Killer Instinct

One of my all-time favorite classics!
Graphics-10: To start off, the graphics of this game are one of the most amazing I have ever seen especially when taking into consideration that the game was released in 1995 (on the SNES. It was first released for arcade in 1994, also the year I was born :) Although the graphics where a lot better in the arcade version the backgrounds, settings, and characters are still very detailed! You could especially see how the battle settings were something they really put a lot of focus into. The details the creators were able to put in are what makes the game even better, everything looks pretty much real even the places you know can't be real (such as the places with lava on the ground of coarse.) Another great thing about the graphics is the combos and special effects the characters have! This game is Street fighter and Mortal Combat COMBINED. The combos look hardcore and crazy (in a good way though.) The better the combo the crazier it looks. In the end of a battle the character about to win gets to decide how they want to finish off his or her opponent. Not to mention, the effects on the character are also crazy! There is a robot who looks futuristic, a skeleton that looks real just like the ones you see in museums, of course don't forget a man who is actually made out of fire, and many more!

Sound-10: The sounds are also one of the best parts of the game! Each character has their own theme sound that fits them perfectly, some characters even have voices that I would say fits them just right as well. They each have several different noises they make every time they get injured and every time they perform a combo. Also, the announcer of the game has a deep loud voice which makes it fairly easily to understand and hear. He also announces what type of combo one of the characters just performed. The last thing about sound is the background music,... Read the rest of this Review
Mario Kart 64

Great game! but has improved(:
Graphics-10: This game has pretty good graphics if you compare it to other games on the Nintendo 64. Since the creators where able to develop that 3D effect in Super Mario 64 they were then able to input it in Mario Kart 64 as well. However, the game has clearly been improved (well I guess It might just be my opinion, it’s really up to you. What do you think?) If you compare Mario Kart 64 to Mario Kart DS, I think Mario Kart DS will take it. Mario Kart 7 is in actual 3D but it’s good to limit yourself from it. Nonetheless, the point is Mario Kart 64 is a great game that everyone will enjoy but if you would like better graphics then I recommend playing Mario Kart DS. … But within the game, I simply love how all the different courses have a different theme, it’s very interesting! Some of the characters even happen to have their own racing course.

Sound-10: The sound is great! As I mentioned before, each course is different and what I loved the most is how every course has its own little theme song. The course “DK Jungle Parkway” has music and sounds that actually make it sound like you are in a jungle! Most games have the same sound in every different course or place, which does’t really add any excitement to the game itself. Some of you will find that if you are really into the game racing or whatever then you will probably not even pay attention to the music. Probably the sound that everyone will notice is when you happen to hit an item box (it’s a cool little sound.)

Addictiveness-10: This game is really addictive, not only is the racing fun but trying to pass the game is what gets one really addicted. Once you get the hang of the game then all you want to do is keep racing until you are able to earn a golden cup in each of the “Cups” (Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup, and ... Pokemon Silver

Awesome game, very entertaining!
Graphics: Well the graphics have decent color although very old school, none of that 3rd dimensional gibberish. But that doesn't really change anything inside the game, I mean it would be nice to see some great artwork and details but it's still pretty legit. Unless you really care about seeing details then it really doesn't matter.

Sound: The sound is not worst yet again it is not the best either. The little music that comes out every time you're walking around got me pretty annoyed. Well that's because It's like the same little beats throughout the whole story. There is supposedly a radio in the game in which you could change the tune but the tune changes every time you walk in a different place, which is constantly. It doesn't help much but for one part of whole game. I would just hear something else while playing the game to distract me from it. Many others might not really be bothered by it though.

Addictiveness: I actually played this game a lot when I was a little kid! I recently found this great website and found that I could play all the old games I used to play and this happened to be one of them! So yes! I would definitely play this game again but if you replay it you will already know the whole story line and know what you have to next do with such an ease, so I would recommend taking a break.

Story: Well the story is that the protagonist (you) has a dream to become a great Pokémon trainer, maybe even become the best one out there! First, you are out to complete a little mission, after you find out some thief is out there stealing Pokémon and treating them with no love you go out there and become a loving trainer yourself. With hours of hard work and training you go out there and collect various gym badges and beat the most powerful trainer out there. The end! ... NOT until you complete the pokedex!

Depth: The game goes really into depth with the Pokémon! Not only do you have that long storyline where yo... Read the rest of this Review
