MARIO poor adaptation fireking1058
Hello everyone, it's me once again here to review a game. Mario is a mediocre adaptation of the gaming creepypasta MARIO. It just tries to hard to be scary. The scariest part about the creepypasta was what happens in the games code, not the literal game. The depth is just awful, you can play some classic Mario levels, but their names are all screwed up and the levels are extremely boring. The difficulty is the only somewhat good thing in this game.Like, at least it had enemie. The story is just weird, I'm guessing it's trying to tell the description of a brutal murder. Whatever it is it's the worst story I've ever read. You can't even start talking about the addictiveness in this hack. Once you start playing, instead of wanting to complete it. You are going to want to leave as soon as possible. Well I suppose the creator did a good job adapting to the story, so kudos for that. But overall this game is just boring and not entertaining. I mean compared to others I guess there have been worse but we're not going to get into that. Well that pretty much sums it up for this review today. So I will see you guys, later.

A game that tries to be creepy and is just silly NovemberJoy
Usually, the art of making creepypasta is respected, and the storytelling abilities are at least decent. It's usually even better when somebody provides a video of said occurrences happening, and it's best when there's a playable game about it. However, this game tries to be a creepypasta, but it's more like a ******pasta, at least to me. It totally fails to be scary or tell any kind of story at all.
The graphics and sound are not exactly changed at all. All of both are just the defaults that come programmed into the game, so it wouldn't take much skill to make this in Lunar Magic. Moving on...
When you start the game, you are greeted with a title that simply says MARIO. Not MARIO WORLD or SUPER MARIO or something like that, just MARIO. There isn't much of a problem with that, but then there's the game itself. So, the opening sequence is different, in the way that
one word is changed. Not two words, or heaven forbid, an entire custom message, but just one word. Bowser is replaced by Mario, for some stupid reason. It's trying to be creepy/meaningful, but it fails spectacularly at both.
Then, you get to the main map, and the levels that are available include YOSHI'S(yeah, just YOSHI'S, not YOSHI'S HOUSE or something like that), YOSHI'S HOUSE, and never come back. Yes, that's actually the level name. YOSHI'S is even more pointless than the original YOSHI'S HOUSE level from the original game, YOSHI'S HOUSE is actually Yoshi's Island 2 with slight level design changes, and never come back is Yoshi's Island 1 without any enemies or reachable objects and no real purpose besides a few text boxes, which contain such gems as "-POINT OF ADVICE- I hate you" and "-POINT OF ADVICE-." This hack is just
amazing so far.
After some more pointless levels, including the Yoshi's Island 4 level which removes the water and makes the platforms invisible(great idea, guys), you reach a castle, which has...gray lava on the ceiling? After you get past that oddity, there's a whole bunch of message boxes that say the same two messages over and over again. Then, you just fight Iggy, and when you defeat him, it gives a bunch of stuff about Iggy being "Victim #1" and graphically describes his death. Great game for kids, guys!
After that, there's Donut Plains 1, and...oh, you've got to be kidding me. It's in the middle of the water, and the hacker removed the rest of the map? Why would he do that? He wasn't even good enough to take out the ghosts that are supposed to float around the Ghost Houses, so why he would do this is beyond me. It's not anywhere near creepy or meaningful, I'll tell you that for sure.
Donut Plains 1 is basically an empty level. You get the death music, and there doesn't seem to be any exit. Also, there's two message blocks telling you about that there's no exit. But, there is! You're supposed to try to enter a pipe that's invisible and in the ground. How would you guess that? Then, you get a Mushroom, and run past a bunch of doors that you have to be small to enter, and you go through the wall, because the wall is a pipe for some strange reason. Then, you go through another invisible floor pipe, and...what just happened? The game just hung after I entered that pipe. The game literally CRASHES when you enter that pipe. Great programming, guys! He couldn't just program an inescapable area with another message box that says "THE END" and leave you there to die? That would be a lot creepier and a lot more meaningful than anything that actually happened in this hack.
So, the storyline was horrid, there were only 6.5 levels(I don't consider the Donut Plains 1 level to be a full level), and it was far too easy. Everything you want in a SMW hack!
Overall Rating - F- (This isn't worth anyone's time, and I feel cheated for having wasted mine on this horrid thing)

MARIO: Why I think it's bad Staboo1616
Staboo1616 here with my 1st game/hack review.
MARIO, a creepypasta that some people are still trying to crack. I'm not here to Crack though, I'm here to review.
Graphics:4 I'm not a hater but this is weird. The Graphics are like any Mario Game.
Sound:5 The sound was weird. The last level had the Mario dies music playing first, indicating it was the last level. So, I guess you could say it was well organized?
Story:2 The story is that Mario has captured the princess and your someone else in the Land after Mario. Pretty basic. Too basic.
Depth:1 You can literally beat the game in under 25 minutes. Enough said.
Difficulty:2 The game is pretty easy, but things like hidden platforms and pipes make it sort of challenging.
Thank you for reading this Game/Hack review. Staboo1616 Out!

The Purpose of this Hack Luxoway
MARIO is not a game meant to be played, but to be experienced. This game is based on a creepypasta which is an Internet urban legend or campfire story. Before playing the game, you need to hear the whole story to know what it is about found here.
The game's graphics add to the creepy atmosphere, but not by much. There are pallet swapped backgrounds, items that don't work, black backgrounds, and parts that make you think Mario will die. The graphics serve their purpose, but don't live up to other creepypasta games like Ben Drowned or Lost Silver.
The sound does a better job adding to the atmosphere. There are distortions in the music and they are more appreciated playing the game for myself than watching a play through on Youtube. I was actually somewhat impressed with the music this game had to offer.
This game is, unfortunately, very easy and short. There are no enemies and the one level you can die from falling off the edge has artificial difficulty in it. I won't explain why as that will spoil part of the game, but the artificial difficulty isn't even that much of a challenge after screwing it up once. It will take no more than 15 minutes to complete and when I did, I just moved on. Some may want to play another round to see if they missed any hidden messages, but there isn't enough content to do that more than once.
Overall, this game serves it purpose, no more and no less. It makes you think "what is going on?" and that is what it's supposed to do. It could have been better, but at least it's 15 minutes of entertainment for the curious.

MARIO Review Billows84
A supposedly scary (CreepyPasta) game. It starts of weird but it's certainly not scary.
The problem is, it's all to innocent, with the same actual graphics from SMW! Though their is lack of things going on. No enemies but a few in one level. A cheeky, invisible floor level in which you have to remember when not to fall (NOT A SPOILER BUT A WARNING), and odd text when you hit the speakers.
Nice that the old music is in it, a few silent levels and the sound effects are all there.
The game isn't long, this could be finished within 10-15 minutes.
I would rather have played this using a controller than a keyboard, over wise it's easy to use.
OVERALL: I won't be playing this again, fun for a few seconds but doesn't built up to the hype I've heard. Worth a lot, but don't expect much though.

Pointless SwiggitySwag996
This game is a waste of Viz. If this is supposed to be a creepy pasta, it was the biggest failure, EVER. I apologize to those who think it was good but at one point you're not even playing a game anymore. The level names being things like, "leave now" and "never come back make this even more pointless. And referring to Iggy (I'm pretty sure it was Iggy) as Victim #1 was actually really stupid. The difficulty shouldn't even be rated a one, with the occasional invisible platform it makes no difference. Not only that, but the enemies have been mostly removed. If you're looking for horror, go somewhere else, seriously. Again, I apologize to those who think it was good.
