GREAT HACK!   Zeleck
What can I say about this game... Well if you love Pokémon, this is the game for you. I spent two days trying to beat this game, and lord knows I skipped a class... or three :) beating it. This game is very addicting and the creator put some interesting twists in the story line. I wont give away much, but expect someone to die.
One thing I loved about this game is the fact that you become a rocket. It has been a dream of mine to play as a rocket ever since Pokémon Toxic purple came out.
On to the technical stuff.
The graphics for this game are just like any other Pokémon Fire red game, so I gave it an 8,
The sound for this game is again, like any other Pokémon Fire red game, so it too gets an 8
Having played most of the Pokémon games that this site has to offer, I can say with out a doubt in my mind that this is one of the bests hacks on here. It is very addicting, as I said above I did miss a few classes beating this game. So I gave it a 10
The story and depth of the game is interesting I don't want to give anything else away from the storyline so I'm rating both it, and the depth of the storyline a 9 ( you find out about Mewtwo)
To be honest, this game isn't actually all that hard. I beat the game with a level 54 Aipom, a level 64 Charizard, a level 69-70 Herricross, and a level 70-71 Lanturn. Granted, I did you tons of max potions, full restores and revives, but all in all, I found that this game is challenging but not to the point where you want to kick in your computer screen. If I can beat this game, using the team I made, that you can beat this game as easily if not easier.

Pokémon Fuligin- Clever, Involving, Thorough, and Hilarious   Dynastico
Something that I really appreciate in a Pokémon hack is how different it is from the original.  I've played the original Pokémon games through a hundred times before, so playing a hack that's really the same game with a few changes isn't very exciting.  Pokémon Fuligin, despite beginning innocently and typically to a regular Pokémon game, sets itself apart early as a completely different kind of Pokémon story-driven adventure game.
This game is rated mature, and with very good reason.  Language is harsh, jokes are on adult topics, and the actual storyline is much, much darker than a standard Pokémon game.  Provided that the player is a mature person, however, this should not be a problem, as the dialogue never becomes offensive or (exceptionally) disturbing.  You will, however, experience a few "What did I just read?" moments after speaking to the NPC's.
Speaking of which, talk to all the NPC's!  As mentioned in the title, this game is extremely thorough.  Nearly all the NPC's walking around town have rewritten dialogues which actually fit into the context of the game.  Also, a lot of it is really just funny.  The plot-centric characters also have appropriate new things to say, which really helps to complete and add to the story of the game.
The story is very well executed.  Early in the game, when it still feels like a regular, innocent Pokémon game, you get little hints to the real plot.  The plot escalates from these hints, keeping you interested and giving you reasons to keep exploring the world.  As I said earlier, this game is story-driven, which is really spectacular.  Instead of simply wandering around the region with a vague idea of what you're doing, NPC's will actually give you reasons to go places.  This is best shown at the very beginning of the game, when, after you receive your first Pokémon, instead of just telling you to go into the world and do whatever, the Professor actually sends you out on a mission.  Already, the game has more purpose than most Pokémon games.  Another awesome thing is that you receive the majority of the HM's through the plot, so it's almost impossible to miss them and still continue with the game.
Even better, in the occasions when an NPC hasn't told you what you're supposed to be doing, there are always clear roadblocks that prevent you from going farther than you need to, thereby forcing you to stay where you are or check out the available areas.  The game is always pushing you in the right direction.  The plot itself will sometimes bring you to a new area, and many transitions are very clever and make good use of the world.  The actual region is intelligently designed, and travel between towns is smooth and simple.  In one instance, the next town you need to explore is on the other side of one of the first towns you visit, and the map naturally leads you back there when you explore a newly opened route.  The majority of the confusion from not knowing where to be next is almost completely eliminated.
The new region itself is beautifully created, with lovely landscaped routes and well laid-out towns.  Using data from both Kanto and the Sevii Islands results in an enormous map, and the towns exhibit many clever uses of their existing programming.  (My all-time favorite is what the S.S. Anne turned in to.)  The Pokémon found in each route, taken from Gen. I-III, are appropriate to their location.  Besides things like an abundance of water Pokémon in swampy areas and grass Pokémon in meadows, the Pokémon you find early in the game will be low-level, weak Pokémon you'd expect to find.  Many hacks try to "mix it up" by allowing the player to catch more powerful or evolved Pokémon early game, but from the region's standpoint, this doesn't always make a lot of sense.  Don't think, though, that this game forces you to catch bugs and weak normal-types only early on.  The Pokémon are all strength-appropriate for the region, but most of them evolve into strong Pokémon, and the spectrum of types you can catch early-game is more balanced than usual.  Finally, the region makes excellent use of weather.  Many routes have weather conditions that are appropriate to the landscape, as well as others that add to the atmosphere of the game.
At the end of this glowing review, I must discuss my few complaints.  With a story so interesting and separated from the standard Pokémon plot, I began to wonder why I still bothered collecting badges.  Of course I needed some badges to use HM's, but in the context of the story, I wasn't entirely sure why I still needed to get all 8 badges and defeat the Elite Four.  Also, after all the climatic buildup in the main storyline, the end of the game falls flat.  The major threat is left unresolved.  After beating the Elite Four, the credits roll, and you find yourself back in your house with no direction, something the rest of the game did so well.  It's entirely up to you to scour the map and fully wrap-up the story, and in the end, the game didn't really climax I felt no real closure or sense that I had truly finished the game.
And yet, as disappointed as I was, I thought back to how much fun I'd had playing the game.  It was difficult in some parts, so I never felt like I was breezing through the game.  The game drove me to complete it, and not once did I ever feel myself losing interest.  Whether or not you are dissatisfied with the ending of Pokémon Fuligin, I can assure you that you'll really enjoy the rest of the game leading up to it.

Fantastic game!   JoolsJP
Graphics- The graphics were solid. I experienced no glitches during my playthrough. All people, houses, locations and pokemon/sprites were flawless. Due to the original only having graphics to a GBA standard there was never going to be any wonders of detail but no mistakes so I scored a 9.
Sound- As Pokefans we all know the music is never too complicated. Yet still felt the massive nostalgia kicking in during the battle scene music. No change to the original tune and standard pokemon music. Which we all love = 9.
Addictiveness- Extremely addictive. The new storyline meant I always wanted to progress further and delve more into it. More specifically I wanted to continue my progress into and up the hierarchy of Team Rocket. Due to there being Pokemon included from up to and including Gen 3 there was no shortage of desire to collect and train the best team possible. Could not stop playing. So so addictive. Perfect 10.
Story- For how long have we all wanted a Team Rocket storyline that allows us to be on their side? TOO LONG! It was always going to be a difficult one to implement but its done brilliantly. You find yourself engulfed in the story and genuinely feel like a member and enjoy being a member of team rocket, the tasks were a nice take on the tasks from the original and seemed realistic. I was so happy when I seen this existed and am ecstatic to say it most certainly did not disappoint. The standard 'beat the gym leaders then the pokemon league' was still present but I liked how it all incorporated into the team rocket storyline, right to the end where Brendan references not wanting to lose a member of Team Rocket. Executed what we have desired for so long very well. Perfect 10.
Depth- Aspects from generations 1-3 were present throughout e.g. Snorlax/Pokeflute part and the double battle with lance with the team rocket situation. Very nicely adapted. The storyline was certainly not too short, undoubtedly would have loved it to be longer to prolong my enjoyment in the game but depth was still evident. Even with the boost function (which I loved and used constantly, grinding out levels with pokemon was much easier, much less tedious) there was a good 30-40 hours real-time gameplay which never felt over too soon. The region was a standard size for a pokemon game yet further exploration of many locations was restricted prior to obtaining the required HMs. After getting the HMs there were plenty of locations worth revisiting for extra stuff (normally legendaries) but this made it seem like the game had more depth. AND SO MANY LEGENDARIES. This was such a nice touch that legendaries from various generations were available and gave that little bit extra during the game and especially after beating the Pokemon League. However as what seems the norm there was nothing else to really do after the Pokemon League so that stops depth from getting a perfect score (Brutal I know) = 9.
Difficulty- As expected in a pokemon game nothing was too difficult, trainers were weak and gym leaders were much stronger but nothing too much to overcome. There were certain points I lost to a gym leader or two and needed to grind out a few levels to do this (boost function meant it was quick and easy to do so) but that could have been due to the fact I raised a balanced team as opposed to over-leveling one or two pokemon as is often the done thing. I defeated the Pokemon League first time easily and there were no battles that I felt were even difficult to win. Even in the final battle with the creator of the game I took out his team with a Heracross at lvl 78 when I believe his lowest was lvl 80. Despite this the game never felt too easy, there was always a sense of achievement when victorious (inspirational stuff) and it never became boring even for an instant. I score difficulty as 6.
Overall- This was an extremely well rounded, thoroughly enjoyable game. Every aspect a fan/player would want in a pokemon game was here. The changes made to the original were excellent even the change in dialogue was refreshing and often quite hilarious. I would recommend this game to any fan and I believe it was much better than the original. Massive 9.8 from me.
Thanks for your time guys! JoolsJP

Pokemon Fuligin Review   Oldschool41
This would be my first review on the Vizzed website so don't expect me to be a natural at this!
When you think of Pokemon you easily think of "Pikachu", "Team Rocket", and "Gotta Catch'em All!!" In the video game Pokemon Fuligin, a Pokemon Fire Red hack; almost all of those apply to this game. While it offers a unique way of telling a Pokemon Journey; it has some faults that make the game feel almost worthless, incomplete, and just downright frustrating. Now unto the review of each category of Graphics, Sound, Addictiveness, Story, Depth, and Difficulty.
Graphics- Pokemon Fuligin has some pretty good graphics compared to other pokemon games I've played in the past or recently on Vizzed. When I enter a volcano area where all the Fire pokemon are, the game actually attempts to simulate what the inside of a volcano would look like if all the lava was drained. The game uses a lot of Rain animation that I've noticed periodically when I'm either on land or sea. This gives the game of an added realism to game instead of the bland shiny, lightfilled sky that most Pokemon games have. There is however a problem with the Map of the Region as the you can sometimes never figure out where you are going. This can also be irritating when your trying to capture all the Pokemon as the Pokedex still uses the Fire Red data locations, which the hacker didn't update when making the Hack. Once you figure out the Routes and compare Pokemon of similar routes, you can eventually find where most if not all the Pokemon are.Overall I rank the Graphics a 9.
Sound- Pokemon Fuligin like the other past Pokemon games before it has the same happy, fun filled music everytime your out on those numberous Routes, Towns, and Cities. The only time the music changes is when your battling Pokemon or your in a cave. Don't expect anything epic, blood pumping music; just some more of the same old Pokemon music. Overall I rank the Sound an 8.
Addictiveness- Pokemon Fuligin like the other past Pokemon games is quite Addicting. You will enjoy trying to capture the countless Pokemon that Pokemon Fuligin has in its data base. It can become quite addicting trying to level all your Pokemon to max level, making them learn all the attacks that they can learn, and the added joy you can get defeating the same Trainers can become fun at first, but after the 15th defeat it can become quite boring in your grind for more EXP and Money. Also there are a lot of Pokemon on some routes, so if you want to get a specific Pokemon (lets use Togepi as an example), you're going to have to fight a lot of other Pokemon before Togepi appears (an even then you might not like the Gender so you try again.) Overall I rank the Addictiveness a 9.
Story- Pokemon Fuligin unlike the other past Pokemon games has a unique story. It first starts out with you a young Pokemon trainer and his older brother getting their first Pokemon from Professor Oak, leaving their hometown, and setting off to battle and conquor the 8 Gym Leaders, the Elite 4, and the Champion; to become the Pokemon Champion. It starts out similar to the past Pokemon games where you defeat the Gym Leaders to collect Badgers. After spotting your brother however, trying to steal a Truck; your brother and you are captured by the police and thrown in jail. After defeating the Warden and getting the HM01 (Cut) as a reward; you and your brother make it out of prison and he insists that you should join Team Rocket with him. After defeating more Gym Leaders, Earning More Badges, and More Money; you arrive at Team Rocket's headquarters. Upon defeating all the Rockets and their leader Giovannte, you and your brother become full members of Team Rocket. Giovannte then sends you out on some missions; ranging from Kicking the Pokemon Zapados out the Powerplant, stealing Sableye from the Head Maiden in the Ghost Tower, and the Acient Amber that can be used to get Arodactyle; you progress up the ranks of team Rocket and earn the respect of the other Rocket members. After Saving Giovannte from a trap that involves the Champion Lance; Giovannte promotes you and your brother to Rocket Administrators. However after that happens a Meteor falls to the Earth killing a nearby town. Because you are close by, you investigate the damage and uncover a black marble like triangle. Upon interacting with the triangle, the Pokemon Deoxys appears and thanks you for breaking him out of prison. Deoxys then tells you that he plans to conquor the human race and decides to thank you by not killing you. After some more traveling and battles you come upon Deoxys trying to conquor another town. When the residents rebel against Deoxys plans, he kills the entire town (except for Nurse Joy and a Chansey) turning the town into a Ghost town. Eventaully you come across your brother who tells you that Giovannte wants you and your brother to meet him at the Rocket Warehouse; but before you can meet up with Giovannte you and your brother battle each other to see who is the supperior Rocket Administrator. After beating your brother, both of you make your way to meet Giovannte, who tells you that he has genetically engineered the Pokemon Mewtwo. Your brother then tells Giovannte that its wrong to create Pokemon and in his fury, Giovannte battles you. You defeat Giovannte; but Mewtwo becomes annoyed and decides that Humanity should be killed; so he kills your brother and flees with Giovannte running close behind trying to keep Mewtwo under control. Eventually you make your way to the final Pokemon Gym but you find that Deoxys and Mewtwo are battling each other. You, Giovannte, Professor Oak (who happens to be the Final Gym Leader), 3 other Rockets, and a couple of townspeople watch the battle in horror at how destructive it is becoming. Eventually Giovannte makes a fools choice and comes between Mewtwo and Deoxys, and ends up dying from the attack. As a result Deoxys runs away and Mewtwo follows behind. Professor Oak then approchs you and expresses his disappointment that you became a Rocket and tells you that he expects you to meet him for the final gym badge. But before you can leave, the other Rockets then proclaim you the LEADER OF TEAM ROCKET!! You defeat Professor Oak and you make your way to the Elite 4. At the town before Victory Road, another Rocket gives you the other 2 Pokemon Starters, saying that she robbed Professor Oak when he wasn't looking. You clear Victory Road, Defeat the Elite 4, and face off against Lance who is now a lot stronger. After a tough battle, you defeat Lance and the same Rocket who gave you the stolen Pokemon congradulates you on the victory and your Pokemon are uploaded into the Hall of Fame. I give the story a 10.
Depth- There is quite a lot of depth in Pokemon Fuligin. All the Legendaries from Generation 1, 2, and 3 are capturable; so anyone who wants all the Legendaries will not be disappointed. In fact you can capture more then 1 certain Legendaries (6 Rayquasas anyone?) So far most of the Pokemon are captureable. Only Drowzee, Azurmill, and some other pokemon I have yet to find, but I assume that they are somewhere. You can also collect more then 1 Masterballs as you can trade Rare Candies for Masterballs in one area or you can get an iffinite supply of Masterballs in another area without trading of Rare Candies. Overall I give the Depth a 9.
Difficulty- Pokemon Fuligin is quite difficult compared to most Pokemon Games. The designed made the game that required you to cross patches of grass on your way to another town, forcing you to fight Wild Pokemon. The Trainers can sometimes be challenging, but nothing that you shouldn't stress over. The Gym Leaders, Elite 4, and Lance can be quite difficult if you don't grind your Pokemon to a good level. Also the Prison Warden (or as I call him the Death Warden) can destory you game if you lose to him, so remember to F2 save when you do get sent to prison before you face him. Overall I give the Difficulty a 9.
In my closing arguements, Pokemon Fuligin should be given a look, if not at least a playthrough. You can capture a lot of Pokemon, Face against challenging Gym Leader/Trainers/Elite 4, and has a much better story then other Pokemon Games. The only downside is the Pokedex is not up to date, some minor issues like when you meet Professor Oak, your dead brother happens to still have some dialoge that should have been taken out, and a little bit of cursing/comments about rape keep Pokemon Fuligin from becoming a Great Hack that everyone on Vizzed should at least try.
I hope you enjoy my first review of a game on Vizzed. If you have a question or Problem about my review or what to post a comment please feel free to do so and I'll try my best to answer. Thank You!!

The game where you finally get to be a member of team rocket   gamerforlifefor..
Pokemon Fuligin is a very unique pokemon hack where you get to become a member of team rocket! Sounds awesome I know but is the game any good? I'll let you know right now!
Graphics: The graphics are the same as firered and leafgreen no changes so I give the graphics an 8.
Sound: The soundtrack is also the same as firered and leafgreen but there's one major problem I have, the champion theme is nowhere to be seen! Yes the champion theme which by the way is the best theme in firered and leafgreen is gone instead you get to listen to the normal trainer theme when you battle the champion. Why the person who created this hack decided to do that I don't know but it was a very bad move on that person's part for that reason I have to give the sound a 5.
Story: This game has a great and different story that I thought was well written and I loved the dialogue that this game has. I do have to warn you though that this game has a lot of cursing so if you don't like that then I would not recommend this game but if you don't mind that like me then I would recommend playing it. Basically the game starts the same way any other pokemon game would start you get your starting pokemon you go out on your journey you battle and capture other pokemon you battle trainers and gym leaders and try to achieve the ultimate goal: to beat the pokemon league but there is a major twist, eventually your character's brother convinces you to join team rocket with him! I won't give any more spoilers away but the story is fantastic and is well written. I give the story a 9.
Addictiveness: The great story and the fact that you get to be a part of team rocket gives this game massive replay value since there aren't any other hacks out there that I know of that you get to be a team rocket member. For that reason I give addictiveness a 10.
Depth: There's a lot to do in this game though after you beat the pokemon league there's only one more thing you get to do which is you get to battle the creator of the game. That's cool but I wish there could've been more to do besides that. For that reason I can't give depth a 10 so instead I have to give it a 9.
Difficulty: Some of the gym leaders and the pokemon league are difficult which requires level grinding but it's not too hard so I give the difficulty a 6.
Overall: Pokemon Fuligin is a very unique hack that let's you be the bad guy for a change which I think is cool. My only complaints are that the champion theme is not in this game and the fact that there isn't much to do after you beat the pokemon league. Other than that it's a fantastic game. I give the overall score an 8.5.

Awesome hack   iiGrinchii
As you may see I overall rated this game 9.9 because, it has honestly has to be the best hack I've played. There is no other game to beat this to me. I played this game so many times over and over because the story just gets me every time.
Graphics - The graphics were awesome, Only thing was when picking the name for your Brother his pat-lets got messed up. But It was funny how he looked so that didn't matter to me. Other than that little small funny issue, The graphics were awesome, I didn't notice glitches, maybe a few little spots you couldn't walk, but it didn't interfere with the story, or getting items or nothing. Other than that, That's all.
Sound - I didn't enjoy the sound only because I fast forwarded the whole game, but there wasn't really anything wrong with the music.
Addictiveness - Like I said before, I replayed this game many of times and I just love it, Trying new teams to defeat the elite 4 and gym leaders. Trying to capture the lengendaries with only ultra balls because well I don't like to use master balls, I find it cheap and boring. But this game honestly is very addictive, especially since you get to join in with Team Rocket.
Story - Yes I said it, I said that you get to join Team Rocket in this game. Ever grow up as a kid playing Pokémon on your little console always wanting to be apart of team rocket? Yup, You finally join them. The story plays out as a kid getting his Pokémon, going out, and his brother getting caught up with TR. Sooner you also join. Who Needs A Rival Like Gary when you have everyone your rival because you are TR ;) Doing Missions is the best hahah.
Depth - I will not go into much depth same with the story, because that will just give away what waits for you. All I must say is, 10 10 10 ;)
Difficulty - The game starts out easy, but as you progress, the game gets a bit tougher, and tougher, and tougher. Depending on your Pokémon Team, this game will open another difficulty in you. Good Luck. Have Fun.

Love it!   pdaddy123
Wow I'm very veryy impressed with this hack, so much fun especially since you can become a team rocket grunt then as you progress you move up in the ranks..The opponents are a little overpowered but that's what being a Pokémon trainer is all about to overcome any challenge you face..One thing I really liked is that you can catch all 386 Pokémon from 1,2,3 generations which is very cool and the other thing is that you also have the opportunity to catch all legendary Pokémon after the elite four so don't think its over after you beat the elite 4 cause you still have a long way to go..have fun

Pretty Great!   Pokemaster0123
Overall: 10
I must say this is a wonderful hack! I've always wanted to join Team Rocket and this game lets you do just that!
Graphics: 9
The graphics are just like any of the Game boy Advance Pokémon games. Still good though. I love that they changed the maps and such as well as the towns themselves!
Sound: 10
I'll be honest, I didn't play using the sound. I assume it's just like the sound in the handheld games.
Addictiveness: 9
I come back to play it after a break but only because I HAVE to beat it! It's just like this driving force saying Defeat the game! And let me tell you, it isn't that easy!
Story: 8
I didn't really think it was a well-developed story but there was at least an effort to create one. If it had more of a specific plot that would be great! But it was good compared to the original games and that makes up for it.
Depth: 10
This game has Pokémon from the first three generations, allowing for a wide variety in building your teams. This game takes forever to beat, mostly because of the gym leaders and the running back and forth between towns before you have to luxury of flying. Still, there are a lot of great things to do and Pokémon to catch.
Difficulty: 10
This was one of the hardest games I have ever played. Each gym leader is at least three times as strong as the one before them and their Pokémon have insane attack, defense, and speed! Not to mention the Pokémon they are given are ones that you wouldn't expect a gym leader to have. I personally feel that each opponent is overpowered but it makes for a more challenging game and more time required to achieve your goals. I will warn you: most likely you will have to battle the major opponents multiple times. I would recommend stashes of status healing items (berries, antidotes, etc) and super/hyper potions. Put all of your money towards those things and most of your time towards training and you should be fine.

Nice Hack but once you get to the town where you and your brother get blamed for shoplifting and you have to fight the warden to get free you have to win on first try or you have to start all over if you didnt save before hand.
