Pokemon Fiery Challenge Beta 1.0 Game Description

• The hack is only about 60% complete, however it's playable. I've done loads of edits, and increased levels, the hack is a real challenge, but nothing impossible. (Yes, I've returned, Please make a review or leave a comment of what needs to be done and edited for the next release. I want the next release just as much as you do, and to have it done perfect, I'll need your help with ideas.)

FireRed Edits:

• Gym Leaders, Gym Trainers, Your Rival, and Giovanni, and E4 have increased levels, more pokemon, and higher AI level, to make the game a bit more challenging. Cash was upped, so you earn more. The Gym leaders AI level was increased from 100 to 250 (Which is the same AI level as the Elite Four). It will be challenging.
• E4 Normal Run and Rematches have been increased by 10 levels.
Example, If Gyradose was level 54, it's now 64. And if the rematch was 64. It is now 74. Expect a challenge.

New moves via leveling, or Hm's:

• Pikachu can now learn the HM Surf. Replaced Lv 50 Scary face with Volt Tackle.
• Alakazam can now learn shadowball.
• Zangoose has several changes, new moves, and new pokedex entry.
• Several Pokemon had their pokedex changed, e.g. Magikarp, Tentacool, Zubat. Etc.

Small Edits:

• I gave Misty a Psyduck, just for the heck of it.

Shop Edits:

• Celadon shops been edited, The TM Shop has been replaced with TM 02, TM 24, TM 25, TM 26, TM 29, & TM 50.
• Added a pokeball only shop. Masterball, Ultra Ball, Net, Safari, Repeat, Timer, & Luxary.
• Vitamins price have been cut in half. 4900 each.
• I also added Sun stone and moon stone, to the stone shop.
• Masterballs, Rare candies & PPMax is now obtainable.
• Masterball Price - 12000, Rare candies - 5000, PPMAX - 8000.
• Pokemon League item shop was modified slightly. (PPMAX & Rare Candy Added)

Legendaries: All legendary pokemon that you originally can get in fire red are still available however, this is a beta. When the next release comes out, all legendary pokemon will be obtainable. I'm not sure exactly where but when the next release is out, I'll inform you.

Buying tickets to go to islands are NOT available in this release.

 Oh and can you make it easier for our starters to gain EXP. faster? You can use YAPE for it or something else that has growth rate and set it to 1,059,860 so it can level up like a regular starter

 Its in processes, im using a lot of the ideas you're all suggesting and noting them down. I might release a beta version 2 b4 the final. maybe in april/may. busy this month with birthdays :P

 not really a high price at all. less than a vitamin, and with the vs seeker, money is basically infinite... aslo with the nugget bridge glitch you can get as many nuggets as you are want so that also makes money very easy to get, even early game

 I was pretty certain I added the legendaries to altering cave for the beta, but I suppose I didn't but don't fear, the final release will have that fixed.

 So it shouldn't make the game much easier than it should. It's mostly added for after the game to have fun, because usually after you beat the game, you get bored rather quickly.

 I'm currently working on the final release, all the legendaries from gen 1-3 has been added, all the starters, i'm still working on adding all the other pokemon too. Rare candies, and ppmax was added to the game for an extremely high price.

 The only way I could see making a pokemon game actually challenging, would be to limit the number of wild encounters some how, so that you couldnt just grind 20,30 or even more levels before a tough gym. Then you would have to use skill and knowledge,

 I find something that just takes a little more time as not challenging, but making it harder, like how you said you increased the AI that would make it more challenging but still nothing a bit of a grind couldnt take care of

 pokemon is never a challenge (95% of rpgs are never challenging)... It is, has, and always will be grinding. Some people just add more grinding and call it a challenge

 Grinding=/=challenge Challenge = strategy and thinking. Grinding= mindless and boring. Its the difference between a korean morpg and a brilliant game
