Simpsons Taxi Harley3651
Do you like Crazy Taxi? Do you like The Simpsons? If you answered yes to both of those questions then do I have the game for you. Released on the Game Boy Advance on June 30, 2006. The game was created and developed by Altron and the now defunct THQ. So is the game worth trying? Well maybe. If your looking for a yes or a no then maybe my review of The Simpsons Hit and Run will make that decision for you. Here is my thoughts on The Simpsons Hit and Run. Graphics 8: Given the fact that the Game Boy Advance ran on hardware similar to the Super Nintendo the game looks real good. character is very well drawn and detailed. Its as if they pulled the characters from the show and put them in the game. Had a tough time focusing on the game itself cause I was to busy admiring the graphics. In fact the game still hold up well cause of the graphics. Sound 9: Though not perfect in the sound department, the quality is really good. It does have a few muffled sound bites here and there. But for the most part the game is a real joy to listen to. Not once did I feel I had to mute the volume cause of bad sound design. Addictiveness 3: Unlike its Counterpart Crazy Taxi (which this game is based on) Hit and Run is just not all that addictive to play. It's a fun game but once you unlock everything there is no need to go back and play it anymore. Story 2: Mr. Burns is up to his greedy ways in Simpsons Road Rage, purchasing Springfield's busses and jacking up the fares. Now, Springfield residents must turn their cars into cabs and work the streets. Hopefully, making enough money to buy back the busses before the clock runs out. Choose from over 30 of your favorite Simpsons characters and brave the jam-packed streets of six huge levels, performing big-air and powerslide stunts. Compete for passengers in two-player, split screen action. Go on a road rage, Simpsons-style. Yeah its a piss poor story.
Depth 1: The game is basically Crazy Taxi slapped with The Simpsons skin. You drive around and take people from point A to point B and collect money based on how well you drive. Doesn't take long to beat nor doe it have a lot to offer. It is sad cause what it does offer is pretty fun.
Difficulty 1:The game is easy. Like Crazy Taxi levels of easy. Not to say its a bad game. I'm just saying its real easy to play through. Overall 3.4 Throughout my review I made comparisions to Crazy Taxi. While it does I cant really recommend it. All the game is a rip-off of Crazy Taxi. Hit and run does what Crazy Taxi does but worse.Final Thoughts: If you like The Simpsons or Crazy Taxi then you might like this game. For everyone else your better off playing something else.

Must try for GBA Anim8r
Graphics- These graphics are unique. ''Anim8r how are they unique?" you ask. This game has graphics that few games had on the GBA at this time they are 2d graphics that give off the illusion of 3d, you could compare it to Doom. They do a very good job at giving of these illusions even when your car charges near someone instead of making the car go through that person they throw an animation that makes them jump out of the way. I could complain about a lack of detail, but I won't because the world that I played was huge for any game I could play on GBA and there are many maps.
Sound- The sound on this game is very bright and helps you get more immersed into the game. The music is the type of music that would make you smile while playing the game and blends in perfectly with the sound effects. Vehicles have different sounds aren't really recycled as much as you would see in other games.
Addictiveness- I could play this game for a long time, the ratings provoke you to keep playing until you improve them, and the time limit makes it intense. Being cartoonish and bright this game doesn't get that boring to look at, so you look forward to the next time you play it.
Story- No Story just beat the time limit, while being, or picking up your favorite Simpsons characters.
Depth- Like said before the maps are big. (or give the illusion of being big.) They're are many maps. Signs and destinations are recycled and can sometimes confuse you on where to go. They give you challenges for every passenger you pick up.
Difficulty- Easy to learn, but takes a while to improve your time not too hard, but hard enough to strive for.
