 game glitches right before entering the pokemon league, a girl trainer who I can't avoid stops me and says "I lost to a guy named..." and before it can load Silver's name the text disappears and it freezes in that position. Any suggestions?

 You can get Waterfall in the second ice puzzle in the Ice Path, and you can't enter the Kanto region in this version yet.
