Ivalice- A new tale!   Jimmityjam
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a top-down strategy based game with few things that make it special, but quite a lot of things that make a play through worthwhile. The story of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance revolves around Marche, a young school student who is timid and looks surprisingly like Ramza from the original Final Fantasy Tactics (go figure). Marche lives in the town of Ivalice in a modern setting, but when his friend brings over a magical tome the world transforms into a completely different Ivalice. One with monsters and Moogles! Your adventure begins with you joining a clan where you start as the leader (because you are just that BA ;]). With 300 missions, a completely custom made team as far as classes and abilities go, as well as several different classes to choose from. While not nearly as in depth as FFT it is much longer and much easier for the casual gamer. If you like strategy games as well as RPG's this game is definitely worth a try.  Now it's time to get into my overall outlook on FFTA.
Overall-8
This game is worth a play through if you are at all a fan of the FF series, while there is nothing that makes it particularly spectacular it is a very fun game that has enough depth to keep you playing, it is a game everyone could play and enjoy. If you are a hardcore gamer however and are looking for a game with a lot of depth, it may bore you quickly because the game play is quite a bit repetitious.
Graphics-8
For the Game boy Advance this game has amazing graphics, truly. Everything is smooth and very clear and the sprites are decently detailed. The reason it gets an 8 is because there are only a few different animations, and very little variation in textures. However it is still nice to look at and the few problems I have with it are common in the Advance world.
Sound-9
It's the good ol' FF mixes just like in any other game, meaning clear crisp sound quality and many different sounds. It has Fun battle music as well as familiar story music.
Addictiveness-7
This only gets a 7 because, while this game definitely has a replay value it is very easy to feel the repetition and grow bored if you are a hardcore gamer. Not only that, but if you have a little bit of FFTA knowledge beforehand you can earn all of the worthwhile items, as well as gaining new recruits that you don't really need; one party is all you need to level and it may be all you WANT to level. There are race specific classes, but no class restrictions meaning a white mage can become a black mage and that black mage can become a soldier and that soldier can become a fighter in any order so you wouldn't need new recruits to make things interesting. There are 300 missions (over half are optional and you CAN mess up to where you can't complete certain optional missions in a single  play through but it's hard to mess up), a lot of different abilities, different items, as well a  unique map system in which you choose the placement of locations in Ivalice and if you do it right you get extra treasure. So this game definitely has mixed replay value.
Story-6
The story is about a few school children who get magically teleported into the FF world, once there they are suddenly fit to fight a bunch of monsters and survive in this harsh world of battling. They hardly question it, and they are fairly immature and whiny at points. That being said the story isn't bad but it is nothing fresh to me.
Depth-8
Plenty of quests, abilities, quite a few differing classes, a clan ranking system, and a map that allows you to shape Ivalice!
The main reason I play this game is because of it's depth, while I dislike the fact that your world map is a point and click to location setup, it is still in depth in many other ways. There are secret characters, a monster system that isn't so in depth but you can still capture monsters and trade them as well as use them in battle.
Difficulty-6
For casual gamers FFTA will present quite a challenge to some, but for hardcore gamers, especially ones who like strategy games, this game will be much more relaxed. The most unique thing about this game is it's Law system, Where there are certain rules that you must abide by or you will be flagged either a yellow card or a red card, yellow being a minor offense and red being very serious offense. Both you and your enemies can get flagged, and you can eventually manipulate the Laws (cards) that are in play. The penalty for a red card is jail. If your main dies or gets Jailed, game over man. This game takes some learning but otherwise is not difficult. Now, is it difficult to be an expert? Yes,  I'd say its very hard, but is it hard to beat , no not at  all.
Final words- This game is unlike other strategy games out there in it's depth and ability system, it is a strategy FF hybrid to the max. If you play it you will most likely finish it, although I'm very doubtful there are any die hard fans out there.
P.S. I still need to thoroughly proof read.

Something TOTALLY different...   steel_attacker
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance really is full of surprises. To be honest, I HATE both Final Fantasy games and Strategy games. But this game kind of changed it all. I am also writing a review, something I've never done before. So, like other standard reviews, let's talk about the game...
GRAPHICS: 8
The graphics are pretty much the same as the other GBA games. But they did a good job with the graphics, yes indeed. The weapons are all given their own different, unique designs. The animation from attacks are different from each other and it really is fun to try out the different attacks just for the sake of seeing the animation (or colours, depending on your age and maturity...). All in all, the graphics deserve and 8.
SOUND: 8
Yay sounds. Don't you just love repetitive music, disturbing you concentration every other minute, while you're planning how to get your allies to stay alive for the rest of the battle? The music was kind of distracting for me, but it was...what's that word? Catchy? Suitable? Let's go with suitable. The music was kind of suitable. It gives the feel of really being on a quest to rescue your friends from the madness of being in someone's dream. The music changes a bit in battle, so you can imagine the fight in your head, albeit with an invisible orchestra. The sounds of the battle, such as the clash of swords and the explosion of magic were perfectly chosen. I'd give another 8 for this.
ADDICTIVENESS: 9
I kept stopping while I was playing the game. So why the high addictiveness rating, you might ask? I kept playing it again. Considering I hate strategy and Final Fantasy games to begin with, this game really is addicting. 9 is the score, and I won't change it. I might pick this game up from beneath the metaphorical bed, and blow the metaphorical dust from it and play it again in a few more years...
STORY: 9
Almost forgot the most important thing: The Story. What's a good game without a good story? *Spoiler* You get transported to your new friend's dream and have to build up a strong clan to get yourself out of this poop load of a mess. As an added bonus, you compete with other clans to get fame and etc. Although the story might be a bit overused, it was OK to me since there were tons of plot twists.
DEPTH: 9
So, with many hidden jobs/ classes, weapons and bonuses, why wouldn't I rate the depth a 9? I'll most probably replay the whole game again to unlock the secret missions and jobs. The jobs were the main reason I gave this a 9. Around 35+ different type of classes, and around 10 attacks for each job, do the maths and you get a deep (?) game, good enough for a strategy game.
DIFFICULTY: 7
A strategy game has to be difficult, or it won't be any fun. You're attacks may miss or you may become a frog, get blinded so you miss even more or just plain unlucky to be critically hit. You might want to quit every 5 minutes, but that's all part of the game, right?
OVERALL: 10
All in all, this is one of the best games ever. You, the reader of this review right now, should probably give it a shot. A research from the International University of Me shows that 95% of people who start this game will play it till the end. Even if you think you'll hate it, you should play it. Because, after all, this game is something TOTALLY different...

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance   greyson
By my gameplay opinion this was the best final fantasy yet that I have seen. Some enemies were old some were new like the boss fight trying to beat Ritz. A basic and modernized version of squarenix's Chrono Trigger it has many of the same features. The many enemies are such as a bladebitter a new enemy to a flan an old enemy and a boss like Mateus the final crystal guardian the totema of humans. Mateus or Addramelech are probably the hardest bosses of the game because you find them unexpectedly. This game has a variety of gameplay modes too such as multiplayer or solo. In multiplayer you can fight you friend or trade mission items and every time you play together you get new trade items by nono, montblancs bigger brother. The graphics weren't the greatest things I've seen but the story was amazing all the same. This was possibly one of the easier games for younger kids because it is a simple strategy game that I beat when I was seven even. The final boss was hardest of all naturally because it was a three in one go battle sequence. You fought Llednar Twem first then you fought Remedi the queen in battle form and them finally Li-Grim the final battle (excluding the side battle where you had to fight the judges to get Cid) as the three battle sequence. I found that Remedi in her battle form was the easy part because she had only one attack. It was strong but easy to avoid if you blinded her. In Li-Grim form she was hardest because of her alpha attack and not to mention she could change the laws with her amber gleam attack. The story was easy, you had several forms of a race that you could unlock by mastering abilities. The bangaa was the best of the races in my opinion. They had a bishop form, gladiator, defender, or even a templar. In several boss fights I found that using the totemas if you had one was the best way to defeat the several enemies in a boss fight. Finally I believe this game should get a thumbs up for overall rating because in conclusion this game was simple and yet challenging.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Review   Marcmoney
Overall - 9
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is an awesome game to play.  It is related to Fire Emblem, but it is a whole lot different.  I really enjoyed this game.  I was looking up for some stretegic games that were similar to Fire Emblem and I found this game.  The game is not that bad, really.  I just prefer this than any other games from GBA and under.  I've always wanted to try Final Fantasy 6 and 8 cause I have never seen them before.  Anyways, this game is quite different from the others and I would think that it has good quality in the game.
Graphics - 9
The graphics are very well-made.  Very 3D, but there was no big graphical flashings of something that would indicate an attack, just small bits of flashes for the attacks, very boring.
Sound - 9
The sound is awesome.  The sound effects and the music sounds wonderful.  They are good, but some of it were just childish, just saying.  Other than that, it is an okay thing.
Addictiveness - 7
I would play this a few times.  It is just so fun to play cause it is a strategic game.  In some parts of the game, it would be boring for me and I would just stop right there and play it later.  I just hate doing the little pathetic jobs like getting this and getting that.  It drives me crazy sometimes. :S
Story - 10
The story is perfect.  It is one of my best interests in the game.  The story in the beginning was the best part in the game when everything started to turn into a Final Fantasy game.  They even talked about a game called Final Fantasy.  It was just perfect.  The best story in Final Fantasy history...so far. :P
Depth - 8
It has a lot of things to do in the game.  It is the strategy game of Fire Emblem and a game that is, of course, Final Fantasy.  There are equipping, skills, jobs, etc.  I am so surprised that it would have all of this in the game.
Difficulty - 5
The game was hard for me to play because I was so confused about the missions and the laws. :S I really was, I could not understand some of them and most of them were ridiculous.  I just hated the battle part cause you could move this way and can hit them and get something if you kill them, which I really did not understand, so I just did not care about it at all.  So many things in this game that can be complicated.
Wrap Things Up...
This game is awesome to play and to listen.  I highly recommend trying this game out if you are a Final Fantasy fan.  I believe that this game needs to be a little specific and then it may be a great game to play. :) If you think about it, it sounds like it would be similar to Final Fantasy 11 with the people that look similar. :P

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Square, dear old Square...   TheGameLegend
So, today begins my quest of becoming a reviewer on Vizzed and what better way to start it with Square's break through of a game which created a small little franchise on the original Final Fantasy series. Now, who am I to talk about the mighty Square? Just one of their customers, and like everybody knows, the customer is always right. Well, usually. Now, Final Fantasy, as we know it, is considered as a turn-based RPG, especially for the retros. I mean, apart from the newer Final Fantasy's (or is it Fantasies....? ._.) such as Final Fantasy XV, all of them are pretty much turn-based, strategic RPGs with the main role of fighting through hordes of monsters, taking XP from the said monsters to make you stronger and to level up and master new techniques which will aid you in your quest to save the world or kill everybody or whatever Square thinks of at the last minute. "Oh, how about this!" Says Square. "We get an RPG, make them move like pieces on a chessboard, give them special attacks to make it fun and allow the user to change 'Jobs' to make him learn even more techniques!" Oh wow, that's brilliant Square, I mean, are you positive that you're not mixing up Advance Wars with Final Fantasy? "Nope! This is totally original!" Yeah, I heard that the people who made Ogre tactics - Knight of Lodis said the same thing. "AND WE'LL BEGIN THE STORY WITH A KID GETTING TRANSPORTED INTO A MAGICAL WORLD! " ... You've out done yourself there Square. Now, onto the Review.
I give this game
8.2 out of 10.
It's not a bad game! Not bad at all, in fact, it was quite intriguing. Any who, let's just begin the review!
Graphics : Giving it an 8!
Did I have a problem with this games graphics? No, and I think Square also has no problem with the graphics as they used the same graphics for the original Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSX for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA. I mean, if you want to develop a game, please make sure that you don't use the same graphics for the sequel.... I guess it is a sequel? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, the graphics were good for GBA, has a bit of polish and a bit of innovation on the side, but overall, it's just a plate filled with originality, and I'm saying originality in a bad way, not good. Yes, making a games graphics original is good, but it just can't be the same. I would do a Call of Duty joke here, but I think that's repetitive.......... That deserves a massive applause. Give me a reward for the best joke in Vizzed this instant!
Sound : Giving it a 7!
The sound really has its RPG element intertwined with the dominating music of exploration to the Happy-Go-Lucky stops at the bar to the Grab your Sword and Shield type of music as you begin your battle. But as I said in most games, sound is usually the very first thing that pushes you away from the game. The music is good, don't get me wrong! But I think if it keeps repeating the same tune over and over again, it deadens the game significantly. You can't really expect much music wise for retro consoles, the SEGA chant at the beginning of the Genesis version of Sonic the Hedgehog took 1/8th of the cartridge's space, and that's just an Intro.
Addictiveness? : Giving it a 7!
There are 4 types of games in the world.
The game in which when it's over, it's over! Just complete the game already and throw it in the bin with the stash of unfinished Nachos, your old rusty keyboard and your pirated copy of Golden Axe - Beast Rider. The game in which you just play it again to get all the achievements. You know, you just wanna get everything before throwing it also in a bin. Or, if it's worthy enough, sell it. Another kind is the type of game in which you'd repeat in once you're bored, you know, just playing it for the LOLs and for the great banter around it, even though there actually isn't any banter at all. And finally, the type of game that pulls you in to win everything you can! Didn't get that X Ultra 2000 Beast Killing Blade of Fury? Grab your sword, hack 'n' slash until you get around 2 million coins and unlock that little wooden stick! This game, luckily, is the 3rd type of game that I described. You know, you keep it around in the drawer beneath your gaming set and take it out to play it for a few hours, just to have a bit of fun.
Story : I think it's time to insult Square in any way possible! Giving it a 8!
Let me just get a hold of the story before giving Square my personal banter! Boy called Marche Radiuju ( Or 'whatever you want his name to be' Radiuju) who is the new kid at the school known as St. Ivalice which is inside the town of Ivalice. Not cliche at all. Anyways, he befriends 2 kids in his new school, Ritz and Mewt who both have their own personal problems. Ritz's real hair color is white and she pretty much gets bullied for it, but her tomboy lifestyle does speak out for itself, Mewt is being bullied.... A lot. Mainly because he's incredibly small and, well, puny. Oh, and his dad is out of work.. Marche just fits the puzzle all together as he has a pretty rough-ish lifestyle. Being the new kid and having a handicapped brother really isn't great, is it? Anyways, all 3 of them, with Marche's brother, Doned (I think that's his name...), read a book which is ironically called Final Fantasy. Anyways, they get transported to the world of Final Fantasy in the country, not town, of Ivalice. Oh, and if that's not bad enough, Marche and his clan (Which he joins in with a Moogle called Montblanc) gets attacked by hordes of creatures of that place in which he must slay, Ritz has her own clan for some reason and Mewt becomes the prince of Ivalice. So, the story basically goes to say, Marche wants to go back home, so he has to destroy some crystals to break the rope between the fantasy world and the real world. Not confusing at all. Square isn't a bad company, but the story was so predictable that even my nephew, aged 3, could understand his mission before he even saw the crystals which control the world. "Hey guys, I'm the Square chairman, I've got a new idea for a Final Fantasy game! Let's just do the same thing we do for every game! Make it about 1 or a band of main characters who have to destroy something in order to get what they truly want in their life!!! Genius, isn't it?" No Square, it's what you do in every game. Give them a task, complete the task, guess what? You win! Now just free roam until you bore your brains out!
Depth : Giving it an 8!
The Final Fantasy series are always filled with depth. Even though the story is quite repetitive, it goes on to actually create such a dramatic atmosphere, filled with detail. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance? Well, it's not as deep as the other Final Fantasy's. Yes, it does make you feel emotional after seeing that all Mewt wants is to be happy, but that doesn't really give it depth! Good story does not equal perfect depth, but it did go deep enough for a younger age RPG.
Difficulty? : 7. Just 7.
If you've read my reviews before, you must have seen how in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon : Red Rescue Team I did not save my game and I am not the type of person who saves the game whilst they're enjoying it. So, I did the exact same thing with FFTA and guess what happened? Marche died at the very first few missions, game over. I had to flip my keyboard like one of those memes, fury and outrage controlled me. But, hey! That's what you get when you don't save! See, I said the very FIRST few missions, your characters have low HP but pretty strong attacks for a person just starting off. It did tick me off that missions could get annoying with the incredible amount of huge monsters who have attacks with 1-hit KO's but luckily, I always have a white mage by my side. Anyways, the difficulty in this game slightly moves it on the right, between a Core game and a Hardcore game. Basically, if there was a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being casual and 10 being hardcore, this'll easily get a 5. Maybe a 6 if the game annoyed you that much.
Well, that's it for my review! Overall, I'd say the 8.2 out of 10 is a fair review! This game wasn't perfect but it wasn't far from reaching perfection! It's a good game for people who like a bit of plot and just want to power-up before moving to the next part of the story, just in case of not saving and death... Legit, I had 1 mission, fighting 4 Dragon-like monsters, they insta-killed my whole clan, had to restart the whole game AGAIN! -.- Trust me, this game will annoy you in certain times!
Anyways, please give me a comment of how good I did for my review! Criticize me if you want! This is the first time I've done a review in about a year and I've finally learnt from my mistakes! If you like the review, give me a 5 star rating! My quest to becoming a Trusted member or an Elite will never end!
Thanks, and be sure to follow me and get updated on my next reviews! Anyways, time to go play some more retros! ^.^

Zan's FFTA Review   zanthehero
Game Description:
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a turn based strategy RPG.
It starts off with a snowball fight at school where the MC meets Ritz and Mewt
who come over to MC's house with a magical book. While they all sleep the
world around them is transformed into Final Fantasy
The graphics are really good. I would say it is one of the best games
on the Game Boy Advance. The levels look really good and I like the way
most of the characters look.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance sounds pretty good but the sound does get old
after awhile. The music and battle effects were alright but could have been better.
I would say this game is pretty addictive I used to own it on my Game Boy Advance
so I was glad I found it again. I would almost definitely play it a few more times.
Storyline wise I really liked it. It would be cool if something like that happened to our
world. There was even a few twists and turns in the story which really made it interesting.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance has a lot to offer. There are several different races of characters,
several jobs for each race, a total of 301 missions, some secret characters, and a few storyline
characters.
Overall Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a great game with lots of options for customizing
your characters and definitely worth playing. Normally I don't like Final Fantasy but I really
like this game.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Review
Overall - 7
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is an interesting game to say the least.  It is very different compared to other final fantasies. For me, this is a bad thing. I know that there are a number of people who enjoy this game, but its just not my type of game. THAT DOES NOT MEAN ITS A BAD GAME.

Graphics - 9
The graphics are done pretty decent, everything is 3D, My only complaint is the map, its is a little too simple, but I don't know what I would have done to improve it. Most of the graphics on spells and attacks are really simple (a simple swipe of the sword), but the summons are pretty decent.
Sound - 6
I really didn't care for the sound, it bored me. You hear an attack, and the response is simply the sound someone makes when they get punched in the stomach. Could it get more interesting? I didn't like the music that much either. Others may like it more.
Addictiveness - 7
It is fairly addictive, I know I wanted to finish the game. A lot of the rules implicated regularly in battle frustrated me, making me not want to play as often (that is why the points were subtracted).
Story - 6
I'm giving you my opinion! The story is cheesy. I simply didn't like it. This is a final fantasy game! Where's the emotion! Basically, you as a child are stuck in a final fantasy game. You want out, your friends want to stay.
Depth - 6
It are a lot of things you can do (quests, fights to level, etc) to do in the game.  It takes a while to beat, but part of this is because the battles take SOO LONG. Quantity of hours does not make up for quality in my mind. You can level different jobs etc, making it have a little more.
Difficulty - 6
This game really isn't that hard, the laws just make things obnoxious. Lets say you forget about one law and cast an illegal spell. Your guy is now in jail and you are out for a few fights. Its simply frustrating!
In conclusion this game is ok, maybe worth a play through. If you are going to play, do yourself a favor and play on vizzed so you can speed up the fights. Save yourself a lot of time. Don't go in to the game expecting Final Fantasy, you will be sorely disappointed. It is a completely different game.

Awsome game!   Ddeltafox
Now you see this is a Turn-Baced RPG where you can get paople to help aid your quest in your own home town. By a child named Mewt, Marchie's (you) hometown has been turned into a game called "Final Fantasy." Now you must find a way to get back home and the only way of doing so is by breaking the "cristals" that keep this universe inline. Also all of your friends... Mewt, Doned (your brother),and Ritz (school friend) have all been transformed too and are ready to fight. But not Mewt! Mewt is the prince. So now he hates you! Now you must find a way to cure the world of the magic that has been cast apon it and now you must find a way to bring back your home town.
(User note. Be shure to save often useing the f2 key. If you saveing in the game itself you might lose some data and may not get the same 2 people again. keep that in mind. and if you dont like Turned-Baced combat....... this is NOT a game for you.)

Hmmm   dumptruck
This game differs much from its predecessor in many ways.  Overall the game is a lot of fun and the class and job abilities are very convenient which keeps it extremely addictive to fans of never-ending abilities. I myself cannot leave any stone unturned and their are many quests to complete. The graphics are negotiable being that its platform is limited but for what it does offer especially the totema attacks is quite sophisticated and beautiful. Adding a "esper" element was a good element to keep the game interesting. The sound.... horrible, I am trying not to be over critical but Final Fantasy games are renowned for their musical prowess. I was, in fact, a little more than disappointed.  Addictiveness however has me by the ahem... yea so....this game while not being overly in depth creates addictiveness by basically offering endless quests. I cannot seem to stop constantly up-grading, equipping, buying , selling etc.... very good for those who enjoy constant chaos and time tables. The story was a let down having played the PS version and how dramatic the roles were. Final Fantasy gamers myself mainly love the embellishment and prose if you will and it's charismatic personalities. Where are the sad exposes? The dramatic interludes? The fight of good versus evil is not exactly overwhelming but if you like less interference with that in your games then this one can satisfy you. The depth correlates directly to the story and then ironically does not according to addictiveness. The balance goes hand in hand. The difficulty? Ant avid gamer or FF fan should have no problems whatsoever with game, although I will cite that the equipment screens are hard to navigate when buying or using  new equipment and not being able to see the plus minus ratios unless you go back and forth from store to equip, kind of a pain in the butt really.  If you're into this game and have figured it out you'll know what I mean.
Parting shot;
This game is overall worth putting time into but I question the fact of ending up totally satisfied at the end feeling the consummation of completing another FF game. I plain words I hope I feel fulfilled when I finish for the amount of effort it takes.
Thanks for listening!  -Dumptruck.
P.S. For anyone who cares my favorite FF quote is from FF3 when Shadow says "The reaper is always one step behind me." Where is that  in this game???!!?!?

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Review   Tekky7
I have to say this game is one of my
all time favorites for the Game Boy Advance system. A very strategic
installment in the hopefully never-ending Final Fantasy series, this
game appealed to me more than you would expect. I loved every bit of
it, the storyline, the customization, and the weapons and magic. The
unique idea of using weapons to teach a character a new spell or
ability was highly fascinating, as you need the best and most rare
weapons to learn the best and most useful abilities. Combos were
also implemented, and were a very easy way to deal the maximum amount
of damage, 999 HP, so long as the other clan members participating in
the combo attack had a combo ability equipped and were in a certain
range of the target. These were, however, very hard abilities to
learn, as you need the rare Mythril items, which are, if ever,
dropped from random encounters with only the slightest of chances.
Different races provide an incredible amount of customization for
your maximum battle party of six, as different races can become
different jobs that others cannot. This will provide an entertaining
yet lengthy process of teaching Marche and his clan members every
single ability of every single job available to him or her. The few
yet quite acquirable secret characters also appealed to me, with one
of each race, to find using random quest items. They are definitely
worth your time, as they are incredibly good, but they lose their
value in the Post-Game. I hope you enjoyed this astoundingly long
review, and maybe I have convinced you to buy this amazing game with
your own viz. Remember this: I don't give out my 10's lightly.

Best Game Ever!   MegaNerd142
I am so glad that this game is on this website.  I love this game I played and beat it so many times when I was a kid.  Now I can play it whenever I want on this, is awesome.  I love all the characters in the game, I love how the decent the graphics are for such a old game. I also love the music in the whenever I listen to it makes me happy, and the music always fits with what's going on in the story.  The story of the game gets better and better as you get in like meeting Ritz, and finding out mewts father is the leader of the final fantasy world, I just love it all so much.  Also I love how it's not a easy game that can be beaten in a day like most games now a days, it's difficult and also there's always something you can do like fight clans or do side quests.  Like I said in the beginning I'm so glad this game is on this website, because I love it.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Cheat Codes

Glitches

Duplicate Items and Units
To do this trick, you must have two final fantasy tactics advance cartridges and two gameboy advances (or gba sp).

Link the two GBAs and have one person (you) go into any kind of battle. When it's your turn to move, hit B to cancel the menu and press start to open up the sub menu. Now put Save Quit and it'll bring you back to the title. Now load your original data and NOT your battle save. After loading it, now both you and your friends, press start to go into the menu and select the "Link" option. Trade any items or units with your friends and after doing so, reset your game but don't save before doing it otherwise it'll erase your battle save. Now after resetting, load your battle save and you should still be during the battle. Either flee or defeat your foes and check your stuff. If done correctly, you should still have the same item or unit and your friend should have a copy of that item or unit. This will come in handy when trading secret characters or rare items.

Get 2 Sharas
Make sure that you don't do the S.O.S. mission. Complete the game and then get Shara. Now, play the S.O.S. mission. When you get into battle, you will notice that Ritz and Shara will be fighting some monsters. You can also use the 'other' Shara in your clan. And thus, there are 2 Sharas on the battlefield.

Unlockables

Expert Missions
To unlock Expert Missions, beat the game once and save. When you start again, you will have a star next to your name.

Judge Missions Side-Quest
To be able to do the judge missions, you must beat all 300 standard missions and head over to Bervenia Palace to see a quick scene and start the judge missions.

Secret Characters
With the exception of Ezel, you must complete the game once in order to unlock the hidden missions:
• Babus – Clear the Left Behind mission, then enter a town and clear the With Babus mission.
• Cid – Clear all 300 numbered missions.
• Ezel – Choose Gossip in the Card Shop, then clear the Reconciliation mission.
• Ritz – Clear the Mortal Snow mission.
• Shara – Clear the A Maiden's Cry mission, then enter a town.

Unlock the end of game credits
Beat the 300 standard missions and the extra Judge Missions.

Unlock the Semi-Secret characters
These characters are semi-secret, and you get them by having different mission items. Note that the secret characters MIGHT join your clan, but it isn't guaranteed:
• Cheney – Complete a mission with Snake Shield as a mission item
• Eldena – Complete a mission with Elda's Cup as a mission item
• Lini – Complete a mission with The Hero Gaol as a mission items
• Littlevili – Complete the "Clan League" mission
• Pallanza – Complete a mission with Wyrmstone as a mission item
• Quin – Complete the "Missing Professor" mission

Secrets

Easy infinite Angel Rings
1. Accept the mission 'Lutia Mop-up'
2. One of the enemies will have an Angel Ring. Steal it.
3. Retreat from the battle. You will still have the Angel Ring you stole, but the mission can still be taken, and another Angel Ring can be stolen.
4. Accept the mission when it pops up again, and repeat.

Easy level trick-Smile
Get two moogles and have them learn the ability Smile from the Juggler class (learn thief A-abilities). Then have them change to the job you want them to level up as. Have the two use Smile on each other over and over. Once they're a really high level have other units use some action on them to gain massive amounts of experience easy, thereby leveling up your entire clan too!

Infinite Money/Ribbons
After you complete the game and get Shara, take her ribbon, then get rid of her, and when you get her back she will have the ribbon equipped again. Sell for 20000, then repeat. This way you can get as many ribbons, money, and seventh-heavens you want.

I always preferred the original War of the Lions version, but this game is amazing as well.
jerry.ferguson 03-03-16 - 12:19 PM
But there is always the small chance that if you just use the built in feature you may save at a point where you did not mean to. That is why I mentioned the original save process. I use both myself.
Jordanv78 02-22-16 - 02:20 PM
Or you can just use the save-state feature built into the plugin, which allows you to save or load at any point in the game.
jerry.ferguson 02-22-16 - 01:33 PM
In order to save your game when not in combat, when on the map I guess I'd call it, hit the start key(enter for me) and go to save. When in a battle make sure no character is selected or hit the cancel button(B on the gameboy or Z key for me) and hit the

start button. A menu will pop up and save is at the bottom. If you save during a battle and turn off your game you will resume it once you turn it back on.
