legend of Dragoon, The I promised a friend I would try this one, now I can finally keep it
Pokemon Emerald - Catch \'em All! I'm going for a dual challenge: Fire-type solo but still catch everything. I am curious though, when do other fires start popping up?

Legend of Legaia

My Intro to RPG Gaming
Legend of Legaia was my first introduction to turn-based RPG's, and am I glad for that!
Created by Contrail in 1998 (makers of Wild Arms 2 and 3), it might have received the attention it deserved if not for its Square soft counterpart, Final Fantasy VII. It has a fairly unique battle style (that I know of) and, while it does follow a formula to an extent, it has left me wanting more from the first play. Naturally, since Final Fantasy is the most renowned of the genre for the system, there will be plenty of those comparisons.

Graphics: 9
While its polygons may look like Legos by today's standards, I daresay it easily rivals or even beats those of the Final Fantasy games for PSX. The camera shifts from a wide field-view, to a closer town detail, with battle cameras getting up close and personal. These three different cameras and designs give the player just the right amount of picture to see the whole world, or to watch as each Fire Blow sinks into your foe's gut. As for summons, no two act or look the same. Even though there are four of each element, no two are really even comparable. Not only that, but the only "glitch" you will find here (even on emulators) is if an arm is hidden by a nearby wall. Ooo...so glitched.

Sound: 7
Do you enjoy yelling? By Link? Because you will hear a lot of it. And yes, you read correctly: the "voice actor" for the first protagonist (notice I didn't say "main") is the voice of Link - so grab your Ocarina!
All seriousness, the yelling and the grunts with every hit and victory are the second most prominent sound here, and while it is nice hearing the attack names said three different ways each, the game loses points for the same thing; this is where the game most often freaks out. Whether disk or emulator, it is not uncommon for (Frost Breath, for instance) to freeze up and lag almost due to a sound barrier effect, where the noise of the blast is trying to catch up to the blast itself - by the t... Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories

A General Strategic
First off, let’s get the important part out of the way. This version of Yu-Gi-Oh handles like a giant game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Henceforth, this shall be the most useful two lines you will find anywhere:
Mercury > Sun > Moon > Venus > Mercury
Mars > Jupiter > Saturn > Uranus > Pluto > Neptune > Mars
Now that that is settled… J
How to unlock hidden opponents to kill….like with a rock or something…
Simon – When the game first starts, run away and come back. That’s all. No special strategy. In free duel he comes before Tea…that should say something. Learn your deck before going to face the villagers.
!! Villager 3 – the FIRST time you go to the duel arena at the beginning of the game, duel through all three villagers. Otherwise he’ll just say that he is too old to duel. With fusions it should be a cinch. The best villagers will fuse is Ushi Oni (2150), just don’t let them ^.^
Mage Soldier – when you go to the past (after the tournament), explore everywhere you can before going back to the main town. You will come across Simon’s room and the push-over—sorry, “Soldier”—will be waiting for you. If you beat the tournament and got to him, he’s…well….a pushover.
!!!!! Seto 2 – (note that tournament guy is ‘Kaiba’ not ‘Seto’) defeat two high mages (I suggest meadow and waste), return to the card shop and be prepared. You fight end-game level people and Seto is no exception. It’s tough enough to get past the Labyrinth Mage, but Seto….(granted, it is a 2-duel sequence: the path is right, right, left, right) When I beat him, it was complete LUCK. My average deck level was maybe 1900, with raigeki, 2 kunai chains, and a bright castle (82878489, cost 800) I bought with star chips. Oh, and the Labyrinth Wall I had just won. His average level is probably closer to ... Read the rest of this Guide
