Kingdom Hearts - Chain of Memories

Seriestacular
I have been playing kingdom hearts since the first one came out, and have played most of the series, including this on gba and re:chain of memories on ps2. I honestly was not greatly impressed with the game play, as they deviated very much from the game play. However it did add a slightly refreshing twist to the game. This game's story was a bit tried, but none the less, it was not tired. The idea that you literately just got done with the first game and continue to lose all of your memories of doing so, you then continue to make your way through castle oblivion. The characters were very decent and fresh. The difficulty was fairly hard, and finally for those who like this idea once the game is beaten with sora, you can move on to beat the game with riku. I would recommend the game to those who would like to learn the story of the series, but if you aren't interested in the kingdom hearts game series, you probably shouldn't play this game.

THIS GAME IS HARD
Who else enjoys playing hard games that require you to put in a lot of hours to beat and serious patience to beat. I know I do, games like this one keep my patience at a peek. In this game you play as Arthur, a knight who is just returning from a long journey. You come back to see your sweetheart and just as you get together with her a demon breaks into her castle and takes her away. You then go through ten levels of very few check points, numerous power-ups, lots of weapons and a ridiculous number of zombies, werewolves, ghosts and ridiculously strong bosses. The game boy advanced version allows a nice extra that the snes was not kind enough to include, Saving. In the snes if you lost all of your lives you could go back to the last check point but if you turned off the game, time to start over. This game is Defiantly a favorite in my book. You start with regular armor and two lives and the lance. One thing I meant to mention when Arthur gets hit once and his armor falls off and he battles evil in his underwear. WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BATTLE EVIL IN THEIR FREAKING UNDERWEAR. Among the arsenal of our hero is the bow and arrow, lance, daggers, torch, ax, scythe and much more. You also get super armor which makes each of these weapons much stronger and have a different range, for example the arrows become heat seeking missiles which soar at the creature. The down side to this is that you can only hold one weapon at a time. This game is worth playing for sure and for those who enjoy difficult games you want to play this.

unbeatable
Let me start by saying I hate any and all racing games. I apologise to those who like them if I offend you with that statement, but I say that to tell you that this is the one acception. This game has been a personal favorite for a long time.

in this game you start by picking a unicycle of your favorite color. And begin by doing some races, pretty simple concept. And definatly not too much to change between. It's either a long drag race, a lap race, or a point competition. But the courses are some of the most insane creations ever made. You ride on what looks like candy cane colored pipes that were installed by  whilly freaking wonka.

The music is the best part about this game for sure. the songs are all pumped up songs made to get you into the mood to really haul and try to win. humerous how music can make a person so excited about racing little colorful unicycles across a colorful terain.

you can pick from a pretty decent selection of unicycles which all have names. i  am personally a fan of carol.

The graphics are what attracted me to the game in the first place. the graphics are (in my opinion) better than that of donkey kong coutnry and sonic and killer instinct combined. for it's time these were some of the best graphis on this console.

when you start you see 4 areas. crawler, hopper, walker, and one other that escapes me. in each of these there 4 races, each more difficult than the last. after you beat these you find out that you were only in the bronze field, now on to the silver. with more races, and more difficult races against another unicycle.

of all things i have to say that this game is deffinatly addicting and one that if you like racer games and if you just want to pass alot of time without realizing it, or you just have a thing for unicycles. this is the game for you
Mario Tennis

Favorite gameboy color game ever.
This game was one that I got on a whim as a child and was my favorite for the gbc ever since.

The fact that it said MARIOTENNIS on the front told me that you'd play as Mario or one of the characters there of, but only on the vs. Mode and at the end does any of these characters come into play.  instead you start as a newbie kid at a prestigious tennis academy with dreams of someday making the tippy top of the charts. You name your character and then go on the grand tour and meet the staff. Then you meet your room mate, tennis partner, and friend.

the graphics for this game were give and take, but the fact that you free roamed the whole academy and could move further out than the court it's self went was cool as well as navigating the whole court and changing sides. They pretty much incorporated the whole rule book for a real game of tennis into this game.

you have rivals and people who want to make it even harder for you. You have challenges such as target shot where you have to aim at a small area about 1/16 of the court's size, ball return where you return a number of balls from 15 to about 90 without missing one or hitting the net or shooting it out, wall ball, serve matches, etc.

when you've become this great tennis player you get shipped out for the ultimate tital match against the all reigning champion (or champions if you chose to play doubles) Mario and/or Peach. Both of which are the biggest characters in the game.

my favorite thing about this whole game though has to be the avatar strength. I love games with this feature and the fact that you leveled up after every, if not every other match, made you feel like you accomplished something besides just making some girl cry. (opponent 3 of the game) and you got to upgrade to an extent, your stats to make yourself a better tennis master.
Killer Instinct

This is the best fighter of any ever.
This game was the best game of all my child hood games. I never want this game to change, I have thought that they might give it one modern shot, but that might ruin this game for me. The graphics for it's time could match wits with donkey Kong country. The theme is going to hold throughout time, it was the only game I could beat my cousin "big brother" at and was awesome with it's announcer. The story and depth were a little shallow, being that it only had an ending story for the characters, but it was defiantly hard. Once I got to idol, it was all over and then I discovered spinal. He is defiantly my best.
