Fire Red Omega - Gen III at its BEST   Keeshi
Now, you might look at my scores, and look at my title and say, ' Hu? '   But rest easy, I will explain.
Overview -
For those who do not know, this hack from made to enhance the FR/LG Gen 3 setting, while improving the difficulty. All gym leaders have 6 Pokémon, many of they used in the anime itself. Trading to evolve Pokémon is not required for this hack, and even RIGHT after you get your pokedex from Prof Oak, you have the chance to catch almost 30 different Pokémon!
Graphics - 9
I give the graphics a 9 because of the great classic 2d sprite look of the game. It doesn't use the crazy 3d graphics of the 4th and 5th Gen games, which, even tho some people prefer them, I do not.
Sound - 7
I gave the sound a 7, because of even tho most Pokémon games have great music, they have 0 options to change any thing about them.
Addictiveness - 10
With the ability to catch all of Gen 3's Pokémon, there are COUNTLESS teams you can play with. Different styles of runs like, nuzlock, solo, mono type, etc.. And with Pokémon, each one is different and unique!
Story - 6
The Story does not change. I gave it a 6 because most of the Pokémon games stories are a little bland, and this one is no different.
Depth - 7
Now, I gave this game a 7 depth, because it DOES add a few areas to explore and train and catch AFTER the Elite 4. You'll find these places(which I will leave nameless) fun - But a little short IMO(if you have a great team that is, if not...... )
Difficulty - 8
Now, this one is the big one in my opinion. The game itself is MUCH harder than the original Fire Red/Leaf Green game. Gym Leaders harder. Trainers changed! Some Pokémon's moves and stats are even changed!
But Overall, this game is one of my favorite games of all time. I think any Pokémon fan who loves the games should spend some Viz and play this baby to death!

By far the best pokemon hack I've played.   Jim Profit
This is one of the best pokemon hacks I've seen, and that's saying something. You really feel like the hacker tried when he developed Red Omega.
I will leave out explanations for why I rated sound, depth,  difficulty the way I did. Basically those elements had not changed, and were never very good to begin with. But there are some major changes as far as the game itself.
GRAPHICS: 7.
All new sprites. It's definitely a relief to see something new to stare at when doing battles and such. Some of the sprites are a bit blotchy, but it's a small price to pay for a whole new outlook. I'll take blotchy over repetition any day.
ADDICTIVENESS: 7.
There's just more to do, without ever having to change a single thing about Fire Red. Now talking to NPCs is somewhat rewarding. While most still puke out some garbage about obvious control commands or random pokemon facts... nearly every route now has an NPC that will bestow upon you a starter pokemon. And these starter pokemon are at a decent enough level for you to train up, or take to the daycare center and feasibly use them in combat at some point.
CHALLENGE: 7.
The challenge has jumped a little. Pokemon games are notorious for being cheap, disregarding their own rules and math equations. This however, isn't the problem. I never really get the feeling as though the game is "cheating", so much as it's just a much higher standard. Pokemon are tougher, gym leaders have six pokemon, and your rival is much less of a slouch and will give you an extraordinary hard time every time you come into contact with him. But even the challenge seems better, because it seems less artificial. Despite how everyone's a bit stronger, it makes sense then to struggle. As opposed to just supposedly "rolling badly", yet conveniently it's only on the player's end that badluck seems to prevail.
Red Omega simply works on all the blatant problems with pokemon, and does so subtly. Every route has a diverse array of pokemon to catch, the challenge of fighting trainers is more authentic and less just cheap siding with the A.I, a new look, and you have a lot more options.
In general, it did what I always said should be done with a pokemon game, and it did it well. I cannot complain, and I give the creator mad props for putting the time and effort into this. I hope that whoever made this hack, continues to do hacks in the future. As I trust they'd be done as well if not better then this.
OVERALL RATING: 10.
I was heavily debating what I would give the general rating. I wanted it to be high, but it's a pokemon game.... however, this man deserves a 10. For managing to make a game I find a problem with on every level, and nitpick every little flaw, and managed to not only make it satisfactory , but fun. Well done.

Great Pokemon Hack   AllenFox1371
This is one of the better Pokémon hacks that I have seen, and that is saying a lot, because there are a few good ones I.E. Light Platinum and Expert Emerald.
I am going to leave out reviews of the sound, story, and graphics, because nothing from the original Fire Red has changed on those accounts.
Addictiveness- This is a highly addictive game. For anyone who has played a Pokémon game, they know that these games will draw you in. This game goes above and beyond. Now it is more important to talk to most NPC's, because some of them will give you free Pokémon (Every starter will be given to you at some point in the game). That is an awesome addition, and it makes you want to look in every nook and cranny to find new Pokémon.
Depth- Another awesome part of the game. Along with people giving you free Pokémon, now even the wild Pokémon have been rearranged. So in an area where there should only be Sentret and Pidgeys, now you might find Abras and Ralt. That actually makes you want to spend an hour running around in the grass to see what different Pokémon will show up. With every Pokémon available (even evolutions that you used to have to trade for) it means that you can have a wide variety of team options.
Difficulty- Usually Pokémon games do not have a high difficulty, but this one is different. All trainers and gym leaders have higher levels, and the gym leaders now have six Pokémon, which makes for more of a challenge. AI is also greatly enhanced. Pokémon now don't just spam Yawn every turn even when you are asleep. Now they will damage you greatly.
But since there are more team choices, and the fact that wild Pokémon have higher levels, if you train properly and have a balanced team, the game will not cause too much trouble.
Overall- This is a must play for anyone who loves Pokémon games. Its the same Fire Red, but with enough difference to make it not feel over done. I like the fact that the hacker didn't change the story, they just tweaked the game a little, and made it tougher. So when you do become champion, you will feel like you accomplished something.

OMEGA   dakota24
This game is really quite an interesting game.... I'm not sure If anyone is going to read this, but if you are PLAY THIS GAME!! I twill be worth your time to play! You can get all 386 Pokémon, (Who doesn't want to catch 'em all??) The original starters are HANDED out to you in various locations along the way to becoming the #1 trainer. You can pick between Elekid, Smoochum, or Magby as your starter! (I prefer Elekid because he can learn Fire Punch, Thunder, Ice Punch, and Shock Wave!!!) Overall this game is a 10 and If you're looking for a good hack to play... this game is tops!! I have searched and searched for a better hack on here.... no other hack can even touch this one...don't believe me... try it out for yourself!!! You'll never turn back and you won't regret hitting that play button! Have fun, and enjoy the hack ladies and gentleman!!

Omega Pokemon Fire Red Omega   xxdougiexxfreshx
Okay everyone welcome to my Pokemon Fire Red Omega Review. This will be my first ever review so you'll just have to bear with me on this, but I figured this should be my first one since i am making a walk through for it as well.
I have spent many hours of my life playing many Pokemon hacks. And I have to say this is one of my favorites. I'm not gonna explain way I rated graphic sound and story the way I did. Now lets get into the reason we are here.
Addictiveness: 8
This is Pokemon there is already a level af addicitivness to but now.....
Now we have a change to set up a solid team even before you get into Viridian Forest. With the chance of find many diffirent types of Pokemon on every single Route we come across. Get the first 3 Gen. Starters form random NPC's so don't forget to talk with them. Get all the Legendarys
Depth: 6
There is just more to do in this game period. You can catch all but 9 Pokemon (none of them are legendary). But you have to keep in mind it's still the same old Pokemon story to go with it. Some of the NPC trainers have been updated to say different things and there are even some that were added to the after game. New starters for you to work with
Difficulty: 8
The creator of this game jumped up the difficulty for us. All our favorite gym leaders 6 Pokemon. Our rival is no longer a complete pushover you will need to use your brain a tidbit to beat him now. The Catch rate of Some Pokemon was dropped to make em hard to catch (there are 3 at a 1). Stat increases on some of the Pokemon. Level grinding is a must or you can find your self behind 10+ in a blink of an eye
Overall: 9.7
This game is everything I've always wanted in a Pokemon game. But i'm still not going to give it a 10, not because it's not great but it is still a Pokemon game. This game has all we love about Gen. 1 with the prettyness of Gen. 3 and some difficulty

Review Of Fire Red Omega   spookyskeleton
Pokemon Fire Red Omega is meant to be a difficulty hack. It's not flashy and it's not incredibly different from the normal Fire Red. Most of the areas, if not all of them, are exactly the same. The things changed though, are the enemies and what they use, the levels, and even how smart they are.
Graphics- 10/10: Graphics are the same as Fire Red. Which is perfectly okay, because it's just meant to be a harder version of the normal game. Also the hack is pretty old.
Sound- 10/10. Sound is exactly the same. I wouldn't expect it to be different. Even a lot of the new hacks don't change the sounds.
Addictiveness: 7/10. I liked the game a lot. Every gym fight was challenging, and I always wanted to play to the next one. Grinding in this game actually doesn't ruin how addictive it is. Certain trainers in the game give you lot's of experience, and you can rematch them all you want. When ever I was behind in levels, it took me only about 20 minutes to catch up, so the pace was never ruined. Every trainer is using something different and is a little stronger in some way, it made me always want to keep playing. The map though, is mostly unchanged, besides a few spots with extra grass. If you've played the original Fire Red, you won't find much new to look at, as far as areas go. Also the dialogue is unchanged, besides when you get free stuff.
Story: 10/10. Literally nothing changed from Fire Red. Which is better than quickly coming up with some random story that doesn't make  any sense.
Depth: 6/10 I noticed some small things I liked. When they made Fire Red, they took out some of the trainers from Red/Blue and made them weaker. In this hack, it brings back every difficult trainer. An example of this is the level 16 Raticate in the first cave. Everyone in the game has a changed team which is nice. Although besides the different battles, you won't find anything else new to do. The starters are all different, and actually aren't normal starters. That was cool for being different. The moves you learn are also changed up.
Difficulty: 7/10. Difficult is what this hack is meant to be. Everyone has increased levels, better moves, and is just stronger in general. The gyms all have max teams of 6, all the way through the entire game. Most boss fights aren't simple any more because they cover their weaknesses. Despite that, the game hands you really powerful things at the beginning for free. You can find certain trainers to rematch that make leveling up very fast. Moves that are powerful and need to recharge like Hyper Beam and Blast Burn, no longer need to charge and can now be spammed on you. Although you can abuse this too if you learn the moves. The AI is also smart in this game. An example was the poison gym. I set up Rain Dance and was ready to clear through his whole team, but suddenly he switched to an electric type and killed my team with Thunder. This also shows how a hack can be hard without just raising levels.
Overall: 8/10. I liked this a whole lot. Everything was challenging without it being unfair in levels. The parts it did jump in levels, you had spots to quickly fix it, such as going to the trainer on the island with 2 or 3 Blisseys. I was able to be challenged without it being unfair.
I think this might be the best hack to someone who wants a fair challenge, although if your looking for a hack with all new things to do, this isn't it.

Pokemon Fire Red Omega Review   edm322
To Note: 1: not for complete strangers to Pokémon. 2: This is my 1st review so don't be surprised if this isn't the best review ever.     Pokémon Fire Red Omega is overall an amazing game for a ton of reasons.
The reason why I rated the graphics a 10 is not for overworld sprites, but for the battle animations. Lately I'd been playing Pokémon White and the battle sprites on here were less pixelated than on White and this was a game made eight years ago.
As for sound, I gave it a 9 because compared to the trumpet heavy music of Emerald, this game's music was wonderful. All things considered, there were a few spots where the music became way too repetitive and I'd just shut the volume off.
Addictiveness I gave a 10. I thought this fit because there are so many different Pokémon before you even reach the first gym that you could build teams out of and I found myself playing this for blocks of 3 or 4 hours at a time. I enjoyed the fact that you could get some of the most overpowered Pokémon without even having to look very hard in any area. A great example being Bagon and Larvitar in Mt. Moon.
For story I rated it an 8. Considering this game has no changes to the story at all and this is the same old "10 year old kid wants to become a Pokémon master but has to fight an evil team and his/her rival along the way." story set up I really couldn't give it a better rating than an 8.
Depth got a 10 from me. This is because like I said earlier, there is such a massive group of Pokémon offered to you there are countless teams you could make even very early on in the game. Plus there is at least 12 hours of gameplay without really "Catching them all" or closer to 17 or 18 if you spend time searching every corner of the Kanto region for anything there could be.
Difficulty only got a 6. This is because it is harder than the regular Fire Red, but with some time spent grinding your team you can get through this game with few difficulties.
Overall I think this game deserves a 10 because it is a massive improvement on the original Fire Red and is a truly new experience for any Pokémon battler.

One of the best Pokemon Fire Red Hacks Ever   Pikachu707
Hello Guys,
I am Pikachu707 and I will review Pokémon Fire Red Omega today
GRAPHICS - 9
I gave Graphics a 9 because Pokémon are known for having outstanding graphics and all the new areas and sprites added from Gen 4 which shows the effort put into the game. (Edit 02/09/2013) Even thought I don't like the Gen 4 sprites it probably is a nice touch to some. The sprites looks nice as they are easy to pick out of what they are from afar. For example the Potion in Viridian City sure I know it's a potion but the sprites are simple and that's the way it should be even thought it's my opinion.
SOUND - 10
I gave Sound a 10 because the music sounds beautiful with the Elite Four from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald which is great to listen to, the champion battle gets you ready to finish the main game which it's does brilliantly. (Edit 02/09/2013) The sounds in the game makes me feel different things from the happiness from defeating a Gym Leader to the creepiness and the sadness of the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town and that to me sounds effective.
ADDICTIVENESS - 10
I gave Addictiveness a 10 because the game is fun to play and in that respective it's easy to go back to and replay. However what really makes the game addictive for me as a Pokémon fan is the new areas to explore during and after the main story (don't worry there won't be any spoilers) which makes this game enjoyable. (Edit 02/09/2013) After I defeat a Gym Leader that has caused me trouble for the first time. For example Brock, Misty, Sabrina etc. It makes me feel happy and yet at the same time makes me wants to continue and see the new changes that are in store for me.
The rest is changed since my keyboard started acting up yeah that's what get when I use my older sister's old Laptop anyway on with the review
STORY - 7
The story is pretty much the same in Fire Red. You can however see this in two ways. One way you can see it as good since you can't get stuck anywhere if you have played through Pokémon Fire Red before which I have. On the other hand I see it a shame that Drayano could of changed a bit of the story to add a unexpected turn of events. That's the only bad thing I found disappointing about this game.
DEPTH - 9 (10)
I now put Depth at 9 now not 10 is because Drayano has improved some Pokémon that has been not used like Spinda, Corsola and Castform which is nice for people who wanted to use them in the first place. But Dunsparce was untouched and he needed it the most
:( someone hug Dunsparce come on we know you want to :D. However the game is still fun to play with all 360 pokes from the first 3 Generations in this game and you can all of them in one save file which is awesome *applause to Drayano which has a Youtube account by the way*.
DIFFICULTY - 5
Pokémon Fire Red Omega is one of those hacks that makes it harder and adds changes that helps the player get through the game easier.
There is some unfair move combos like Perish Song and Mean Look :(. However you do get EXP and you can a Lucky Egg near the right of the entrance of the Cerulean Cave which does help... a lot :)
Overall Pokémon Fire Red is a great game with great additions like the 360 pokes and the more exp. Gaining you will be receiving which will make the game hard or easy if you choose to get the Lucky Egg.
Anyway thank you to the people who gave me feedback Thanks :D
And Pikachu707 out
