Alright Pokémon PRISM.This game was one of the best Pokémon hacks I have personally ever lay ed my eyes upon.Ever since brown the first ever hack koolboyman ever made people were craving for his next hack.And, he thought up of this masterpiece.Gotta hand it to Koolboyman for thinking up such a great storyline new evil team, and not to mention new and very catchy pieces of music in this game.Now on to my real review.
1.GRAPHICS:The graphics in this game were great for me.Even though it is a hack of Pokémon gold and you know that the graphics in gold weren't all that great but hey koolboyman couldn't think up of everything.But, there were still a lot of new areas that koolboyman designed himself that looked pretty great.But, anyways the graphics were still pretty good coming from prism so the graphics receive a MARK OF .... 8.
2.SOUND:The sound in this game was great,even awesome.I liked almost all the sound pieces that he Koolboyman thought up of.And, remixed I loved it especially the mart music that is some really catchy and random but fun music to listen to.There are countless other tracks that I could describe but sadly I don't want you guys to hear me talk on and on about his music so I'll cut to the chase sound was beautiful deserves a HUGE WHOPPING MARK OF 10.
3.ADDICTIVENESS:This game's addictiveness level was really high.Since the game took place in an all new region and place.So of course people would be addicted to find out what would happen next in a new rejoin that wasn;t featured in any other hack.I however found this game extremely addicting it was a great game and, when I figured out this game was only a beta I was surprised because I really wanted to relive that full gaming experience but beta or no beta this game was addictive.So addictiveness receives a Really WHoPPinG MaRK of 10
4.STORY:The story was great and really unexpected you have to really kinda fend for yourself in this game but still it is a great storyline and a really unique kind of storyline to.I thought the story was really random as is all of the aspects of the game were pretty random too but still this game had a great storyline and made me come back for more.So the story receives a BIG OR not so big (no really it is a big mark)of 10.
5.DEPTH:Well not much to say here about depth.It is just a beta but still for a beta the game was lengthy enough to figure out who I am and who my rival was and which evil team I was facing.SO depth receives an alright mark of 6.
6.DIFFICULTY:And, last but not least difficulty.....The difficulty in this game was again pretty easy.But I'm sure in the next beta(hopefully it's a finished beta)the game will be pretty tough but for now this beta of Pokémon prism receives a mark of 6.

A great hack of a great game! Sephirothxxxxxx..
Where do I start with this game? How about I start by saying it's one of THE BEST HACKS I'VE EVER PLAYED! Thanks to Koolboyman, the creator, for creating this hack out of an already awesome game. Pokemon Prism features all new music, all new towns, a completely revised story, and so much more. The game greatly differs from it's base, pokemon Gold, in ways that I never really imagined. It features fun things like mining and sewing to keep the game interesting long after you've beaten it. Koolboyman even went to adding a special screen for when you read signs. The game not only features a new story and such, but even pokemon from newer games. I don't want to get to far into it and spoil it, so I'll leave seeing the new pokemon to you. The game poses a more difficult style of gameplay than that of most other hacks, as well as official pokemon games. It has situations that require that you make use of the new features as well as a series of side quests that involve the use of your pokemon instead of the trainer.The game is still in Beta, so expect to see some minor glitches or some places you may not be able to reach yet, but it's still insanely fun. The game has all of the strategic elements of a real pokemon game, plus those annoying puzzling parts that make the game all the more fun. I recommend this game to anyone ho is really into pokemon, as it isn't the easiest game.... seriously check it out if you haven't already!

Amazing game! TheVoid619
This was a fantastic and fun sequel to the Pokémon Brown hack, which is my favorite hack to date. The only problem that I've found with this hack is that its a little linear, but this is remedied by the fact that the game doesn't quite hold your hand the entire time. I spent about a total of 20 or 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do throughout the game. There are a ton of side quests and a nice assortment of Pokémon from generations 1 through 4. Had this been the full version and not such a small beta, this would easily have gotten a 10.
Graphics: The game used the Pokémon gold engine and most of its tiles. There were, however, some custom tiles and I felt they were done professionally. As for the Pokémon, I enjoyed most, if not all, of the custom sprites that I saw. Granted a few had a few minor coloring issues, but they weren't bad enough to knock this down. The only problem is that a few trees were missing bottoms, which knocks the score down to an 8.
Sound: Due to problems with my computers speakers, I play all games without sound so I cannot rate this.
Addictiveness: I will definitely play this again as soon as the full version, and perhaps each beta, is released. The Pokémon were fun, the game play was nostalgic, and the customs were great and blended extremely well. Any fan of the non-hand holding Pokémon games will love this just as much as I did. 10/10
Story: As far as I could tell, there wasn't much of a story. However, most Pokémon games don't really push a story until much later than two or three badges in, which is where the beta stops. I couldn't score this.
Difficulty: I didn't find any of the battles to be hard. Due to being a picky player and wanting to use things I rarely use in other games, I tend to only have a small team at any given time. The difficulty was increased due to the new mechanic of having Pokémon types used for field effects, not just HMs. Aside from that, the difficulty wasn't much at all.

How Great Is This Game!! supercool22
Pokémon Prism is a good game but I stopped playing . The Pokémon you start with is a Larvitar but in this Pokémon game no one gives you the Larvitar you will find it in a cave.When you get out of the cave you will be at a town which it snows all of the time. You are able to get all of the Johto starters Chikorita , Cyndaquil and Totodile but I only have Cyndaquil because I don't know where the others were.There is one area where only Pokémon could go , in that area you could be a the first Pokémon in your party . This area I'm stuck I have no idea how complete this area because you need find a scientist and I don't Know he is. SO have fun playing and if your where I'm at just ask someone for help.

Now, to start this off... people please remember this is a Pokemon GOLD hack. And in case you don't know, these graphics are FAR, FAR superior to many other GBC hacks I've seen. Kthx.
Now, I must admit I was very surprised. I liked Brown and was expecting somthing similar but.... this si above and beyond. Lots of replay value, that board game thing, etc. Ability to change skins (brilliant idea.) Running shoes ina second gen game... awesome. The story is brand new, with little to no missing links. My only complaint is the difficulty... Its quite easy..... But overall... all i can say is Gold, Silver- Masterpieces. This hack can be calle a masterpiece too.

I didn't actually like this game as much as I thought I would from reading the previous reviews.
First of all I don't understand the whole cave thing at the beginning of the game and secondly Lavitar as a starter Pokémon? Really? Two annoying things that turned me off the game from the get go was: The PP of moves runs out really quickly. Also Larvitar takes forever to level up. I went through all my PP and I'd only leveled up once.
Still being fair I have to give it to Koolboyman. He put a lot of time and effort into making this game and there is loads to do but personally this isn't one for me
