This patch is interesting for a few reasons. For one, it�s a complete, more faithful (at least according to the author) translation of Final Fantasy 6. Whether or not this is a good thing and was worthwhile will be left to the discretion of the viewer. The hacking work is superb, though, that can�t be denied. Another interesting thing about it is that the author has attempted to fix a number of bugs that had passed by Square�s testers and lodged themselves in the original game.

The fixes in this patch are as follows: This patch will fix the Psycho Cayenne (Cyan) bug. In the unpatched version, if Cayenne uses his second Sword Skill, gets turned into a Kappa, and is revived, he'll attack endlessly the next time anybody takes action. This bug causes glitches and freezes so applying this patch will fix this problem.

This patch fixes the Equip bug, which causes the game to allow you to equip items at the wrong places.

This patch will fix the Evade bug. In the unpatched game, the game completely ignores the Evade stat and instead uses the Magic Evade stat for physical attacks as well as magic attacks. Applying this patch will allow the game to use the Evade stat once again.

This patch will fix the Ripple bug. In the unpatched game, the Ripple skill (which is an enemy skill/Memorized tech that the Leech Frog and Black Force enemies as well as Stragos can use) exchanges all status conditions, including Tina's Transform status and Shadow's Interceptor Guard. By applying this patch, only normal status ailments will be exchanged.

This patch fixes the Vanish & Death bug. In the unpatched game, when you cast Vanish and then Death on an enemy, it automatically kills them, even if they are immune to the death status. This patch will fix this problem.
