This hack is meant to serve as a second quest to “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.” The dungeons have detours, rearranged items, and tougher enemies. The difficulty level for this hack is intermediate much like the difficulty in the Master Quest for Ocarina of Time.

Various gameplay improvements and bug fixes have been added as well.

Improvements:

• Improved Pegasus boots, turn while running
• Break pots with sword
• Collect items with sword
• Cancel flute transport
• Death counter no longer increments when selecting “Save and Quit”

Bugfixes:

• Kholdstare shell fade re-enabled
• Mothula invincibility to L4 sword fixed
• Glove palette when switching to map fixed
• Shield palette when retrieved from pikit killed with ether fixed
• Various flickering issues fixed
• Cane of Somaria glitches fixed
• Magic cape statue pulling glitch fixed

Disclaimer: This hack is meant to replicate the same approach Nintendo took with the Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time. If you’re expecting a modified overworld and/or brand new dungeons, then this probably isn’t the hack for you.
