Pokemon Emerald Review!
Graphics- 10

For a game released in 2005, this game has some KILLER graphics. Probably one of the best graphics for a Game Boy Advance game. Better than ANY Game Boy or Game Boy Color game. And probably the best Pokemon graphics to the time this game was released.

Sound- 9

In my opinion, the music is better than about any other Pokemon game. Maybe not the BEST, but definitely up there very high. If you don't like the default, you can switch between stereo and mono.

Addictiveness- 9

Whenever I play this game, I play it for hours! Not as long as I play Pokemon Fire Red for in a sitting, or in total, but still very addicting. If you haven't tried this game yet, give it a try! You'll get hooked in the blink of an eye.

Story- 9

Although a very similar story to Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, (both released in 2003), the story is basically still original. Even with a few changed details, it can easily be considered brand new and original. Introduced in Ruby and Sapphire, this game is in the Hoenn region. The Pokedex gets boosted from 151 in Kanto, to 251 in Johto, and now 386 in Hoenn. (As of this post there is 649, soon to be over 700.)

Depth- 10

There are a total of 15 cities/towns in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald (Littleroot Town, Oldale Town, Petalburg City, et cetera), a few points of interest, 34 routes (101 through 134, if you don't believe me, count fingers), 8 gyms, new gym leaders different from Kanto and Johto, a new elite four (Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia and Drake), and much more new things and upgrades from Ruby, Sapphire and other past games.

Difficulty- 6

Like other Pokemon games, Pokemon Emerald is not that hard. The hardest in about every game is catching all the legendaries and beating the elite four multiple times.

Overall- 8.8

A total score of the game gotten by adding the other scores (in this case, ten, nine, nine, nine again, ten ... Read the rest of this Review

Pokemon Crystal Review!
Graphics- 6

Since this is a game for the Game Boy Color, the graphics are impressing for this game. Especially sprites like Charizard, as you can see from the Retro Game Room page for this game. The graphics are rated a 6 mainly because this is an old game, and the graphics could really not be rated any higher by anyone. Granted, the Game Boy Color was released in the North American region on November 18, 1998. Still, even with the graphics this low, it would beat any Game Boy (original) game any time.

Sound- 9

The sound is good in this game. The music is enjoyable, like any other Pokemon game, and that's how it should be. Being the same as other games, you can pick from the sound settings of "Stereo" and "Mono". Since the Game Boy Color is old, it is a downgrade from more recent games, such as Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green for the Game Boy Advance, or the sequels to this game set (Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal), Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. But Fire Red and Leaf Green are from 2004 and Heart Gold and Soul Silver are from 2010.

Addictiveness- 9

A game I find myself playing for hours, and if not hours, then at least a good while. I don't play it very often due to Pokemon Fire Red and other games, but whenever I do play it, I play it for a long time. Even if you have already tried Gold or Silver, or Heart Gold and Soul Silver, you should definitely play this game. If you've only played game such as Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow or Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green, you should play this game as soon as possible. This game is great, and everyone that gives this a review should definitely give it a high score and a great review, but that's just my opinion.

Story- 9

The story in this game is original, and that's what I love about games. That's what I think every game should have. This game introduces the Johto region, and Professor Elm. Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow had the Kanto region, and Professor ... Read the rest of this Review
Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. review!
Overall- 8

I got it this time by adding up all the rest of the scores and dividing them by 6. This is a really good game, and possibly one of my favorites for the Nintendo 64.

Graphics- 7

Since the Nintendo 64 was released in North America on September 29, 1996, you can't expect the graphics to be all that great. Back then, they were probably pretty amazing. But now, with the Xbox 360 (soon to be One) and Play Station 3 (soon to be 4), the graphics are next to nothing.

Sound- 9

Could easily be a 10 if it didn't glitch on and off, and that's exactly why it's a 9. Some of the other games I can't even hear sound, or it glitches way worse than this. The music is good, especially for an older game like this one. The voices like Mario's and Pikachu's are good (ex: when you pick a character or attack with one).

Addictiveness- 8

The first time I played this game, I didn't know what I was doing, having no prior knowledge with Super Smash Bros., and I made it to the Magic Hand guy using only one continue. (I had set my lives to only 3) Sadly, I was interrupted and had to leave the house, so I didn't get to play for long. Every time after, I just do team battles, and play for at least half an hour at a time. Anyone who has not played this game already should try it out. Next thing they know they'll be playing for hours!

Story- 9

Since this is the first Super Smash Bros. game, the story is original. A child has a bunch of dolls in his or her room that come to life and fight in arenas. Now where do the arenas come from though? Since the Nintendo characters who are always so friendly start to fight, who knows what will happen. If you run out of lives, you fall back on the dresser.

Depth- 8

This game has different modes, story mode, battle mode, and multiplayer mode. There are in total 12 playable characters, 4 of which must be unlocked. The default characters are Mario, Donkey Kong,... Read the rest of this Review

Pokemon Fire Red Review!
Overall- 10

I know the numbers don't equal it, I just like the game THAT much.

Graphics- 9

The Game Boy Advance was released in 2001. The Nintendo DS was released in 2004. I think that Pokemon Fire Red has better graphics than New Super Mario Bros., but that is just my opinion. For a game that was released in 2004, this game has excellent graphics. I also like the graphics better than most Wii games.

Sound- 9

The music is good and sometimes relaxing, and has a good beat but is somewhat redundant. The sound effects aren't great, but for an older game, the sound effects and music are really good. I give the sound a 9, the same amount of years ago this game was released at the time of my post.

Addictiveness- 10

The first time I played this game, I had low expectations due to having only played Pokemon Yellow before for like 10 minutes. But this game grew and grew on me, and before long I was sitting in my computer chair playing this game for hours upon hours at a time. I now am a BIG Pokemon fanboy, and even bigger than Mario, which, not too long ago, was my favorite Nintendo game and character, before I ran into Pokemon, and now it's Pokemon and Ash.

Story- 10

I know the story isn't exactly... well... original, but I still like it. Yes, the same story was used in Pokemon Red, Blue and basically even Yellow up to this point, but all originality aside, the story is amazing! This story is going to go down in history for best video game/retro game/computer game ever!

Depth- 9

The game is huge! There are 9 cities, one giant building, a tower, a maze-like power plant, an island where people live (sort of like Hawaii!) and seven other islands! This game will take some time to even beat the elite four the first time, little long second. There is a ton to do in this game, catch the Pokemon, beat the gyms and the elite four, face everyone along the way, take down Team Rocket, and ... Read the rest of this Review
