Skin Deep Description: The Defenders of the Realm hit New Guinea after detecting a troubling energy signal. They wind up near an ancient and Rain. It turns out that Rain and Kitana go back a long way, and he now wants to help in the battle against Shao Kahn. Additionally, the temple houses a powerful weapon – one that Rain says Shao Khan wants. As the team gets to work, Liu Kang notices just how close Kitana and Rain are. He is quite suspicious of Rain, but the others think that is just jealousy. Unfortunately for them and especially Kitana, Liu Kang has good reason to feel this way.
