Sega SC-3000 BASIC Level 3 v1.0
07-16-13 06:28 AM
Basic Level 3
Graphics~ All letters, numbers, and symbols are readable with a good contrasting background color to see everything clearly.Sound~ Beeps at every move you make. Can get irritating. It didn't even have a theme song in the beginning.Addictiveness~ It nearly has no purpose except as a similar viewpoint of being a notepad.Difficulty~ Just like using Microsoft WordOverall~ I just could not get the reason for this game. I still do not know what its purpose is.Here is a video for referencehttp://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/game.php?id=64608&page=user-videos&video=T-2eBvdXlJU#user-videos
Sega SC-3000 Music Editor

Music Editor
Graphics~ Very simple graphics but it is just like all the other games (the ones I've seen on Vizzed). Your cursor is a plain pixelated black/clear square that blinks to let you know where you are typing, green background to provide a good contrast to see what is on the screen, and your usual plain lettering and numbers. But what makes this a 10 rating is that they replicated music qualities into the composition area of the game. The accuracy of the notes (You can tell the difference between an eighth note and a sixteenth note), the key signatures, and the diagram of a piano keyboard at the bottom of the screen was well displayed. All the other games of the Sega SC-3000 do have the exact same graphics (again of the ones on Vizzed) but this one has impressive pixel accuracy.Sound~ They put 2 different ways of playing piano and 1 organ sound in the instrument selection. Though not accurate to how they sound in real life, the instruments are distinct enough from each other so you can tell the difference between them. The introductory page theme song is some what cutesy but rather short for it is the only theme song for the whole game. I did not mind the constant beep sound that comes from every move you make in the game (typing, moving the cursor around, picking notes, Etc.). But I would not be surprised if most of you mute the game until you got to the composition part of the game and so for that reason alone I rated a 9.Addictiveness~ Though you can create songs in this game, you are limited in many ways on how you can go about doing that and the extent you can compose. I believe it will only let you compose two measures of music in 4/4 time. So this game is only good for creating short abrupt tunes. You are only given 3 instruments to work with and you can't mix and match instruments for you can only use one at a time. Also you are only given a small range of pitches to work with (1-2 octaves at the most) For someone who is really interested in music this might keep... Read the rest of this Review
Great Waldo Search

An ok to not so great game
Game wasn't very hard. The list of things you look for is limited to wizard white beards scroll and Waldo himself, but the last level/challenge level has you search for Waldo with a red and white stripped sock in addition to the scroll which is the hardest challenge in the game. So that explains the difficulty (though on expert mode it up-ed the difficulty a bit but not by much. Just adding side search objectives when you collected specific extra time clocks and made the Spot bonus points game much more difficult).

The depth of the game is very shallow, It would have helped if they added more of the objects that you would usually have to find in the Where's Waldo books and also if they included more scenes from the book to lengthen the play time.

It doesn't explain the story, but from what the final score screen says at the end of the regular game mode, the story is that Wizard White Beard lost five of his magic scrolls while he was traveling through time and you have to go help Waldo find them. So the Story is just as shallow as the depth.

It's not that addictive as it is a few minutes time waster. Sure addictive on Vizzed to get the highest score but the game by itself is what I rated it on and without vizzed its not addictive.

The music was ok if not irritating at the least. The shortness of the game music make them loop around a lot more constantly than the average game. You don't miss out on anything if you play this without sound.

Graphics on he other hand was pretty good. The animation of the main game characters were just a bit off but accurate enough to where I recognised them. The background scenes were very fun bringing the still pages of the book too life with  movement on some of the background scenes (this also kind of made it distracting and harder to find objects and extra time).

Overall not a game I would play over and over and over (probably only once every great long while) though quite f... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Stadium

Based on gameplay thru N64
Although Pokemon Stadium has flaws when played thru Vizzed, it is not fair to give Pokemon Stadium a lower rating because this is not the real deal (should be rated based on the real Pokemon Stadium gameplay on the Nintendo 64) Very good game play. Can get repetitive at times but can also be addicting. I personally experimented with beating all the gym leaders and tournaments using only pokemon of same evolve forms (example: Charmander, Charmeleon, Charazard) and that kept me interested in experimenting with game play. Genius feature of being able to trade back and forth pokemon from the gameboy versions to Pokemon Stadium.
