Candy Crush Saga Review by: zanderlex - 8.2/10
I Crush You With My Sweet Tooth of DeathJust like Angry Birds, just like Temple Run, and just like Flappy Birds, it was only a matter of time before I reviewed them and the same goes for this classic. I remember back when Candy Crush Saga first came out and people were super addicted to it, and there still are. I just couldn't find what was so entertaining about this game until I tried it for myself on the computer and I likes it, but not to the extent that others have. I do agree the game is a lot of fun to play but not to waste away so many hours of your life.
GRAPHICS 8/10
The graphics are really good, especially when you are talking about these kinds of puzzle games. In fact, you could say that the graphics are so good that you could eat them. But I wouldn't try it, might get sick in the end. What I mean is that the candy and the board is full of color and, excuse the pun, but its eye candy. The game is very fun to look at with its blend of colors and different adt styles. I really like the way that this game looks and for that my grade will be an 8 out of 10.
SOUND 8/10
Honestly I would say that the sound is one of the best aspects of the game, and I mean that for both the music and regular sounds. You have a song that plays while you play and not only is it good, but its very catchy and I could probably find myself nodding my head to the music at times. The sounds are just as fun to listen to because they set up the mood for the game and make it a lot more fun and also in my opinion they give the game more of a comedic style. For that, my grade for this aspect will be another 8 out of 10.
ADDICTIVENESS 10/10
I really don't know why this game is so addicting. I don't find this game as addicting as some other people I know do but I still manages to get a good couple hours out of it and by that I mean a few dozen hours at the least. Its pretty much the same as any matching game, but I guess using candy instead of gems or tiles makes the game more fun. I won't like though, the game is fun and its worth playing many many rounds in one sitting and for that my addictiveness grade is going to be a perfect 10 out of 10.
STORY N/A
There's pretty much no story at all with this game aside for trying to complete each level, and that's all there is so I can't give this aspect a grade.
DEPTH 8/10
I have not been able to experience a lot of the depth, but I know there's a lot because of the number of stories that I have been told in the past by people I know. The biggest part of the depth would be the number of levels that the game has. I never made it far in the game, probably never even made it past level 30 but people I know who say that they are very addicted would tell stories and brag about how they passed level 100. If this game has that many levels, then it has no reason not to get a good grade. The rest of the game does have a few cool features but I wouldn't say that they have much of an impact and my grade for depth will be an 8 out of 10.
DIFFICULTY 3
At times the game can be pretty hard. I'll admit, I got stuck a few times during the early levels and had quite a few troubles but that's what you are to expect because this is a puzzle game after all and these kinds of games are meant to teat you. I didn't really pass my test though, the game got the best of me. I didn't make it past level 30 or so because I got bored or because I didn't play long enough, but because it got too hard for me. There's no real practice you can do to get good at this game, but as you play it more, you get a better feel for how the game plays and that's all you need to do so overall the game is really pretty easy and as for a grade it gets a 3.

Overall, I likes this game. I know there's going to be plenty of people who are die hard fans and are going to say this is the best game they ever played, but I don't think this game is THAT good, but it is really good, especially when it comes to the sounds which is my favorite aspect of the game. You probably already played it, but if you haven't boarded the candy train yet then I suggest that you test it out, but in moderation only, we don't want you getting some sort of a sweet tooth like the addicts. My overall grade for Candy Crush Saga will be an 8.2 out of 10.
