Kirby and the Amazing Mirror Review
Swoop! Out of nowhere Kirby comes down in his warp star. He sucks up a Bomber. CRASH! Destroys everything on screen.
Overall 9.5/ 10: I absolutely loved this game ever since I was a kid. I loved transforming into different things.
Graphics 10/ 10: The graphics were great. The color balance was good and it didn't have any glitches. I also liked that you couldn't change your Kirby's color. Throughout the game there are hidden bonus items. If you collect the bonus items they go to your collection which can be found on the title screen. Some of the bonus items are spray cans and you can actually spray it on Kirby. This gives the player a lot more options. They even put sprites for each of Kirby's copies. I especially loved the Sword and Burning copy. They were hands down two of the best copies in the game.
Sound 10/ 10: The sound was pretty cool too. Almost each area had it's own music. I really liked the boss battle music. It really sucked me in. Once again, no lag or glitches. Just clear music all the way through. The sound was the same as the music. Almost each attack had its own sound. I give it a 10 since there was no area that I thought could improve.
Addictiveness 7/ 10: This game was addicting up until I beat it. I came back to play it often though. It must of been 2 or 3 years when it finally started to get boring for me. Most games I don't like to replay a lot after I beat them. What got me coming back often were the copy abilities. I loved finding them all and developing strategies to use. What made it even more addicting for me was that there was more than one attack for each copy.
Story 6/ 10: The story wasn't really stated in the game I believe. Here is the main concept. There is another place near dream land called the Mirror World. The entrance is a mirror and is above dream land. If you make a wish to the mirror it will come true. The wish comes true by the mirror reflecting the dream into the real world. Then Dark Mind uses the mirror to make copies of the monsters and to increase his army. Meta Knight comes to try and stop him, but is bested by a copy of him copy Dark Meta Knight. After Kirby comes to try and help, but Dark Meta Knight comes and chops him into four different Kirby's. Dark Meta Knight then chops the mirror into eight Mirror Shards and then he puts them all over Mirror World. Now it's up to you and your three other Kirby companions to find the Mirror Shards and save Dream Land and Meta Knight.
The actual story was good, but they didn't say much about it in the game. They could of put some sort of text in it to give us a general idea.
Depth 10/ 10: This was pretty lengthy. It had a lot of different worlds and different maps. It also had a big collection you can fill. Like I said above you can collect items and they will go to your collection. They had things like music, spray cans, and Maps. In addition you may also find items scattered around. These include 1-ups, lollipops (this makes you invincible for a few seconds), and food.
They also put in mini games. There were three in all. They include Speed Eaters, Crackity Hack, and Kirby Wave Ride. In Speed Eaters you had to eat the food before the other three Kirby's, in Crackity Hack you had to punch a crack in the ground the farthest, and in Kirby Wave Ride you had to Ride on a wave and get to the goal the fastest. My favorite mini game was Kirby Wave Ride. It was easy for me to get bonuses. I remember waiting at least 20 seconds for the other Kirby's to catch up to me. I don't think they could of improved on anything about the depth of the game.
Difficulty 6/ 10: This game was fairly easy. There were a few times where you may run low on health, but thats not often. The only real challenge are the boss fights. If you are in a boss battle be sure to keep your distance. If you touch the boss you will lose health. They also often make sudden movements. Now there are some bosses that are really easy, but some others like Dark Mind are hard. I remember when I first fought Dark Mind. I died a bunch of times, but I finally managed to beat him. After a really easy game I wasn't expecting a hard boss.
The only reason I didn't give this a 10/ 10 was because of the story. I thought they could of done more with it. If you liked this review be sure to rate it and comment! Your support helps.

Practice your skills in new side games, such as Crackity Hack and Speed Eaters. In addition to new abilities and subgames, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror also introduces new multiplayer modes.
Kirby & the Amazing Mirror Description: Kirby stars in his first four-player simultaneous adventure! There's trouble in neighboring Mirror World, but when Kirby goes off to help, he's attacked by a shadowy Meta Knight and split into four colored versions of himself! The four Kirbies set off for Mirror World on an exciting new adventure!
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is set out in a Metroid-style manner. The game features one sprawling overworld that players gradually uncover as they progress through the game. It's also possible to discover hidden treasure chests that show the player the overworld layouts, life bar extensions, different colors for Kirby, and unlockable music and sound effects.
Amazing Mirror uses the familiar 'suck-in and copy' mechanic of other Kirby games, but the addition of having four players able to co-operate simultaneously can make the game easier or more difficult - depending on the situation. There are also three mini-games to play via the Game Boy Advance Single-Cart Multiplayer feature.

During the game, you will encounter Master Hand, who is the boss on Super Smash Brothers and one of the bosses on Super Smash Brothers Melee. After you kill him, he gives you Smash power, which gives you several abilities mixed up. However, these abilities are in the same control sequences and combinations as Kirby's controls for Super Smash Bros.

I have played this for real and beat the whole game, I beat the final boss, unlocked all portals, then I was wondering what to do after, and I couldn't find my GameBoy or my DS or the game. I have played this for over 4 years and it has been one of my most favorite games ever. Thank you for bringing back a good memory from my life back to me :)

I had a hard copy of this before, and loved it! this falls a little short tough, as half the time, a game's enemies don't kill you, the server lag kills you.
oh well, the pink puff's cuteness more than makes up for it!

@Coakor, it was anime, and probably made in in the Korean Region, in Korea they tend to refer most things to he/she/it way too many times. But, I guess if the Wiki explained it, then I guess it will be true that Kirby is indeed a male.

This game kind of reminds me of Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. Because, Kirby at first was one, but the Dark Meta Knight's sword split Kirby into four with different colours. The same thing kind of happened in Four Swords, except Link took the sword.

I still got this for my GBA. the controls are alot harder on a keyboard than the actual game system. great game, beat dark mind plenty of times as a kindergartener, but I don't think I'll be playing on vizzed often
