Siriusly? Not another Sirius Mario Bros rom hack review. But I mean, there are 6 in the series. This may or may not be as in depth as the other one was (I am talking about the fifth one here.) I do plan to try to make a review of every game in a series one day. This is the second one in the series. Is it as good as the fifth one or does it decrease over time? Read on to find out if that is the case. This is the second Sirius Mario Bros.
Graphics 9/10
The graphics in this game are basically the graphics from the original game. Except there is a slightly new block and acts like a vine (yes there are still vines.) As I stated in my review on Sirius Mario Bros 5 there are lots of glitches where you can easily walk through things. Theres this glitch where you press down and jump and land on top of a block. If there is a space and a block on up of that and you are not small mario this is what will happen [img]http://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/user_screenshots/saves41/413524/NES--Sirius%20Mario%20Bros%202_Aug23%203_48_40.png[/img]. And you will be moved out by default. This can be bypassed if it is done by a platform. (I know this because I found out about it on Sirius Mario Bros 5.)

All I can say about this is the fact if you play this game you won't want to mute the music in this game as much as you would like to mute it in Sirius Mario Bros 5.
Gameplay 6/10
I can practically only say the same thing for each Super Mario Bros game that is like this. The controls are the same as the ones for Super Mario Bros but the z key (the key to speed up) is one of the most important things to remember if you would like to glitch in this game. The only other major control for glitching is the x key. This key allows you to hop off vines and sometimes you will end up in a block. Some of the no clipping glitches will require you to jump. Some will require you to press the down key and jump. The down key is also important in glitching in this game. Also: I strongly suggest that you stay with the default keys and not try to change them up. Most of the time when you actually think it will make the game easier it actually only makes the game harder. Z is also the key to throw fireballs.
Addictiveness 10/10
If you completed every level one by one of this game. I have something to tell you. There are warp pipes in this game. I do plan to tell you how to get the 1-2 warp pipes and the 4-2 warp pipes. But the 4-2 warp pipes may be a bit hard for me to explain.
1-2 Warp Pipe: At the end of the cave there is a pipe there and blue blocks above it (the pipe I am talking about here leads you to the exit) there is an invisible coin block near it. This will allow you to break the bricks and get on top of the bricks/blocks. Run and jump over where you made the destruction and there will be 3 normal size pipes with piranha plants coming out of them. That is the right place. Fall down from where you are to the floor of it. These three pipes respectively take you to world 4, 3 and 2. 2 is the closest to you and 4 is the furthest from you when you land.
Now I will try to explain the 4-2 warp pipes. Not long after starting the level there will be blue blocks and no roof (more blue blocks) one of the blocks can be broken but the other one requires great skill because if you do it wrong you hit an invisible coin block. You can't hit this block like you would with a normal block. You can't hit it directly in the centre. You have to hit it off to the side a little bit. If you do it right you will see a vine. You will have a fair bit of work to do after you climb the vine. There is a -1 level. These pipes respectively are -1, world 7 and world 8.
Story 3/10
The story in this game is the same old same old how that Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach and you have to rescue her.
Depth 6/10
The last world only has one slow level. That is the water level. Else wise you can speed through 8-2 with a secret. (I completed it in 120 game time.) The slowest level is -1. (can it even be considered a level I mean you can't finish it because you do get stuck in the level after a while.) This game should take around an hour to beat at tops.
Difficulty 6/10
For me this game is not that difficult. The only parts of this game that were difficult for me was the water level and trying to get the vine to appear at 4-2. I mean in the water level there was absolutely nothing you were allowed to hit or else you would you know..... lose your power up.
Overall 7.8/10
If you are not so good at Mario then this is the game I suggest that you play. But there will be invisible blocks to work against you some of the times but the other times its probably there to try to help you in some way.
