Sonic Zeta Overdrive darklink10904651
Sonic Zeta Overdrive brings a few new things to the table,so lets cover those first.
This game is a hack of sonic 2. It alters the level layouts a bit,and changes the pallets too. All of the zones have been re-named as well. The one new thing that interested me about this game is the new character they added to the game, Bean the dynamite. He originates from the game "Sonic the fighters" and hasn't been in another game since. You can find the game on here if you search it up.
Bean is no different than sonic, other than an instant spin dash that launches you forward with just a push of a button. Its helpful, but nothing else is different,so its really just a sonic clone. The sprites for him are unfinished as well.
The story is exactly the same as it always is, Dr. Egg man is trying to take over the planet using small animals of the island to fuel his robot army. Sonic and Tails catch wind of this and go to stop him.
Overall,I've played better, and there isn't much appeal to playing this game beyond the first level. The first level is a major change, and it feels like a new level, but everything beyond that is really just a slight level edit. Its worth a try,but I wouldn't want to play it again. I also encountered a rare glitch where my collision was off,and I couldn't jump on springs. I'm not sure how I triggered it though.
