Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest Box Description

The planet is dying. Cold winds blow. Fires rage. Trees are withering. In other words, it's brutal out there. Only you can stop the Dark King from consuming the light from the Crystals of Earth. But don't think it'll be a walk in the park. You're up against the sleaziest of slimebags, the evilest of ecto-scum -- we're talking serious monsters here. This isn't your basic shoot-'em-into-smithereens kiddy game, either. You'll have to think your way out of some tough spots. Think you can handle that?

Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest Featured Review

Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest Review by: sjorsxd918 - 7.6/10

GREAT FOR STARTERS
Welcome to my second review.
I've chosen this game because there aren't many reviews from it (only 2 by now) and I played this game a lot for a time so I know where I talk about.

Graphics: The graphics of this game were pretty good, but really not amazing. The part of the graphics that I liked the most is the sprites of the enemies. I really like them to see change when they've got some damage. And sometimes they just look funny if they are almost dead.

Sound: I like the music. Every town song is pretty good and it's well made they chance if you have saved the town. The battle music is not such as good and I must say to everybody who like game music, to stay a lot in the towns. The sounds were all right but it is something that could be way better!

Addictiveness:WHAT? A WEAK POINT AFTER ALL THE SUCCES THIS GAME MADE! OMG!
Yeah exactly, an this is why: You will play this game until the end (or until you get stuck, bored ,sleepy...) because you want to know what will happens next. But if you finished it, it feels like its not the end, but really it is. The end could be a bit better and will maybe ruin the good mood from some people, because they want to see what is coming next.

Story: Finally something that really rock about this game!
It's not really surprising because it's a freaking (spin off from) Final Fantasy game. One of the best series on the whole world!
It's not the best Final Fantasy story, but it's one that's really good (and weird...), but however it's my favourite part of this game and because its my review its going to get a big, nasty 10(+)!

Depth: The depth of this game isn't that bad for me as you maybe think yourself. Many weapons and many kinds of armors and even some spells to search for and some battlefields (which can be used for massive exp farming). And it's a long game with sometimes really to many battles. No serious  there are like 50 of the same enemies in a single dungeon, so you probably want to skip most of them. The dungeons are pretty big, so keep it in mind to check your magic often because you need to heal your party very often.Yes I know, that was more a kind of hint than a thing from depth.

Difficulty: This is the Final Fantasy game to start with. It's a lot easier in comparison with other Final Fantasy games.
But if it is actually your first, this can be a bit harder than you maybe think when you read this (it was my first FF game BTW)
Sometimes you are just overpowered in this game, I mean jeez 4 enemies all one hit kill with a nice new spell you just found.
That's another reason why I think this game is easy.

My  Experiences: This was actually a beautiful game in the beginning, but later on it only get worse (not bad, just worse).
And the upgrades of the weapons aren't that much better.I really beat only like 2 battlefields because they're stupid in my opinion, you beat it and you get........a bit extra xp...WTF!(you get some spells and money sometimes, but still...).
The final boss was really to easy for me, but I'm not going to spoil that.
That was it for now.......BYE!

Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest Game Description

Focus Tower is the center of the world and balances the forces of the world. However 4 monsters have taken the 4 elemental crystals (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind) for their own use, and also taken the 4 keys that for doors inside of Focus Tower. With the balance disrupted, disasters befall the world. A young boy by the name of Benjamin finds his home village destroyed. Meeting a mysterious old man while trying to escape from earthquakes, he soon learns that he is the prophesized hero and the only one who can save the world. Benjamin must recover the 4 crystals, unlock Focus Tower and defeat the ultimate monster before the 5th crystal, the Crystal of Life is corrupted.

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest is an RPG game, shown from an overhead view for movement within areas and using a 3rd person view for battles. The game is divided into "areas" on the world map between which the player can freely jump. These areas are divided into Towns, Dungeons and Battle Areas. Towns feature characters to interact and talk to, Dungeons are mazes filled with monsters and Battle Areas are instant battles with specific monsters, completion of which sometimes awards special items. Inside a Dungeon or Town, the player moves from an overhead view, with he ability to jump, use weapon at whatever is in front of the character, interact with NPCs and attack monsters.

Unlike other Final Fantasy games, there are no random battles, all the enemies are visible to the player (or in specific "Battle Areas"). During battle, the game features turn-based combat (but not the "ATB battle system" used in other Final Fantasy games) where the player chooses from battle commands such as Attack, Defend, Item and Spells.

Also unlike other Final Fantasy games, the player's party only ever consists of two characters: Benjamin and another character who can either by controlled manually or automatically by the AI. Benjamin can collect armor for 4 different parts of the body as well as 4 different kinds of weapons, however the other party member cannot have their equipment changed.

Players can save at any point in the game. If the player is defeated in a battle, the game will let the battle be retried, but any items used will be lost.

Final Fantasy - Mystic Quest Cheat Codes

Battlefield Reset

When fighting in a battlefield against an enemy that can selfdestruct, make sure all but that one enemy is dead. Also, make sure your hp is low enough for the selfdestruct to kill you as well. Wait for the enemy to selfdestruct and kill both of you. The battle will end, you will gain all the experience, gp, and even the battle count will decrease, and then it will ask you to try again. Do so and repeat the previous steps until you see that you have won the prize for defeating all the enemies. Win the next battle and exit. The battlefield icon will look like one that has been cleared out and the battlefield will now say: Battlefield Round 255 of 10.

This has been a very easy game. Money comes very easily and you can are overly strong. When you die you only to restart the battle. I don't think it's a hack, but plays as easy as one could be made to be
