Fallout 4 11-25-15 11:35 AM |
Fallout 4 Welcome Home Fallout 4 is a game me and many Fallout fans alike waited so long for, so here i am to bring you my review of this game after the playing non stop Graphics: Bethesda's games never were graphical showcases they were more about the gameplay and immersion. The game uses an updated version of the Creation Engine which is the engine that runs Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online. Compared to the past Fallout games it is like night and day how good the graphics are but critics say the game doesnt look "next gen enough" even though the games looks great already but if graphics had to suffer for the game to run as smooth as it does then i am fine with it. Sound: Music: The ambient soundtrack composed by Inon Zur is fantastic and way better than his previous works for Fallout 3. The ambient soundtrack really feels like he gave it his all to make it sound as phenomenal as it does. The radio soundtrack is alright most of its songs are from Fallout 3 and dont have a lot of new songs and the radio dj is boring and unbearable compared to Three Dog from Fallout 3 and it feels the same five songs are repeated so i probably havent heard the whole soundtrack but i always find myself turning off the radio to listen to the ambient music or using the Spotify app for music. Voices: Unlike Fallout 3 and New Vegas where every NPC sounded the same, in Fallout 4 it feels like each NPC has a voice actor and brings a bit of immersion into the world Environment: each little thing has its own unique sound and the growls of mutated animals and the crack of a hunting rifle sound so good and it makes me feel like im in the wasteland. Addictiveness: the game has plenty to do and a huge wasteland to explore so you will be sucked in Story: this is the weak part of the game, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas had very boring stories and Fallout 4's stoory is boring but not as boring as the others. The game starts on the day... Read the rest of this Review |
Pokemon HeartGold Version 09-24-15 11:00 AM |
Awesome Pokemon Heartgold was released in 2010 and is the remake of Pokemon Gold which was originally released on Game Boy Color; there is also a remake of Pokemon Silver called Soul Silver as well. Pokemon Heartgold was the last good pokemon game released on the Nintendo DS (in my opinion) because Black and White 1 and 2 were a disappointment and the first pokemon game i own that i never beat. Graphics: A pokemon game with bad graphics is impossible because pokemon has its own unique art style and has an awesome graphics engine which works very well for pokemon. Sound: The sound is awesome, the original soundtrack was remade and later on in the game you can get a "Game Boy Pocket" item that lets you switch to the original soundtrack. Pokemon games always have a unique sound but can feel repetitive after heard for the millionth time Addictiveness: Pokemon is like a drug once you play it, you cant put it down and the end of the game will leave you wanting more. Story: You start in the Johto Region and its like any other pokemon game, Battle through the regions gym leaders, stop the evil organization in the region (in this game you fight Team Rocket) and go to the Pokemon League to be the pokemon champion. Even though the story seems the same in every Pokemon it seems as if each story is unique in its own way Depth: The game comes with a pokemon themed pedometer called a Pokewalker where you download your pokemon to it and the way it works is that as you walk your pokemon levels up and the pokewalker if im not mistaken has an app where you can catch pokemon and an app where you can get items. The game connects Johto and Kanto together allowing you to journey to both regions. The game has a new thing called the Pokemon triathlon kinda like a Pokemon Olympics :P The game has 451 Pokemon but 42 can only be gotten if you trade pokemon from the past games and some special legendary pokemon from wi fi events. <... Fallout 3 09-16-15 08:44 AM |
Fallout 3 Fallout 3 was released in 2008 by Bethesda Softworks, the same company who is famous for the Elder Scrolls Series. The game is set in 2277 in a post apocalyptic Washington D.C.; two hundred years after a nuclear war destroys a United States who couldn't get out of the 1950's culture. Graphics: The graphics are pretty bad, the game uses the Gamebryo engine (the only game i can think that uses that engine is Rocksmith) which is not the best engine if you want good graphics. Fallout 3 wasnt a graphical showcase, it wasn't suppose to be but they were good for an RPG as big as the game was at the time. Sound: Awesome. Each enemy, animal, and weapon has its own distinct sound. From the rattle of a Radroach to the sound of a hot laser firing out of a laser rifle, the games' sounds seem to immerse you into the wasteland. The game has radio stations that play music from the 1950's just to have some tunes to listen to as you wander the wasteland I may have had over 200 hours in my first playthrough but this doesnt include the other countless playthroughs ive done. You may not be able to put the game down once you get it; the game is that good. Story: Dad have left the Vault's protection from the wasteland to complete a project him and your mother worked on before you were born. You have to fight through the Vault who wants to kill you over your dad leaving and accidentally caused a radroach infestation which caused civil unrest in the vault. After fighting through the vault you walk out of the cave the vault was in to see the huge wasteland of Post Apocalyptic Washington D.C. Now you have a huge wasteland to explore while you find your dad and complete his project with him. Depth: There is always something to do and places to, you may think you discovered everything in the wasteland but you are wrong. The wasteland even has little bobbleheads scattered across the wasteland for you to find and custom weapons you... Read the rest of this Review |
Halo: The Master Chief Collection 09-15-15 09:27 AM |
Awesome Halo The Master Chief Collection, the collection every Halo fan has waited years for. Halo The Master Chief Collection was released in 2014 by 343 Industries. The game has Halo 1-4 with the brand new Halo 2 Anniversary and recently released Halo 3 ODST as downloadable content. To show how far graphics have gone over the years 343 allows us to switch graphics from new to original for Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 Graphics: Halo Combat Evolved/Anniversary: Halo Combat Evolved graphics were awesome for 2001, it showed what Xbox could do when it first launched and the Anniversary graphics uses the Halo Reach engine and Anniversary was released on Xbox 360 but Anniversary for the Xbox One looks beautiful in 1080p 60fps Halo 2/Anniversary: Halo 2's original graphics were revolutionary for 2004; it pushed the limits of the Original Xbox and did so successfully and the graphics aged really well and can hold up to this day. Anniversary graphics are...fantastic. Halo 2 Anniversary is the most beautiful game of this generation if not the best looking game of all time. The marines look realistic the environment looks realistic; everything has a bunch of detail and it seems 343 has been developing it for a long time. Anniversary includes CGI cutscenes which looks beautiful but id prefer if the cutscenes were done in the Anniversary engine Halo 3: It looks the same as it did on Xbox 360 besides the enhanced lighting and a little bit more detail overall it seems they didn't tweak the game much but we can now play it in 1080p 60fps so, the game doesn't feel a bit slow like it did on Xbox 360 Halo 4: just like Halo 3 there wasn't really any tweaking from the Xbox 360 graphics but the game still looks beautiful Sounds: Overall the sound is fantastic, each game uses its original sounds. Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 soundtracks' were composed by Marty O'Donnell, a phenomenal composer. The remaster... Read the rest of this Review |
Halo Triple Pack 09-14-15 02:31 PM |
If you can find it, Grab it Halo Triple Pack is the ultimate Halo collection for the Orginal Xbox. Bundled with Halo Combat Evolved,2 and the Halo 2 Multiplayer map pack; Halo Triple Pack will bring you hours of nonstop fun campaign wise and multiplayer wise if you have some friends to invite over Graphics: Halo Combat Evolved: When it came out the graphics for its time were extraordinary and in my opinion can hold up to this day as well Halo 2: Its graphics was a huge step up from Combat Evolved graphics and it holds up to this day Both engines are superb for their time and aged very well Sound: Awesome music composed by Marty O'Donnel to the explosions, gunshots and the screams of your enemies as you lead them to slaughter, the sounds in both games are superb Halo Combat Evolved: The sounds are awesome and hold up to this day, the music is a masterpiece Halo 2: The sounds are a step up from Combat Evolved and are just superb; the music is nothing but another masterpiece Both games have awesome sounds and the soundtracks are ones we will remember Addictiveness: 2 phenomenal Halo stories packed with each games multiplayer with a map pack slapped on top, if the multiplayer for Halo 2 still worked id be surprised you would leave your house Story: Halo, a story that will stick with us till the end. Halo Combat Evolved takes place after Halo Reach (chronologically) and the UNSC cruiser Pillar Of Autumn escapes reach and stumbles across a halo ring. You are placed in the boots of Petty Officer John 117 a biologically enhanced super soldier known as a Spartan, also known as the Master Chief. The Autumn gets board and you are ordered to get an Hologram AI known as Cortana who will be your companion across these games of the Autumn. John crashes on the Halo ring and explores it and uncovers it secrets. Halo 2 picks up where Halo Combat Evolved leaves off; John is on one of Earths orbital stations and the covenan... Halo 2 09-14-15 11:54 AM |
Halo 2 Halo 2 is a major success for its time and basically started the competitive online gaming as opposed to the "couch gaming" competition. Does it deserve all the praise and scores it got and is it as good if not better than its predecessor Halo Combat Evolved? Lets take look then. Graphics: Graphics are very good for its time and can still somewhat hold up to this day. They are a massive improvement from Halo Combat Evolved graphics. Sound: Awesome and a huge improvement from Halo Combat Evolved. The new soundtrack is a masterpiece composed by Marty O'Donnel. The soundtrack includes all new tracks and each track from Halo CE is improved and one of their best tracks (i cant recall the name) is given a rock cover of it. Addictiveness: if you like Halo and its multiplayer you will be hooked with the new online muliplayer component Story: Takes place after Halo Combat Evolved with the covenant invading Earth but instead of playing as the Master Chief for the entire game you can play as The Arbiter for a half of the game. The Arbiter was a former elite ordered to stop the Master Chief from destroying Halo but became the Arbiter due to his failure. People knock on the story for being a bit boring but its pretty good Depth: the game has a good bit to offer Campaign, Online Multiplayer (sadly shut down for Xbox and Xbox 360) and local multiplayer wth all the game modes from Halo Combat Evolved, Team Slayer, Slayer, Capture The Flag, King Of The Hill, etc Difficulty: the game is not hard due to regenerated health but the Legendary Difficulty will be unforgiving. Compared the other difficulties, legendary is very difficult due to enemies causing more damage, AI is smarter, snipers nearly never miss and enemy shields are stronger. TIP: To survive Legendary this combo called the "Noob Combo" is the best to murder your enemies. The Noob Combo includes a plasma pistol, a gun you cn... Read the rest of this Review |
Sims, The 09-14-15 11:20 AM |
Fun The Sims 1 is a life simulator game originally on the PC but now has moved to the consoles Graphics: The graphics compared to the pc are way better its kinda "3D-ish" compared to the 2D graphics the pc version had. Everything has more detail than the pc but compared to common console gaming graphics they are kinda crappy but its not meant to be a graphical showcase Sound: every sound from the sims 1 pc is there and really goood sounds for a sims game Addictiveness: If you like sims you will love this game especially if you never played the console version Story: the story is pretty good for a sims game; you start as a bum in your moms house and you do tasks and jobs to earn money and move from place to place till you eventually reach the Ultimate House Depth: Compared to the pc its got a bit less to offer due to the pc version having an Expansions including a Online component but it has a story mode unlike the pc ( i may be wrong) and a two player splitscreen component Difficulty: the game isnt hard at all but the story can be a bit tedious Overall: if you like the sims and never played the console version please get it, its so fun |
Star Wars Battlefront 2 09-14-15 11:03 AM |
Alright This game is another game star wars fans should own, though by mny including myself the game just wasnt as awesome as Battlefront 1 but Battlefront 2 brings a lot more to the table Graphics: they are eh but compared to battlefront 1 the game looks kinda fuzzy but that may just be me Sound: Excellent. Its full of sounds from the movies and custom sounds for certain things with the superb Star Wars soundtrack composed by John Williams playing in the background Addictiveness: once you play it you may never put it down Story: the story is a bit of a step up from Battlefront 1 but its still not a good story. The story puts you in the boots of the 501st legion and you begin in the Clone Wars but move on during when Episode III is taking place and you follow the 501st all the way to the Battle of Hoth in Episode V Depth: There are a total of 19 maps ( i could be incorrect) and there are new gmetypes and a revamped Galactic conquest Galactic conquest is the same as battlefront one but on a galactic scale and has space battles implemented, you can buy upgrades such as reinforcements and a jedi and you have to buy other tropper types. New Features: Hunt: a gamemoad on certain maps where you can play as certain creatures from the star wars universe such as: Tatooine- Jawas vs Tusken Raiders Hoth: Wampas vs Rebels Endor: Ewoks vs Empire Naboo: Gungan vs Naboo Royal Army Space battles: grab a starfighter and dogfight in space and take out certain parts of the enemy ship to achieve victory Hero: battle it out with many jedi and iconic star wars villains such as: Heroes: Aayla Secura, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia, Yoda, Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, and Ki Adi Mundi Villains: Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Darth Sidious,Anakin Skywalker, General Grievous, Darth Maul, Count Dooku Capture The Flag: Self explanatory; go to the enemy base take their flag... Star Wars Battlefront 09-14-15 10:23 AM |
GET THIS GAME If you like star wars i dont know why you dont have this game Story: There isnt much of a story; there are two campaigns, The Galactic Civil war which kinda take place during events of Episode IV. The Clone Wars takes place during Episode 1 on the Invasion of Naboo then goes to the Battle of Geonosis in Episode II and ends after a few battles in the actual clone wars. The story isnt really much of a story and felt it was just there for the sake of putting a campaign in it Graphics: graphics are great for the ps2 but they could be a bit better in my opinion Sound: The sound is AWESOME most taken from the movies with the famous music from John Williams in the background of every match Depth: There are a total of fifteen maps, there are three game modes: Galactic Conquest: Choose a team and win aq game on a map to conquer a planet that map is in, Conquer every planet and you can rule to the galaxy Campaign: 2 stories that the majority take place during the movies Instant Action: Choose maps and put them in a list to play, just for good fun Addictiveness: if you love star wars i can guarantee you will love this game Difficulty: the game is very easy to pick up and play with little challenge Overall the game is a great game star wars fans should own, and a game on star wars fans could enjoy |
Sims 2, The 09-14-15 10:01 AM |
Eh So the game starts as you arriving in this small town called Strangetown to put this town on the map. Well after a small alien problem you become a manager of the hotel in town and thats how the story progresses and you make your money. Random shady people come in such as a random emo chick, a greedy rich man named Frank Fusili and a Robot Monkey who looks like an FNAF ripoff. The story is nothing special; well to be honest there really isnt a story The graphics are alright for the ds The sound is pretty good for a ds game The game has little to no depth whatsoever I cant see anyone getting addicted to this game and the game is painfully easy There are neat things such as adding cool rooms to your hotel, arcade machines with real arcade games on em for example there is a Space Invaders ripoff and a Breakout ripoff Overall the game is alright if you can get it for no more than $5 The game feels nothing like a sims games it feels as if they had a game idea and just slapped the sims label on it hoping the label will help it sell |
Fallout: New Vegas 08-13-13 10:13 PM |
Fallout New Vegas: A game you will never put down Fallout New Vegas is a game in the Fallout Universe that takes place in 2281, 4 years after the events of Fallout 3. You are a courier hired by the Mojave Express to deliver a secret package to Mr.House in New Vegas. A casino manager by the name of Benny wants the?package to take over Vegas so he finds you with aid of the Great Kahns (one of the tribes in the Mojave Wasteland, Benny takes the package (soon to be know as a Platinum Chip) (The Chip can override the securitrons, Robots that protect Vegas. Anyways Benny shoots you in the head and buries you in the Goodsprings Cemetary, a securitron named Victor digs you out of the grave and takes you to the Goodsprings doctor , Doc Mitchell. So you wake up in the Doc's home and you set up your character and all that, After you leave the doctors home you can go to the "Prospectors Saloon" and meet a girl named "Sunny Smiles" she will give you a gun and let you do target training. In the Mojave Wasteland you can do quests for four opposite factions : NCR (a military army that tries to bring good across the Wasteland), The Legion (a group of slavers, evil people led by Caesar), Yes Man (a securitron?reprogrammed by Benny that would help him take over Vegas), Mr.House (the father of New Vegas who protected most of Vegas from the nukes of the Great War of 2077) The game is addictive so much greatness, you can do quests for people across the wasteland to earn caps, weapons and good or bad karma. I highly recommend the game if you are a fan of Fallout 3 or the past Fallout games, the game is not really that difficult it depends if you are new to Fallout or not. Sounds are great but the game full of npc's should have more voice actors, Graphics are awesome, The game offers a lot especially the DLC's Just be warned the "Dead Money" DLC will fill you with rage The DLC's are: Lonesome Road Honest Hearts Old World Blues Dead Money Courier's Stash Gun Runners Arsenal |
Pokemon Yellow 05-22-13 09:26 PM |
Review Well if you played one of the old pokemon you played them all. Well until you get into the newer regions or if a game in the same region gets more pokemon. Basically pokemon is like Scooby doo. See one watched them all. Anyway on to the game, pokemon yellow is set in the kanto region (same as pokemon blue/red) Its just like pokemon blue/red and green (only released in Japan) but the only difference is the starter you get is Pikachu however your not able to get any of the other starters from blue/red unless you have a gameshark. The game goes on as blue/red. This games I great but hard to find and expensive great thing we have vizzed to play this. |
