Hard game but very good ljames875
Splatterhouse 3.... I love it, it's very hard though even on easy mode, that's my main issue, the graphics are great and very detailed for a sega genesis game, now I've never owned it myself but from this website I've played the others in the series and they are all good, this one here has a more in depth story, you have to use the evil mask to save your wife and child from the evils that have filled your house...
The map is easy to use but difficult to find the fastest easiest route to your destination I found myself almost running out of time on a few occasions because I got caught up in fighting hard enemies as well as trying to dodge flying crap in rooms that had no enemies the bosses are pretty difficult but easy once you figure out their pattern
I love it how the game awards you if you complete a level early it sends you to the mysterious stage X where it gives you a chance to pick some stuff up like orbs, hearts and extra lives
Even on easy mode this game is hard but it's the difficulty that makes it fun, only other issue is that it's very hard to figure out the special moves like the Monster Rick spike move and the spinning roundhouse kick
All in all classic game great graphics, the music is creepy but slightly annoying and repetitive, I recommend this game to anyone who likes beat em ups
