Onimusha Warlords Review
Onimusha Warlords Review
I remember playing this game when I was really young. I liked it a lot since it was well a Japanese sort of game. I don't know how my brother came across it at first. Since he borrowed it from a friend. I first watch him play the game. Then I decided to try it out for myself and absolutely loved it. :)

Story 8 out of 10: The game's story is set in the Sengoku period meaning then there is a lot of war and politics going on. The main person and the story focuses on is a samurai called Samanosuke Akechi who fights against the forces of Nobunaga Oda. After Nobunaga's death in battle Samanosuke goes on a quest to save Princess Yuki from demons working alongside Nobunaga's forces. You can control Samanosuke and his partner, a female ninja called Kaede in their fight against demons.

Graphics 8 out of 10: Its like the graphics of when you play resident evil games. Since in a way it borrows its elements and you will see from that if you have played the game or plan to. I like how the graphics are when you beat up enemies and how they die in a way or when you get to a certain place to collect objects or touch things its very different to others I have come across.

Sound 7 out of 10: How can I describe this? The music is rather quite and based on like the type of quite Japanese music that would be morely focused on from its time. There will be some like loud music's but that wouldn't happen not unless you go into a battle of a wild demon enemy or the boss fights. They are good to listen too since they are pretty much based on some traditional Japanese music.

Addictiveness 7 out of 10: It actually depends. I wouldn't say it’s the most addictive game in the world, but there is some addictiveness to it. I would say because of mostly how the gameplay has been portrayed in the game and what it is like to be. Like the puzzles if you like puzzle games people who do will tend to play the game over and over again because if that specific part.

Depth 7 out of 10: There are some depth to this game but not much. This game is actually a puzzle games so you will come to sealed room doors and the only way to unlock them is to use a special weapon of a kind to open them. But that would be hard because you will have to get to some area parts to unlock those doors. There is something you need to know within the game. Samanosuke can gain three elemental weapons called Raizan, Enryuu and Shippuu each with an elemental magic attack. As you normally beat down enemies and when they are defeated. They will release different coloured souls that can be absorbed by using the a device called *demon gauntlet* on Samanosuke's wrist the red souls act as *currency* in so which can be used to upgrade weapons. Yellow souls can help recover health, while blue souls recover magic power which is used to perform each weapon's elemental abilities.

Difficulty 8 out of 10: Its hard on some levels but I would say since it’s a puzzle game a whole it would still be hard anyway to progress more into the story. Enemies will get stronger in time and harder to beat. So then you will need to upgrade Samanosuke a lot so that he is not under leveled and struggling facing against the demons.

Overall 8.9: It’s a good game to play. But it depends if this is the game for you. I do recommend for you to try out though and see what you gain from experiencing from this game. I would say...if you like games such as resident evil or parasite eve then try this game since they are both similar to it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this review. I will be back with another so until then from me. :)
