Champions: Return to Arms Review by: Eniitan - 8.9/10
Champions Of Norrath Return To Arms ReviewChampions Of Norrath Return To Arms Review Hi everyone, I am back with another review as said which would be soon. And it is soon. Here is another ps2 game I like to play. So I hope reading this review would urge your sparks or interest to try and play the game. Considering I did a review on the first game. And so this is the sequel to that game. :)
Story 7 out of 10: Well the story in this game is quite different. This game was made after the first one which was champions of norrath realms of everquest. Its still has that medieval feel to it as it is a medieval game. Now in this game. The story picks up after Innoruuk, the Prince of Hate has been defeated which you did at the end. You actually have a choice to fight for either good. Or for the evil side. I find this interesting concept considering you can see how it will play. The evil side are trying to regain the lost shards to resurrect him. You can either help being evil by doing that. Or stop the evil legion from trying to bring him back to life for good. The choice is yours.
Graphics 8 out of 10: There are some changes within the graphics. And I like how they did it. Making it a little different from in the first game. And adding a few features in a way. The scenery is really beautiful to look at when it says loading game. Which is pretty new. So its actually always nice to look at and also to mention cool to look at.
Sound 7 out of 10: There has been some sound changes. Its pretty good. But still similar to the first one in a way. Like they would tend to play some over and over again when in that area. While in some areas there are some or most different music. The boss music is very different in this one I felt even more tense. But that’s really good its something you need to feel when you are facing a boss.
Addictiveness 8 out of 10: Yep addictive very addictive if it still has the feel from the first game. Then for the second it would be better.
Depth: its still the same as the other first game depth wise. You will be asked to do quest by people before being able to further into the story. And tackle unusual ones as well. I played one usual level and I have to say I was surprised but also laughing as well. Well....mainly for the fact of the enemies I was facing you were trying to block my path of moving forward. So it will take time to complete the game. But also it will depend on how many hours a day you play the game.
Difficulty 8 out of 10: It’s the same as before when you start a new game. With adventurous as beginner, courageous as medium, champion as hard and legendary as really really extra hard. So I recommend you to play as beginner first. Not unless you're a real expert on the game then you can go and start as a higher level.
Overall 8.9: It’s a really great game to play I really recommend you to try it out for yourself to see. Its real good fun and also you will enjoy yourself. That would be If you like it or not once you have tried it out.
And that’s the end of my review for now! I'll get another one up very soon or when I can. ^-^
