Donkey Kong Country 06-17-13 07:57 PM	Welcome to the country Its DK, Donkey Kong. This game is the start of a beautiful franchise, a franchise that skewers FAR away from the arcade games. In this SNES gem of a game, you play the duo of Donkey Kong (the bruiser) and Diddy Kong (the agile) as they battle the nefarious King K. Rool and his army of Kremlings as you reclaim your stolen fortune of bananas (real monkey problems). Rare really knew what they were doing. GRAPHICS: 10 The graphics are really splendid and they utilize the full capabilities of the SNES. Beautiful landscapes, dark storms, radiant sunsets...etc SOUND: 10 Phenomenal soundtrack, absolutely wonderful ADDICTIVENESS: 8 Not really much replay value. No collectables whatsoever STORY: 9 Simple story of reclaiming stolen....treasures? DEPTH: 10 Pretty straightforward. Not much in extra content or alternate pathways. DIFFICULTY: 8 Although, there is a major increase in difficulty halfway through the third area. OVERALL: 10
Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (Euro 980123) 12-12-12 11:12 PM	Clash of Greats Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes...what is there to say about one of the best arcade fighters in the history of gaming? The game is just phenomenal. Really great graphics for an arcade game and props for whoever translated it on Vizzed. It plays as clean as it did (in some cases, still do) as it did in the arcades. The combination of characters makes it even more fun (my team is Wolverine and Ryu). Arcade forces you to tackle various teams in effort to fight and beat Onslaught, (did I mention he is tough as Wolverine's claws?). This games in coming years, will be great, but never...EVER...as great as this game is. Graphics- 8. Sound-8. Addictiveness-10. Depth-10. Difficulty-10. Overall-10.
Super Mario Kart 01-25-12 04:10 PM	Klassic Kartness at its best Wow, what can I say about this game? Well, I can say crazy, cooky, simple and retro. I can also say prototype. This game reminds me of the grand days of the SNES and the reason why I pick Toad when I play future Mario Kart games. Graphics-9 Makes perfect use of 16-bit graphics truly coordinated with the power of the SNES. Fully detailed, bright and colorful Sound-9 Bright, cheery, and colorful Addictiveness-10 VERY addictive for its time Story-1 Its a racing game, why should there be a story? What is this Crash Team Racing? Depth-6 Like I said prototype. Future Mario Kart games will have more characters to offer and more stuff to do, this game had the basic parts down pat for trial and error Difficulty-9 If you play 50cc, Peach will spam Mini-Shrooms like no tomorrow. If you play 100cc, the game will run rug shot over you. If you play 150cc, the game will pin you down. Overall-9.6 Fun, classic, and worthy of being called a true gem
