Final Fantasy III

Final Fantasy III Review
Where to begin with this review. Final Fantasy III (later known as Final Fantasy VI), is easily the most alluring RPG of its era. What makes this particular game stand out from the pack is its well thought out character development, and captivating story line. The game can be beaten in as little as 20 hours, but could easily spend an additional twenty hours uncovering all of its secrets.  This game sparked my interest in RPG's and inspired me to seek out other RPG's that would draw me in with their captivating stories and characters. It seems that everything just fits perfectly together with this game

I would say as someone who's played every version of this game released state-side, that this particular version still holds the dearest place in my heart. The Game Released in 1994, the backgrounds, battle engine, and overworld effects are gorgeous, considering it's birthdate. But the gameplay, the foundation of Final Fantasy III, is one of the two main elements that make it the gem of all the industry.

Graphics:
The graphics in all are a bit sketchy if you look at the game in 2 person view I guess you would say but most people who like older styled retro games never complain as much as they would as someone that only likes newer types of games. This game is quite beautiful in my opinion. I didn't expect such nice graphics. Traveling most of the world is very beautiful when it comes to it's graphics especially for it's generation.

Sound:
Final Fantasy continues to have interesting yet enjoyable music in this game. I love most of the music. There are several styles included in this game, and many are applied to the location in which you are in. Each hero gets their own theme music to suit them. The last bosses music is actually a series of suites, and to see it play out is nice and fitting for my style of gaming music. They also have The Opera!

Oh, the beautiful music! Again, none of the other titles can match up aga... Read the rest of this Review
Super Mario Kart

Super Mario Kart
Super Mario Kart is probably one of my favorite games out of all the Mario games. My sister even let me borrow her Nintendo DS Mario Kart game and I love it. Very unique in it's own way even if it is just the Super Nintendo version. If I had to pick out of all the systems to play Super Mario Kart, I would probably stick with the Super Nintendo version .. I mean the other versions are great in their own way but I just overall like this version the best.

Graphics and Music  :
The game uses the SNES Mode 7, and it looks pretty good, the backgrounds are very pixalated sometimes but it doesn't bother me as much as it would bother somebody else... they still look good in my opinion and that's always a plus and the same happens with the music, its very interesting and great to listen to.. it's not annoying like some games I play at the least which is always a plus. I usually don't prefer the type of graphics that Super Mario for Super Nintendo has but in this cause it's just awesome.

Addictiveness :
The addictiveness is quite amazing in my opinion.. even I didn't think that I would come back to this game so much. ..like all other Mario Kart games, Super Mario Kart always keeps you coming back for more. There is several different modes to pick from and even if you win every single part of the game, you will eventually end up coming back to play the game again. It's just that good. I don't usually play games as much as this but I like racing games in general which maybe one of the reasons I come crawling back to this game a lot. There is always another level I can replay even if I beat the entire game.

Story:
There is not really a story just like any other Super Mario Kart game. It's pretty much just racing and trying to be in 1st place against the other characters/ opponent's. Sometimes I wish there was some type of story within Super Mario Kart but in my opinion it's still pretty great the way it is.

Pokemon Yellow

Pokemon Yellow Review!!
Pokémon Yellow! This game is pretty awesome! It's basically the same as Pokémon red and blue but has a slight anime twist because mainly that's what it is. You have a starter Pokémon which is pikachu and cool characters like Jessie and James. I think it's probably one of the more popular games of Pokémon and I am not going to lie it's probably one of my more favorite ones.

Graphics: (9)  I think the graphics are pretty decent. They are pretty much like the other Pokémon games but it gives a little more 'flavor' and color in my opinion. I'm guessing some would disagree with me on that but it is just my opinion. When it comes to Pokémon game graphics I become a little sketchy because I like older style graphics but my favors are more towards newer style graphics. So far most of the graphics of all the Pokémon games I have played are good. I played my brothers Pokémon X game for his 3ds and I didn't really like the graphics as much as I like the ones from this game. I think  it varies a lot of times. My overall score is a 9 though because they are good but have a few colors that I don't really like.

Sound: (9) The sound of this game is decent pretty much like other Pokémon games. As many of you that have read my recent reviews you know that I don't like annoying music because I have frequent headaches and migraines. My entire life though playing Pokémon games I haven't received a headache, so I guess that's saying something. I like the music it's edgy. The sound over all is a 9 though because it's great music and sounds but its a lot of the same sounds that is most Pokémon games.

Addictiveness: (10) I rated a 10 on the addictiveness because yet again I am just a fan of Pokémon Games in general and I end up playing them hours at a time. This one is more fun though than most because you get to play with pikachu and my favorite Pokémon would probably have to be pikachu. I... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Silver

Pokemon Silver Review
Pokémon Silver is an amazing game. I remember when I was really young, probably about 8 years old this game was probably my first Nintendo/ Pokémon game. I was so excited to play it and it was really worth it. I have tried out many other Pokémon games but this game hits the 1# favorite out of all the Pokémon games. It's one of those games I come back to over and over and never get bored with. I will get rid of different games or quit playing them but this one is different for me. I can come back to it any day at any time and not get bored with it :P

Graphics (9) The graphics of this game are quite well especially compared to red and yellow and the other versions. It provides color and great visuals when you go into battle mode. Every sense I opened the case to this game the graphics were amazing in my eyes. Some games as I have got older, the graphics just seemed worse and worse, it gets pretty old how much my views change a lot of the time, sometimes I just wish I could keep most of the same views as I had but that isn't the case. This game is completely different. It always gives that beautiful perspective that I am looking for. It's pretty interesting how as I have got older the coloring of games have got different. Not sure if my eyes just changed or if my taste in graphics changed. The graphics still seemed to pop and my views on this games graphics haven't changed one bit. I actually like them better than some of the newer Pokémon graphics.

Sound (9) The sounds in this game are very awesome! They even added newer sounds which is pretty cool. I don't really like most of the sounds in most games, they are either annoying or they are to repeative. In my opinion, this game gives a bit more sounds and it's defiantly not annoying. I don't like repeative music and other than entering the battle and a couple of other things in game it's not repeative and i... Read the rest of this Review
Super Mario All-Stars

Super Mario All-Stars Review
Wow, Okay so Super Mario All-Stars is a fantastic game especially if you want a variety of different games! I
mean come on it's 4 games in 1 of MARIO how much more could you ask than just that? When I first played this game I was like okay, 'wait what'? I didn't understand at first that it was 4 games in 1, I ended up trying each one and was like
okay this is different then the other and then actually examined the game and was like DUH that's why it's a 4 in
1 game. I was so excited and already I had played almost all 4 of the games.

Graphics : 9 The graphics are very nice. I find most of the graphics are actually better than some of the other
Mario games I have played. Not sure if it's because it's a bigger style of character or if it's because of the
extra detail they put into the actual game itself. All I know is the graphics wowed me. I was kind of disappointed
when this game basically reminded me of other Mario games even though it was bigger and/or better graphics.
I want something new, not the same old thing. I liked this game more when I was younger but as I have gotten
older my opinions have just changed, not sure if that is just because I have played the game in general so much
or if it's an actual problem with the game.

Sound : 10 The sound is pretty good. There is a variety of music and since there is 4 games there is plenty of
different kinds of styles of music and sounds that would basically fit the title *something for all*. I myself
didn't know what to expect. I thought most of the music would be annoying, probably the same as most games
but I was very wrong. This game adds the kind of feel you want in sound with many games that don't provide that
feeling. Try out the sounds, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have, plus look on the bright side at least
to most it isn't annoying music and/or sounds.

Addictiveness : 9 This game is enticingly addictive. ... Read the rest of this Review
