Dragon Ball Z - Buu's Fury Reviews

Bibidi, Babidi, Buu; here's my review!   Mistress
Dragon Ball Z – Buu’s Fury is the third and final installment of the Legacy of Goku series. It takes place several years after the Cell games.
Since I played this game before, I decided: why not make a review! I want to demonstrate that even girls play these types of games, *giggle*. Without further ado, here’s my review!
Graphics - 8
The graphics are good, but kind of weird if you ask me. There’s nothing wrong with the terrains and cities on the game, but the characters are a bit different. I think it’s safe to say that the characters of these games come in all shapes and sizes.
It’s a bit awkward to see little muscular chibi men fighting other muscular chibi enemies. It’s kind of hilarious when I think about it. But hey, that’s the GBA graphics for you.
The character portraits are very well done; with some characters having more than one portrait. The drawings look slightly different from the anime, perhaps a litter better. I think that the characters look much cooler in their portraits than in the anime.
[Breakdown]
-Graphics are good.
-Character portraits are very well done.
__________
Sound - 8
The music is good. It’s not as extraordinary as a Final Fantasy game, but it is pretty darn catchy. Each location has its own themes, and the best part is that they aren’t similar to each other. So you can count on hearing different themes when entering a new place.
The types of music given are great for searching and grinding, which is what the gameplay is mostly about. The sounds give off a good fighting spirit, as it should. And the sound effects aren’t bad either. It makes beating the daylights out of an enemy very enjoyable.
[Breakdown]
-Music is very good.
-Makes the game enjoyable.
__________
Addictiveness - 6
Since the game mostly points out where to go in order to progress in the storyline, it can keep the player playing the game until the end is reached. Being not so difficult, this game can be played from the beginning all the way to the ending of the storyline. Also, there are things the player can do other than the story. This will be discussed in the Depth section. For now, I will explain some things that can be enjoyable in the game.
A must-have mechanics for the DBZ series is the ability to fight. The game provides this as well as the elements of a RPG and an action/adventure game. Having these made the game very fun to play.
However, since the game is very easy to beat, there isn’t much hours put into it. This game takes less than 24 hours to completely beat the game. So for this reason, the addictiveness score goes down.
[Breakdown]
-Fun game.
-Doesn’t have a lot of hours put into it.
__________
Story - 6
The prologue of this story shows the events of the past, where the hero Goku saved the world from monstrous Cell. Several years had passed by and peace was finally restored to the Earth – or was it?
The actual story doesn’t begin until the player has played around with a few of the available characters and progressing throughout the game, learning the basics of the controls and each character’s special abilities. The beginning may take up a while, but it gives the player knowledge about the DBZ world and its people if the player had never watched the anime or played the previous games.
The story is okay, it’s pretty much a rushed version of the anime. It shows some important scenes as it should, but it doesn’t show anything from the anime that isn’t related to the gameplay or storyline.
Not relating to the anime, it’s your average ‘save the world from the monster’ type of game. There’s not much twists or turns in the game, so it remains uninteresting story-wise. A few scenes here and there are pretty good, but like I said; it’s rushed.
[Breakdown]
-Tutorial type quests before story.
-Rushed version of the anime.
-Almost unremarkable storyline.
__________
Depth - 7
There’s a good amount of depth in this game. For starters, the player could train their available characters to the highest level possible. They could max out their stats to make them stronger and stronger. Since this also has some RPG elements, they can find stat enhancing equips from enemies.
Fighting isn’t the only thing that’s provided. The player can go fishing and turn them in for some cool prizes. The game’s idea of fishing is letting your character jump in the ocean and catching them with their bare hands. Fortunately, the game automatically does the fishing for you.
There are also many collecting to do here. A scouter is provided to collect information about the characters you meet. It can record details such as the character’s stats, appearance, and some information from the anime itself.
Another encyclopedic collecting you could do is gather museum exhibits for both the Z museum and the Hercule café. The Z museum shows important artifacts that were frequently shown or used in the Dragon Ball Z series. The Hercule café shows some exhibits about (supposedly) world champion Hercule.
Although there may seem like there are a lot of things to do, the truth is that the game is too short to make the depth score go any higher. All of this can be completed in less than 24 hours.
[Breakdown]
-Encyclopedic collecting.
-Fishing for prizes.
-Leveling characters.
__________
Difficulty - 3
This game is way too easy to beat. In fact, I completed the storyline in less than 12 hours according to the game's playtime. Of course, there’s more to the game than just the story. However, this section will review the game’s difficulty only.
The enemies of this game are easy to beat. With the stat system, the player could create overpowered characters that can kill monsters with just one punch. Also, the game will allow the player to pause the game and heal their character with the food items they carry around. I would like to mention that these enemies drop food items quite often.
There are some puzzles in the game, but all of them are too elementary. The bosses provide a bit of a challenge, but not by much. The trick to beating the bosses don’t take any more than just thinking why something is placed in the battle field, and figuring out how to use or get around that something in order to beat the boss.
A lot of searching and grinding is involved, but they aren’t too tedious. The maps of the game aren’t necessarily big enough to be considered ‘taking forever’ to search, and the player will receive an upgraded map that shows locations that haven’t been explored yet throughout the game. The monsters usually give a huge amount of experience points, depending on the location.
In short, this game is so easy that it takes longer to read a walkthrough than it does to beat the storyline. Heck, a walkthrough is only useful if you’re trying to find a certain item or if you’re looking for a certain place in the world map.
[Breakdown]
-Too easy.
-Puzzles aren’t challenging.
-Characters can be overpowered.
-Searching and grinding takes up most of the game.
-Bosses provide little challenge, with basic tactics needed to beat them.
-A walkthrough will be useless most of the time.
__________
Overall - 8.5
So overall, the graphics are as good as the music: they are very well done and made the game enjoyable. It is a very fun game; unfortunately, not a lot of hours are put into it. The story is pretty much a rushed version of the anime; it shows a few scenes that are important, but not enough to convey everything that the anime has. There’s still a lot of things that can be done after you beat the final boss; like collecting information about characters or exhibits. The game itself is not all that difficult; it’s possible to complete it in less than a day.
Some minor flaws here and there, but I believe it deserves this score for the above reasoning.
[Summary]
-Very short, but enjoyable game.
-Game can be completed without much difficulty.

Why Buu Fury is a MUST Play.   azarok
Ok so Another awesome game on this more awesome site we all know & love as vizzed.
Dragon ball z games (for me) are always a BIG! Hit or miss. & Buu;s fury Hit the bull eye. This is the 3rd part of the lesser know but still fun games for their times the legend of goku one & two Of which I've owned & played all 3 off. The 1st game was a very basic skill & set up but still had a awesome story line & some cool neat little puzzle like things to move on in the game which was really fun & keep you wanting to play & from that birthed Part two goku gets more famous. The controls get a little bit better & honestly was the birth of that style of controls in games later seen in other big hitters as lord of the rings Game boy advance games. You got a lot more comfortable with it & learnt the story line to the game a bit more (if you haven't play the 1st too the game will still be very fun but I still suggest you do EVEN if you know the Dragon ball z story very well from tv & such.) I understand this is a review of dragon ball z buus furry but it is a series game & I believe to know game 3 you need some background info on the starter games, so sorry.
Dragon ball z buus fury Is not only my fav dragon ball z game (kind a ever even compared to PS/xbox ones) The memory's aside This is in my top 5 favorite games of all time.
Why you ask?
Well simple.
The leveling system is MUCH better & MUCH needed. Keeps you wanted to try.
The item for heal & gear & so on are very cool neat & well thought out & put together. Some hold true to Real life some hold true to Dragon ball z. The gear doesn't just change color or name a little bit even though you can't see it on your fighter as you play they still put a lot of tie into it & it shows.
The skills you (though can basically be max all out by the end if you know what your doing) Are set up really neat As you can play as MANY people & then with the fusions also, I'm just doing some quick thinking guessing there but counting fusions I think theirs like over 10 playable guys & girls you can use. Mostly you can only 4 at the time but the end of the game if I remember you have 6 people of which 4 can do fusions so 8 guys to play as.
Each player has THERE OWN SKILLS!!!!!!!!! Its not just a simple punch punch ki blast party with EVERYONE. Each has there own skills that they bring to the table. Also each has skills from the shows & books that match up very well (each person has 4 skills)
Each skill can be leveled up (I believe twice start at 1 can get to level 3)
Not just changing the power & hit damage it does, but also changing the color size & style of the attack so it keeps it more fun & seems like your progressing WHEN your progressing unlike a lot of long games that just get to boring from not changing it up enough, even though it doesn't REALLY change I guess it gives you the feeling it does & keeps you from hitting that off button.
Each person gets there own story & missions which is really awesome & also keeps the game fun.
the ONLY thing I hate, is to get & start some missions & such you NEED to be at certain levels, & that's not always easy. theres no guide to where to go to level & mostly is a long slow grinding up 20 levels if you don't know where to go, though this is online now not on a handheld so you can just look up that info easily so that's not even a pain anymore..
Another thing I love about this game is some of the hidden Easter eggs (THAT YOU GET TO PLAY)
if you know what your doing you can get a sneak peek into the new part of dragon ball z story line & EVEN GET SUPER SAYING FOUR & THE FUSION FOR THEM O:> WHAT Yes you really can, thought I'll not be saying how lol sorry.
Graphics 9: They look very good & evoule as you play the game.
Sound 9: can get annoying after away but so does any GBA game lol I enjoy the DBZ music though.
Addictiveness: 100 yes 100 not a type oh. Its so fun to replay you find new things each time, enjoy it each time & it only gets funnier as you play over & over & get better at it.
Story 10 ITS DRAGON BALL Z OF COURSE IT GETS A 10
Depth: 10 as this game is long many secrets extras & its part 3 of two other long fun games :D
Difficulty drops each time you play but finding events things & level grinding will be hard your time around playing blind
Good luck :D

Good for GBA   Krypton
Overall 9.5
Great game I LOVED it really fun but the fact that its a little easy annoys me. If someone hasn't watched the DBZ Series they might understand the story as-well as for me since I've watched it I understand it perfectly. I love the way you have to level to get to certain places it basically gets you prepared  for the boss battle and everything else if there is one. I enjoyed the experience of playing this game.
Graphics 7
The graphics are good since it is a GBA game after all this game is a little old. The starting screen is also a really good one :D What I dislike about it is Gohan is the only non super saiyan if they made him SSJ1 or SSJ2 that would be epic. Well noting else to say about the graphics they're good for this type of game.
Sound 8
The sound effects and music are noting to brag about they're ok if the characters had voices as-well that would of been better that would improve the game x10 since there are alot of people at the ages of 7-10 that cannot read very well. I'm not saying they're stupid but saying some people cant read as good as others.
Addictiveness 10
Loved this game. Just loved it. I would play this game over 9000 times if I had to. It's a addicting game for any DBZ watchers if you like and watch DBZ I suggest you play this game :D its completely free I think they should change that its worth way more ;D.
Story 8
Great story same as the original I think anyway haven't watched DBZ in a while I rated it a 8 because its the same. That's what I don't like in games the creators should have made a couple of twists here and there. But other than that the game was almost perfect. Its just really fun I only make reviews on games I enjoy. :p
Depth 10
As I said it should be worth more I enjoyed this game to the max a few little dislikes but its perfect. This is by far the best DBZ game I have came across on this website :p. I also love the way you have to get a certain level to get to certain places as I said in the overall section. But  hate the fact that its a little too easy.
Difficulty 6
Now if you're stupid like me you might get stuck on the part where you're in the small creepy green alien dude's ship where all the plugs are missing from the machines that open the door. But I found it eventually I was in that one spot for at least 2 hours not knowing what to do. And that's the only reason why I rated it a 6. Other than that good game. Haven't completed it yet since I'm too lazy but other than that epic game.
Thanks for reading and have fun!

My DBZ Buus Fury Review   SgtSlayer117
This is the final game in the Legacy of Goku series and it does not disappoint.  There is a huge difference between the first game and this one.  Buus Fury stays in the right path with the Buu Saga by letting you play the events of everything that happend and along the way you will be collecting items, leveling up and switching characters quite a lot.   The game's music is amazing because it sounds like the  score from the TV show and it is addicting to hear.  The game itself is addicting gameplay-wise because you won't beat it on day one and will probably want to keep on playing like me and others did.  There are many secrets in this game too so that gives the game more depth as you aren't just beating up people.  This is a moderate difficult game and I say that because it isn't too easy but not impossible either.  DBZ fans will love this game and RPG fans will also get into it as well.  It offers hours of exploring and completing objectives as well as different characters to play as like Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Gogeta, Gotenks,  Gohan, Piccolo.  Overall this game is a really good single player experience and mostly anyone could start playing and become addicted quickly!

its awesomeee!   awesomeman1234
The game is awesome I mean there is so much to do only way for it to get better is if you had more to do. Bigger city's more places only way more characters like piccolo and hercule, vegito, pikkon, krillin, fat buu . And on vizzed I wish so badly you can use cheats but you can do a lot fight bad guys as vegeta super vegeta, goku ssj goku SSJ3 GOKU, gohan ssj gohan(only for a short period of the story enjoy him as ssj as long as you can) ultimate gohan, trunks ssj trunks, gotten sage gotten, GOTENKS SSJ SSJ3, GOGETA SUPER GOGETA(super powerful). You can beat dabura  beat fat buu ,super buu ,super buutenks ,superbuuhan alot. Have as much  fun as you can have with the game i know i did this game is very addictive. I es videojuego muy addicitivo si lil spanish play this game i haven't heard the sound mine does not work but if you are lucky you hear everything. Everyone who posts the threads obviously give it good ratings. For me i did not think i was gonna love it first time i played it but i was very wrong just because the characters are little does not affect the love for the game. I stood everything saying is the game really gonna be worth playing but my friend on vizzed  proved me wrong every obstacle was worth it it will be to you if your a dragon ball z fan probably more  worth it overall. i'm saying its a very great game i finished the game did everything i know the game is awesome if you don't you're a hater cause the game is perfectly good. it has everything gogeta is cool very cool gotenks is goku, vegeta, trunks, goten , gohan its a very good game very similar to the real series good Details are added in and a few extras.

Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury Review.   linkmaster99
Well this game is just really plain and simple one of my favorite dragon ball z games in the retro game room. This game amazed me the first go round I played this. It was so hard to beat and took me about a calculation of 3 month's before I beat it that was when I had it on the game boy advance. I would say that dragon ball z buu's fury is a good game for game boy advance and deserve it's props on how hard it is. This one particular game is enough to say wow this game is very hard but when you get used to it you start to love it. I love the way you level up instead of going straight to battle. That is another thing that makes this game harder. The level up system. You have to spend some time leveling up before you can pass through the gate. Sometime the monsters are really powerful and sometime your character is just really weak simply talking about gohan. He sucks, but he can be the most powerful I won't tell you about it here but I will later. Now is the time I begin my dragon ball z buu's fury review.
Overall: 9.5
I gave this game a 9.5 simply for one reason. It is so freaking epic. It has a great deal of being hard depending on who you fight and who you fight with. If you fight someone strong while you fight with a weak character that is when the epic challenge comes along. In this game there is a character that slows you down. That character is gohan. His basic skill could kill you but their are 2 ways to improve that skill. That is what makes it easy but whether or not you want to improve him for the hardness of the game is up to you though.
Graphics: 9
I gave the graphics a 9 because they look like people from Pokémon. If I was reviewing a Pokémon game I would have instantly game the graphics a 9. This game has some pretty good graphics for a game boy advance game though. The quality isn't bad either so I really can't give it a bad rating. This is another reason I love this game when I play a game I hate looking at stupid stuff like when their leg isn't attached right. This game doesn't have that. That is an example of bad graphics.
Sound:10
I gave the sound a 10. I gave it a 10 because when I play this game the sound doesn't bother me at all. I hate playing games where the sound is all crunchy and stuff and you can barely here the song on the game. That would be a bad excuse for having a song on the game. But like I was saying this games sound isn't pretty bad it gives off a nice toon and nor do it lag when I am fighting a bunch of people. I love the songs on this game a whole bunch.
Addictiveness: 7
I gave this game a 7 on addictiveness because I found it addictive a whole bunch. It made sense why I thought that after a certain point in the game. That one spot was when gohan had his match in the world martial arts tournament. It got really fun starting at that match and the music was really epic. After that part in the game I enjoyed playing every last chapter in the game after the third one. That is what I find really addictive about this game. Fun and hard at the same time.
Story: 7
I gave the story a seven because I gave the addictiveness a seven. I thought the story was addictive get it. See so I always use that as a way to go to. I really enjoyed the story but what I don't like about this game is that when you beat it it doesn't save I wish it did. That way we could completely finish the game and do what we want from there. It would also be pretty sweet to play as older goten and older trunks. That been on my mind for a long time or at least the let us play the last chapter when ever we want to.
Dept: 6
I gave the dept a 6 because it is hard but if you know what you are doing you could get done quickly. For me since I beat this game so many times if I started early in a day I could beat this game by the night time, or if I started in the afternoon like at 3 I would beat it by 1:47 a.m. That is what I mean on the dept. I am the kind of person who takes his time on a game and don't rush through it though that is why I really enjoy this game.
Difficulty: 5
On the difficulty I gave it a 5. I thought the game was really hard at first but now that I am used to it am could beat it anytime I wanted I though I give it a 5. If it was my first time ever beating it I would have game it a 7 or 8, but now this game has proved to be easy now. I don't care how easy it is though I will still always love this game and still always play it with a passion. That is how much I enjoy playing this game till I am sleepy.
well that is my review on this game I hoped all you enjoyed it and would want to play this game. And another thing I forgot to include be careful when you are fighting if you are fighting a boss and you have low health don't be stubborn and think you can quickly end it. Restore your health so you don't have to worry about dying. I did that a few times then actually learned my lesson. I won't be making that mistake again, and I am preventing you from doing it to.

My DBZ - Buu's Fury Review (TheTrueUlti's)   TheTrueUlti
Overall: 8.8
Not much to say here, except that it is my overall opinion about the game.
Graphics: 10
The animation was really well-made. It had a lot of ways to move and you could defend and all. So, I rated this high.
Sound: 9
I did not hear very much talking, but it had a little bit of laughing in it... (by Babidi/Bibidi) and I could hear the sounds of the hitting, though, so I rated this high.
Addictiveness: 10
It was really hard to stop playing. Although it may have gotten boring after a while, I still could not stop playing it. Ha.
Story: 9
I would have rated it 9.9 but that was not an option. The reason it gets such a rating is because it is not all-the-way though-out. Hercule could have played a little bit bigger of a role (not that I like him). So, there you have it.
Depth: 10
This is a really long game to beat. It took about 10-20 minutes in the Dragon Ball Saga. So, yeah, it got a high rating on this.
Difficulty: 5
This was not a really hard game. But, the Dragon Ball Saga had to give a little thought...
Anything else?
You bet I have to say some more! This game is in the [Dragon Ball Z] LoG (Legacy of Goku) series. It is the last in the series. I hope the creator(s) have some thought about making a game of a DBZ Movie! THOSE would be cool! :) Anyhow, I am sure a lot of people enjoy (or will enjoy) playing this game! Well, I better get going now... See you all later! I hope to make another review soon! Please read all of my reviews. It does not matter when. Just do so. I have fun making them all, and y'all should have a little fun reading them!

WAAAAAAY to easy   DARKANINE
Ah yes good'ol DBZ as some of you may know i love me some DBZ
the graphics are decent loving to hate on but abit lacking
story...wells it DBZ...buu saga which i hate for tons of reasons for one buu is a baby like idoit two they made trunks a annoying brat three they made gohan lame...but i geuss the story is okay
gameplay is fun its simple and the money system is worthless after a point(a early point -_-)and most items like gear are random drops from enemys. The level up system is good i guess you can upgrade strength(attack power) power(ki blast power) and endurance(defence) you also have a speed stat which is movement speed,HP and EP(magic system)
Difficulty this game is SOOO easy mainly cause a level up makes a huge diffrence in combat...and you level up so fast.if you did a no grinding run it would still be easy and the final boss isnt hard just really bulky.
Music is okay nothing to hate on or brag about
Final notes a great game and hey sometimes you want a easy game to play am i right? oh yeah if you want a challege DBZ legacy of goku 1&2 their basicly the same as this but hard as nails

Buus furrious review lol   SuperCrash64
Alright Y'all all remember the Previous Dbz Games on gba this is a follow up to them Continuing from Legacy of Goku 1 which was The Sayian Saga and freezia saga . Legacy of Goku 2 was mainly that of The Trunks story. Android and Cell saga. So Like of the actual Dragon ball Z series we Continue to The Majin Buu Saga . Enter The Dragon ball z Buu's fury Review.
Plot Well Like the Last 2 Games being  Legacy of Goku 1 being based off the first 2 saga's which was Saiyan and Freezia saga  Which those story lines and everything was based off of The Dbz Series. So legacy of Goku 2 was Based off the Story of Trunks movie. Android and the Cell saga. So This Game being the Next follow up game Buus furry Is Based off of The Majin buu saga. So everything and line is based off of The Dbz Buu saga.
Graphics Now some of you may go Ugh its not 3d its old 2d styling. It needs to be 3d like The Fighting Dbz games. Well I would had to tell that person .Well this is an old game this was before the fighting games of Dbz that were on Ps2 and other consoles etc. And Besides the gba was not fair to compare since its a older system. Anyways The 2d effects on the Gba are very nice and well Done I really like the sprites they are very crisp sharp and well detailed for a handheld also they have a great resemblance To the Dbz series as well as the stages look great too It even features the Dragon road which is just freaking awesome looking for a 2d styling game. Graphics  Gets a 10 they look really great for a handheld.
Sound While there ant exactly a voice crew  most blast and Wack effects are in here So again considering the gba capabilities its acceptable variety of sound for this game. Soundtrack Like the storyline it is Based on the Series. But that's not to say the music is horrible no not at all I had always been a fan of The Dbz soundtrack it has a great  sense of kick butt feeling too it and The Gba does a great job almost porting over all soundtracks of the Buu saga perfectly. Sound gets a 7 for the reason above
Addictiveness. IF I would find a reason for this game to be addicting. The Main storyline and Challenge of the game just really sucked me in. As I said I am a fan of Dbz So I like the great sense of Challenge this game has . Addictiveness gets a 8 the challenge of the game is enough for the game to be addicting for me.
Story I explained it in plot the Dbz has always a good storyline I ill rate it a 7 .
Depth Really theres a bunch of stuff to Do That can involve the Main storyline and not.  This game offers a lot of Missions or Battles to go through Because its based on a pretty long saga in The Dbz series. And you still need to Level up by finding random places to kill enemies otherwise your gonna  get your butt handed to you by all bosses. Depth gets a 10 really nice and long game
Difficulty 7 while the beginning of the Game is not too bad . The actual buu forms is dang hard. I barely managed to beat kid buu on the final level. Controls work just fine considering you only use a nes 2 button configuration for the main attacks.
Overall I say this game is great for all fans . And people looking for something to do I will Rate this a overall 9.4

Pretty good   Varrio
So I am making a review of Dragon Ball Z - Buu's Fury!
I personally liked this game, not for it's coolness, but for it's difficulty! This game was too hard, never gonna play it again :S
So Let's start-
Overall- I said this game is pretty nice, but very hard to beat, since Gohan is weak as great Saiyaman. And rescuing Chobi, OMG! I really got it 7 lives to beat it. So I gave the overall rating a 9/10.
Graphics- The graphics were pretty bad, as if Gogeta's face looks like SSJ2 Gohan's. But the title screen graphics were awesome, so I gave the graphics a 7/10.
Sound- The musics were awesome! As I told in my old reviews, I LOVE JAPANESE STYLE OF MUSIC!!! :D Whenever I battled someone, awesome songs started playing! So I gave this a 10/10.
Addictiveness- "This game was too hard, never gonna play it again :S" Remember that? Too hard for me as I get Finger cramps while battling. And it takes a long time to beat someone, so I gave this a 1/10 :P
Story- The story was as common as every time, eat breakfast, go to school, do your homework and battle dangerous aliens with superpowers. So I give the story a 8/10.
Depth- I found in the screen shots that, this game ends near Grand Kai's palace's entrance. I didn't like this so much, so I gave this 9/10.
Difficulty- Gotta make a song for this!
"Told you, Very Hard!
            Getting cramps, very hard.
While battling, very hard!
            So I give this...........
A very hard 10/10 for difficulty!"
Lawl that was my review for DBZ Buu's Fury. I'll be making more! So play this if you want finger cramps XD!
Bu-Bye! :)

The power of Saiyans   ssvegetathesoul
Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury, begins with the Other World Tournament Saga of Dragon Ball Z and continues through the Kid Buu Saga, which represents the very end of the DBZ storyline. Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury is a real time, battle-based role playing game that challenges players to experience the thrill and the challenge of the most important and exciting moments of the final-third of the Dragon Ball Z story. Players will begin their journey in the Other World Tournament Saga and continue through the Kid Buu Saga. Combining classic Action and RPG elements with exploration, enemies, boss enemies, puzzles, and quests, Buu's Fury challenges the player to achieve the ultimate goal of the game: the defeat of Buu. Along with the story of Majin Buu there are a few more things to the game I believe all would enjoy hope everyone will enjoy the game as much as I did, its story line stuff is amazing sure some characters you may wish to use you won't be able to but otherwise the game is really fun, maybe people could find out better things on the game than I could, just a piece of advice you should find all Hercule and Z exhibits for some extra game stuff I'm sure you will fine it worth it, anyways I'm through boring you all just have fun.

Buu's Fury   Deadend136

Wow a Dragon Ball Z game that is really fun? Yes this game

is actually a very fun and interesting game. This game only has you play
through the Majin Buu saga of the television show but regardless this is still
in my opinion a classic game that every gamer who is a fan should try out. You
are able to play as: Goku, Vegeta, kid trunks, kid goten, and Gohan in this
game which you really need to level up all of them accordingly otherwise you
will spend a lot of time training which takes away a lot of the fun of this
game. The depth is great, the puzzles are interesting, and the story is great!
So lets begin!

Graphics and Sound- Rate 7

Alright so I gave the graphics and sound a 7 for a couple of

key reasons:

1) Graphics and sound varied throughout the game which is

great and for games in general it is sometimes never like that.

2) Depending on where you are and what you are doing the

soundtrack changes in order to fit the situation which makes the game better
and helps energize you in battle! And when playing you could really tell that
the soundtrack team in charge of this game worked very hard on making it spot
on!

3) Graphics are very standard for game titles on this

console but this title does offer different graphics which do get a little repetitive
but the maps are well put together.

So Graphics and Sound deserve a 7 because of how well placed

the soundtracks were throughout the game and also how despite the consistent
battle scenes the maps were very well put together for this title!

Addictiveness- Rate 8

I always find myself going back and playing this game at

least once every month or two. The game is not a very long and drawn out game
and the game allows you to train up your characters in a way that if planned
right you could easily go up 15-20 levels in less than an hour with 1/5
characters. Some parts drag on a little more than others and those parts are
when you enter the ship and need to go through and complete puzzles which increases
every level to the point where you just want to stop the game and go back the
next day and also the part of the game where you need to go on different maps and
complete so many different puzzles using only trunks and goten. So if you do
not mind longer puzzles and you enjoy the story this game is very addictive and
again I do play this game every month or two.

Story and Depth- Rate 7

The story is exact same of the anime arc but it was a very

interesting one and being a fan I enjoyed the fact that the game developers
made a point to not really change the story of the arc around. The depth was
above average because the map is constantly changing and there are many areas
for you to explore throughout the game.

Difficulty- Rate 7

What can I say the difficulty was not incredibly hard but

you have to train throughout the game which if you are a gamer and are forced
to train up 10-15 levels at a time it can be very frustrating. The boss battles
are not hard to beat because of the fact that the game requires you to be certain
levels to move forward with the story and you have the chance to keep leveling
up your characters in those cases because there is usually a big puzzle before
you even battle each boss. My advice as one gamer to another is to train an
extra 5-10 levels at the points where you need to be a certain level to move
forward. You will constantly have to play as all 5 of the characters and if one
is level 85 while all your characters are over level 100 you will not be a
happy gamer because eventually you will need to use that specific character and
need to level the character 20 levels without dying in training just to catch
up and move forward. Which if you do it can be a little fun because it goes by
pretty fast if you do it right it can still be a drag knowing you have to level
up a character so many levels just to move forward.

I hope you all enjoyed my review and I look forward to all

the feedback!

I had no problems, looks like it really IS fixed, if you're gonna use VBA like tRIUNE says.
tRIUNE 08-29-14 - 01:37 PM
It is fixed if you're using the VBA emulator. I've removed the Mednafen link now, because that problem happens when using Mednafen.
