Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Hi! Welcome to my walkthrough of Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon. (this is my first walkthrough, sorry if it’s not perfect) First lets start with the controls, if you have played this game before on your PlayStation you might as well skip this section, but if you need a quick reminder feel free to read on. (keep in mind I made this before I got the PlayStation item so I don’t know the PC controls so I will use the PlayStation controls instead) If you see this * it means that all characters can perform this action. SPYRO THE DRAGON *Use the D-pad or the left analogue stick to move Spyro around, push the stick forward to move Spyro in that direction, left to move him left, right to move him right and back to move him back, if you push it a little Spyro will walk but if you push it all the way he will run at full gallop.* *Use the X button to make Spyro jump, he will jump higher the longer you hold it*, if you press X again while Spyro is in mid jump he will glide, you can steer while gliding. *Use the [] button to charge with your horns, hold down [] to keep charging, while you charge, the camera will automatically move behind you and stay there until you stop, use this to defeat small enemies with armor, this can also be used to press switches on walls. *Use the O button to use an ability that dragons are best known for: Flame breath, use this to fry your enemies to a crisp, don’t forget you can’t flame enemies with armor. if Spyro has something in his mouth he will spit it out instead of using his flame. *Use the triangle button to look around from Spyro’s point of view, you can look in any direction but you can’t look all the way around.
