Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga Plus is meant to show some of the basic things that can be done with Yoshi Magic (in accordance with some HEX editing). In more general standards, the stats in Superstar Saga+ are all-around bigger, and more balanced than those in the original game. Please note that all the enemies' stats were designed based on the assumption that the player would fight every group of enemies in the game (save for those in Beanbean Castle Outskirts) exactly once, and obtain the Bonus Ring at the earliest possible time. If you do not do one or both of these in your playthrough, do not be surprised if the game becomes unplayably difficult at some point or another.

Features:

- New and improved items! Fewer cheap double-healers, no max or half-max healing items!
- New equipment, now with stats ranging up to the triple-digits! Note that every boss after Mom Piranha has a secret gear/badge, so make sure to get them!
- The shops have been redone.
- Item Blocks and Beans have been redone. Obvious bean spots now produce Woo Beans, whereas ones that aren't clearly marked give Chuckle Beans. Likewise, visible bean blocks produce Hee Beans, and invisible ones Hoo Beans. Note that if a Chuckle Bean seems to be missing, it's probably because it's been replaced with an invisible Hoo Bean block.
- Bros. attacks now take more BP to use, and require more iterations for Advanced commands. STACHE discounts are altered a bit as well.
- Luigi now comes up with all four of his attacks' Advanced commands, not just Cyclone Bros.
- Enemies' stats have been changed to reflect the new Bros.' stats, and a few battle setups are tweaked as well.
- Item rewards are modified.
- No more Mush Badge cheapness in the final battle with Cackletta. How much HP does it have? You'll have to play to find out!
