Pokemon Leafgreen Reborn marcus047
Game background- Well this is a hack of Pokémon Leafgreen.
I beat through some of
it but over all this is not one of the best hacks of Pokémon on here, and die
hard fans would most likely despise this game. I didn't like this 1.) Because the starters move sets idea was very unappealing and undesirable(they have 1 hit K.O. Moves but some Pokémon are unaffected by them).
2.) Navigating through this game was a pain and made no sense what so
ever and mew will not listen to you even after you get badges. 3.) Getting
through the cave linking the 3rd gym town to the town above pallet town was
filled with Pokémon that all out level yours and it's the only route you can take. Also the Pokémon seem to carry random item's that really make no sense like for an example some of my Pokémon carries mach bikes, rainbow pass, master ball, and town map etc. Pokémon move sets, abilities and locations were changed in this hack as well as what type they are affected by. Overall if you were looking for a more serious hack to play were it challenges your skills as a trainer and pushes you to train hard with many hours of game play, well this is not a hack meant for you. This hack I feel was meant for the not so serious trainers that don't want a seriously difficult hack and would rather have a more relaxed hack that you can breeze through easily.Graphics- The graphics are spot on, they are exactly what you would expect from regular leafgreen, no freezes or distortions of any kind. The Pokémon look like exactly like what they are suppose to be (physically wise). The games layout(area wise) was changed a bit from regular leafgreen but the over all the design is the same. There are no pixel distortions what so ever. So for graphics I gave this hack a 10 out of 10.Sound- Well the hack stays true to regular Pokémon leafgreen, it plays the exact same sound track from/heard in Pokémon leafgreen. It's pitch and acoustics as well as base are on point with no distortions. No Pokémon battle cries were changed nor alternated in anyway. So for sound I gave this hack a 10 out of 10.Addictiveness- Well me personally, the changes of me replaying this game is slim to none. I say this because it just wasn't very difficult to me. The legendary Pokémon were easy to obtain and could be found in pretty common area's early on in the game. Also it wasn't very addicting because I wasn't very found of the items or move set the Pokémon have, for example Pokémon had 1 hit K.O. Moves but they were ineffective on most Pokémon thus making those 1 hit K.O. Moves useless to have. In addiction I also wasn't found of game layout, the extra area's that were added on, it only made navigation threw-out the game a pain. So for addictiveness I gave the game a 3 out of 10.Story- The story stayed true to the original Pokémon leafgreen, nothing was really changed there. There are basically no dialog changes in the hack, the characters would say what they normally would. So for story I gave the hack a 10 out of 10.Depth-The hack does take a considerable amount of time to beat all the way(beating the elite 4 and all 8 gyms). The hack offers the people who aren't very serious nor competitive about Pokémon, a chance to play a more less competitive Pokémon game that's easier to beat with virtually no challenge. So for depth I gave the hack a 7 out of 10.Difficulty-It wasn't very difficult to me personally mainly because in Tyranitor's cave I caught a lv 29 Tyranitor before I even got a badge so basically the game was a breeze. Another thing that made the game pretty easy was the fact the A.I. Is still brainless and makes constant mistakes in it's battle strategy's. And on top of that Pokémon had 1 hit K.O. Moves from the start with extra pp on the moves so that also contributed to it's low difficulty, but what really made this hack harder than most was its map navigation threw it was difficult. So for difficulty I gave the hack a 5 out of 10.Overall- Overall I gave the hack a 7.5 out of 10, because there were to many changes that were just upsetting and didn't boost the morale for the player to actually play the hack(in my opinion).

Easy but All Right Anime Heart
Right. So, I just beat the game right now and I'd like to point out a few things to anyone who has the time to bother to read this. :P Anyways, it was pretty fun and all; just easy. so here goes.
Overall: The game was WAY too easy, since you get a level 100 legendary starter. Other than that, it's pretty good. It includes Johto and Hoenn Pokemon, but I'd recommend not wasting your time to get them unless they're fully evolve (Metagross, Tyranitar, etc.) because you can't evolve them until you get the National Dex. Another thing is that the stores sell Revives and Full Restores for way less. I guess that's all right, but it makes it easier than it already is. Okay, and Pokemon are holding Master Balls, which is kind of cheap. :P There are new moves as well which are pretty cheap, too. Dragon Slash replaced Dragon Claw and Hyper Blast replaced Hyper Beam. They're supposed to be a One-hit KO that never misses, but it never works with me. When the Elite Four used it on me, though, they killed me. Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, and Frenzy Plant are also One-hit KO's. I personally don't enjoy that. -.- Heh, heh. But a good thing is that you can continue after the Elite Four to the Sevii Islands and Mewtwo's Cave. Wazzah!
Graphics: A normal FireRed/LeafGreen graphical game. :)
Sound: I didn't listen to the sound while I played it, but I suppose it's the same as FireRed/LeafGreen too.
Addictiveness: It was pretty fun, since there were Johto and Hoenn Pokemon, but since it was so easy, the addictiveness level went down a bit. It was not that bad, though. :)
Story: Same as the FireRed/LeafGreen. Oh, and I forgot to mention in the Overall part that you can get to Vermillion City right away from Viridian, since the Cut trees were moved. And the Snorlax blocking Lavender Town was moved, too. It's kind of cheap, again, but all right.
Depth: Meh. It's okay, though I personally didn't like ALL the changes.
Difficulty: Heh, heh. I would've called it a 1 if it hadn't been for the Elite Four. Their Pokemon know the One-hit KO moves that, like, never miss, so you kind of die all the time unless you have your legendary starter and you can kill them before they kill you.
So, good game, but too easy. :P Overall, I rate it a 8.8

Pokemon Leaf Reborn Woodenfan
First things first: This game has consistency like tar. Seriously. The National Dex should've been implemented into the game from the outset to give people more of an advantage. The game itself is just like Leaf Green, with the same decent graphics and the same story, essentially. What is different, though, is the game's design and Pokémon options. Level 100 Legendaries? I didn't find any of those, so whoever is talking about that, play it again. What I did receive, though, are useful Pokémon with immunities to Poison (for...some...reason. I never found myself getting poisoned all that much, but it IS a moot point). Another feature implemented is that 95% of the weather is rain, giving Magikiller some powerful 1 Hit KO moves at terrifying speeds. Water types also get a nice boost, so remember that. The Elite 4 was surprisingly challenging, with some interesting strategies and nice moves. Lance in particular was a b**** to beat. Other than that, the game also has the levels of trainers and even gym leaders be the same as their Leaf Green counterparts, which is a real shame, since there are much more abusable Pokémon to use this time around. Would've loved some variety, but you can't ask for everything. You can find powerful Pokémon in the caves (Rhydon and Machamp easily come to mind), and catching those are highly recommended. In the end, the game is decent, but it still needs work. Play it and decide for yourself!

Pretty good JSHF
Overall:
Its very fun and cool. The only problem is that i didn't get a 100 starter :( but its still awesome and very addictive to catch all the legends and beat the new elite 4(P.S glitches may occur)
Graphics:Its your standard LeafGreen graphics but it has some changes
Sound:Nothing new, same sound
Addictiveness: Its actually very addictive to train your legends form lvl.5 and can be interesting to find out what new pokemon are there
Story:Same. No comment
Depth:Its sorta bigger now that you can do the aftergame and you can catch more pokemon
Difficulty:HARD AS HECK .Brock is actually Steven with a lvl.48 or something Skarmory and a lvl.50 Steelix. The elite four is impossibru!!!!!!!!! In the start Maxie (0.o) Has a Groundon AND a freaking Moltres. The rest 2 are kinda easy (thats what you feel when you get past Maixie lol)but then Lance turns your tables upside down with a Rayquaza, Salamence ,Dragonair,Dragonite and a Charizard WTF
and one cool and annoying aspect all 1 hit ko moves always hit for the most time,Hyper beam ,Hydro cannon,Blast burn,Frenzy plant and Dragon Blaze (new move),Dragon Slash(Dragon claw) are 1 hit ko moves with 50 pp and they NEVER MISS...total pwnage..

Leaf Green Review zeldamasterninja
Pokemon leaf reborn is a game with great graphics according to game boy RPG standards. the sound is like all Pokemon games but it could be worse and it matches the game perfect. people get addicted to Pokemon every day but this one has it done to easy for Pokemon fans to get into the game but a lot of people will be fond of this game for catching new Pokemon giving it a 6 for addictiveness and a 2 for difficulty. the story is pretty complex and long making the game worth it but it is still not perfect.

You're a terrible game, mr. Leaf Reborn SQman
I'm not gonna lie, this hack is bad. It has features that no hack created should have:
"Lv.1 blast burn" - Pokemon on first routes shouldn't know much more than tackle/scratch/pound and some non-damaging move; eevee in viridian forest know doom desire and dive.
"I can't so I won't" - this thing all the way. The romhacker didn't know how to give player a national dex or how to make mew and deoxys obey, so non-kanto Pok?mon don't evolve and mew and deoxys don't obey. If you can't hack, how about not publishing your first attempts?
"I like this Pokemon. It will be broken" - I hate when people do this one. All the starters (real) are normal, unchanged Pokemon, while charmander has water absorb and someone told me that it also have altered movepool. Also eevee and skarmory (who is a starter, and zangoose is normal). It's clearly visible what the romhacker's favourite Pokemon are.
"One mon'd route" - treecko field? Latias field? This is just embarrassing. Have there been routes like these in legit games? No, and it was for a reason.
"Y'all need legendaries" - the first route is filled with these, there are two routes ("beginner's legends" and "legend bridge") which only have legendaries, and latias field."Zekrom lv.9 or under" - gengars and tyranitars before you get your first badge.
"I'll make it easy for ya" - free revives, almost free pokeballs.
"I'll make it easy for YA" - Trainers' teams are unchanged. I heard that E4's teams are different. I haven't finished this game, but I'm sure they (and Brock/Steven) are the only ones. It must be hard beating all those bug trainers with your tyranitar!
I might have missed something, but I gave 8 reasons why this game shouldn't be played. These are not just tiny errors, they're unforgivable! I can't believe there are people who enjoy playing this abomination. It's really not worth your time, reader.

A cool game PokePal435
Graphics 10 - The graphics of the game are really clear and easy to see. The graphics are very precise and very easy to read. The maps and everything are very well thought out. It makes me want to come back and play it more. I just love the graphics of the newer Pokemon games as opposed to the older versions. That's just how I am. Good job on the graphics.Addictiveness 8 - I would say this is not as addicting as the others. There have been some things that are just too obvious I guess. Like the towns are the same as in the LG/FR versions. You just changed the names of the towns. I would say try to make your own towns with different names. Then there's also the fact that you can catch all the starters and legends. That bumps down the addictiveness for me. Thus why I rated it an 8 for addictivenessStory 10 - I say the story was well done because just like in the original FR/LG versions, the story was well thought out. So even though the towns/cities are the same as in the original games with different names, I still have a liking to the story-line and how it's played out. It's been ages since I last play the original FR/LG versions. I still love the story of the games as I would the original product. I give you a two thumbs up for a game that's fun.Depth 8 - Hmm....I don't think this game was as big of a hit as some of the other games I have played here. I have found that this game is a bit too predictable. Don't get me wrong because I love the game itself. It is a good game to play. I just would love to see a bit more put into it to make it a bigger hit to me. So I gotta have it rated as an 8 to me.Difficulty 5 - This game isn't really hard because what's the fun if you're able to find all the starters and legends in places? Then you got a few moves that are one-hit KO moves that have 100% accuracy like Sheer Cold. Also giving it to a tiny Squirtle at the beginning of the game makes it meh...You also got moves (Hydro Cannon, Hyper Beam) that are also made as one-hit KO moves. That makes it even easier to beat the game. I don't know. I do like the game. It's just made to easy to beat. There are also Eevee that always hold Master Balls. That makes catching every Pokemon extremely easy. Umbreon/Espeon with the Wonder Guard ability? That's only supposed to be for Shedinja? What's Umbreon/Espeon doing with that ability? The thing with Pokemon having abilities that do not suit them is kinda weird. Sorry I just didn't find this game that hard at all. My rating stands at a 5.Overall rating 7 - You know, overall I thought the game to be of average proportions. Don't get me wrong though. I still love to play it when I'm bored. I train my Pokemon like usual. I catch them and train them. There are just things that didn't please me all that much. The difficulty is the main thing the displeased me most. The only thing about the difficulty that made me rate what I did was:1. Pokemon with abilities that don't suit them2. Finding all the starters/legends3. Pokemon holding items (Master Ball, Exp. Share, Mach Bike, etc)Hmm....You know I don't really have much more to say. As a player, I actually give you props for a decent game. Sorry if I was a bit harsh in my review this time. ~PokePal435 has left the building~
