Harvest Moon: More Friends Of Mineral Town nayzek9
Harvest Moon is my favorite game title, well... besides Pokémon and alot of other things... But today I'll review More Friends of Mineral Town. This is the female version on the game. Graphics : 10.
The graphics are OK. This is a subject to change if you don't understand the graphical idea, sorta like me :).
Sound : 8
The music adds to the addictiveness. It's so awesome for just a simple tune! The only one I don't like is winter cuz, the only thing you can do is woo the bachelor you are after. Then again, if you were after Rick (one of the bachelors I'll explain later in the review) you could raise his heart level up alot, because he really likes eggs (I'll also explain the Heart Point system, too), even if you make them Spa-Boiled. Winter lowered sounds grade.
Addictiveness : 10!
This game is so addictive! Every chance I get, I play it! Now this may just be my opinion but if I were famous-ish on youtube, I'd make a huge awesome review! You should play it and leave this. Leave, I mean it. Not going? Ok, lets continue.
Story - 10
The story is simple : You have a bad life, per say, and you want something "exiting". You look in the newspaper and you see and ad for MT (Mineral Town, I thought it was mountain lol me being an idiot back then but lets continue) Realtor. You call in and the next day you see a run-down farm. Thomas, the mayor, comes and makes fun of you for falling for cheesy advertisement. You hit him with anger, and you can keep doing it forever. You can choose weather you're gonna run the farm, if you say no, INSTANT GAME OVER! I learned the hard way, and for fun once. So you run the farm and its the next day. The mayor comes by and gives you a little run down. You can choose to listen some more, or not. So there is alot of villagers to list so I'll list bachelors and bachelorettes.
Bachelors :
Doctor : The town's doctor. Favorite Item : Milk
Cliff : He is a wandering traveler who has found himself in Mineral Town. Favorite Gift : Curry Rice
Grey (How I spell it, but it's really Gray ) : An apprentice blacksmith under his grandfather's wing. Favorite Gift : Baked Corn
Rick : A rancher. His mother owns the area to own chickens. Favorite gift : Spa Boiled Eggs.
Kai : A person who dislikes his family. Only visits in summer. Favorite Gift : Pineapples
Bachelorettes :
Popuri : Rick's sister. Favorite Gifts :
Omelet Rice, Omelet, Scrambled Eggs, Strawberry recipes, all

Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town Review Alexia19
This is a great game for an experienced Harvest Moon fan. Even for those who have never played any prior prequels, this game is easy to pick up on. The new and improved graphics are amazing. And for girl players such as myself this is an ideal game to play during some spare time. Addicting and fun this is a easy-going game, takes a lot of patience at first but is so worth it. It takes the Harvest Moon basics to a whole new level with improved graphics. Planting seeds, harvesting crops, and taking care of animals, while all the meanwhile making new friends with the locale's. And hopefully finding that special boy. ^_^ All with a great music sound track and better graphic designs compared to previous Harvest Moon games. So please kick back and enjoy!

I want to start this off by saying: I started out playing Harvest Moon N64 a long time ago. I was automatically addicted to the game. I spent many hours and pulled a lot of all nighters due to this game. At first I was sceptical that a farming game would be any fun at all. Since then I have went on to play every Harvest Moon made, including the very first ones.
Graphics: Rated 8
I rated the graphics an 8 because they are not as great as most games. Although I love the graphics I know a lot of people are automatically turned off by the lack of great graphics in this game. Don't let that stop you from playing this game though. Good graphics don't mean its a good game. The graphics are meant to be more cute than anything else. I rather enjoy the fact of the low graphics and I think it adds character to the game.
Sound: Rated 9
The only reason I didn't give the sound a full 10 was because at times it can be a tad bit annoying after you have heard it way to many times. I, personally, enjoy the music and tend to find myself humming the song from the N64 version of Harvest Moon quite often. The music on Harvest Moon just adds to the game. I enjoy the music and how it switches depending on where you go, on festival days and during each season.
Addictiveness: Rated: 10
I have seen this game with lower ratings than this for how addicting it tends to be. I don't understand how. I have and probably always will find Harvest Moon to be addicting, and this version of the game is no different. I enjoy planting crops for each season, getting new animals, taking care of those animals and wooing my future spouse. Its over all addicting because there is so much to do and there is always that next house upgrade or that next item you want to get.
Story: Rated 10
I have always enjoyed the over all story of Harvest Moon. Buying or inheriting a run down farm that you have to fix up to its former glory. Its just interesting to see the farm from when you first start to the thriving farm you make it into.
Depth: Rated 9
I rated this game a 9 because there is a lot to do in it. You can raise animals or grow crops. If you don't like that idea then just go fishing or mine for rare ores. Woo your future spouse and go make friends. Participate in the festivals. Get house upgrades and buy new products from the stores. There is so many options on what to do.
Difficulty: Rated 7
I can't rate this game higher than a 7. Where as I have talked to people that found Harvest Moon to be rather difficult, I never found it to be that hard. It can be challenging at times to keep up with everything you need to do once you get yourself started. Finding time in the day to take care of animals, water crops and still collect things to sell can be difficult at times. Also managing to work enough to get some money but not so much that you pass out is a bit difficult at times but overall I don't find it challenging.

I really love Harvest Moon from the first version to the newest. Unlike other farming games, Harvest Moon is more fun because of the festivals, the different character events, getting married, having a baby and many more. And even though sometimes you get tired of harvesting and watering your plants, the water sprites are always there to help you so it makes life easier in the farm and it gives you a free time to get to know the other villagers more. Not really a challenging game but for player's like me who wants to win every festival, it takes a lot of work to win it but it's all worth it.^^ I hope they continue to make more Harvest Moon games, who knows maybe the next Harvest Moon might be different than all the Harvest Moon games :D

Ive been playing harvest moon ever since i can remember. This harvest moon was the game of change. This was the first game where you could be a girl, at least as far as i know of. This version of harvest moon took me a while to understand the controls, but overall its a pretty decent game. This version is mainly crop based. You can obviously own animals, however the game is pretty much based around farming. The animal care is very easy, and you cant build extra coops for the chickens or barns for the cows and sheep (unlike the harvest moons that came out for the DS) Animals are nice to have in this game, but you will earn the most income from your fruits and vegetables. The story line is pretty interesting. Your character use to live in the city and had her own apartment. She figured that there wasn't any excitement in her life, and decided to work on a farm because she was mailed the brochure. You can figure out the rest of the story line as you play. Ive always been a big fan of harvest moon, and this game was no exception. I love it. Have fun!
