Donkey Kong Country 2 Review
Overall - 9.8
Donkey Kong Country 2 on the SNES is one of my favorite lifetime games ever. I grew up playing it and I am so good at it. It is so much better than the first one because there are some new features that were not in the first one. I remember playing the levels when I was a kid over and over again and the fun just never ends. This game is a beast.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are excellent for the SNES. i just love it so much and it looks so realistic in anime. The graphics never get old.
Sound - 10
What I like the most about this is the theme musics in each level. It just brings you back in the past when playing it. I remember every song in this game, which is why it is the greatest. The sound effects are my favorite, especially when you hit the Kremling and they say "UGH!" everytime you hit one lol.
Addictiveness - 10
I still play this game till this very day. It is one of my favorite games of all times, like I said. I remember losing the game when I was a kid, so I decided to get a new game of it online and played it at 14 once more. The game was still fun for me. The fun never ends.
Story - 10
The story is kind of the same, but a little different. King K. Rool steals the bananas once more AND Donkey Kong. This is pretty epic and Dixie Kong replaces him. Dixie Kong is my favorite character in the game cause she can hover with her hair. People always say why pick Diddy, Dixie is obviously better...not quite. If you hadn't noticed, Dixie throws things at a distance. Diddy throws things straight forward, but not far. Dixie holds items with her hair, which she can't just walk to an enemy and expect them to die. Diddy holds items with his hands and can walk up to enemies. There's your difference.
Depth - 10
The game, like I said, has new features that the first one didn't have. For instance, you get banana coins, which you can use to buy hints, tips, and saving. This I just hate. To save, you go to the granny kong (I don't know her name) and she will give you a freebie of saving, after that there is no more freebie till the next world, you have to pay her 2 banana coins if you want to save again. That is horrible, but I think that is the only thing I use it on, and for the questions that you can answer to get balloons. Another would be the little quiz to get balloons I just mentioned. That is a good way to get lives.
Difficulty - 6
I'll admit that this game was difficult for me, but it is not today. The only level I hate in this game is the Honey world, there are a couple of levels I hate in that level that drives me crazy, but I can still succeed, it just takes time. Other than that, the game is quite simple if your good at it.
Wrap Things Up...
Donkey Kong Country 2 will probably be one of those games that I would never get bored of. I have tried it on the GBA when my friend had it and it was pretty cool, but not cooler than the one on the SNES. I highly recommend trying this game out if you haven't yet, it is one of the best Donkey Kong games ever! :)

Donkey Kong Country 2 - Diddy's Kong Quest Box Description: Okay kid, wipe that drool off your chin and listen up if you really want to learn something about this game. Sure, it's got newfangled computer graphics and what Diddy calls stereo sound that "rocks heavily and with little resistance!" BUT, the game play? Well, they FINALLY added some proper challenge to the game - a snap for me of course. AND THE STORY? You sure ask a lot of questions, kid! Kaptain K. Rool and his cruelest cut-throat Kremlings have kidnapped that flea-bitten ape Donkey Kong. I figured I'd rescue him when the little pip-squeak DIDDY pops up along with his girlfriend, and they head off fixin' to prove themselves heroes or something. Come to think of it, I haven't laid eyes on those two for quite a while. I just may have to help them out after all!
Donkey Kong Country 2 - Diddy's Kong Quest Description: Donkey Kong has been kong-napped by the nasty K.Rool and the Kremlings, and it is up to Diddy Kong and his girl-friend Dixie Kong to save him.All the familiar enemies and helpful friends return, along with some new characters, including the wise Wrinkly Kong who will teach you some important lessons in gameplay. Again the emphasis is on banana collecting, where as every 100 bananas makes one extra life. Apart from beating K. Rool and rescuing Donkey Kong, there are extra missions that can be completed. Collect enough K. Rool Krem Coins to open up the routes to the Lost World, while every level has a hidden Hero Coin to collect.

When you visit one, a Kremling named Klubba will ask you to give him 15 Kremcoins to enter The Lost World. Glitches
Beat Screech\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Sprint Without Racing
Once you get half way through \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Screech\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Sprint\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" you will transform into the bird, and, normally, you will fly up to Screech and the race will start. If you come up right behind Screech to where the race will not start yet, and you fly upwards (you must have both characters at this point for this to work), you will then hit the the ceiling and hurt yourself causeing yourself to blink. Quickly, while you are still blinking, pass Screech and head off to the rest of the level without having to worry about doing it in good time.

I will never forget the first time I played this game; I spent the entire school week trying to finish it and then trying to get into the Lost World! Definitely worth playing and never gets old!! 10/10

i cant save. I press the F4 button, but it just turns the background a different color. i have saved with the old lady and i pressed "Esc" and "save game", but when i come back to it at a later time, it didnt save at all. ???????? please help.

Now this game is a classic! This is one of my favorites, although collecting the collectables could get a little hard without help. All in all, this is a great addition in the series of Donkey Kong Country! One funny thing is the error in the title.

Hi! You don't necessarily need to play the GBA version to clock 102%. It's just that in this version, the barrels continually rotate- you have drastically less control in ejection. Hence, making completion of this particular level more difficult.

DO NOT touch the bananas, go into the room jump the letter, grab the baloon, then head BACK to the banana bunch and repeat it. When you come back again, ALL Krem coins at once should be there

Here's the cheat to get ALL 75 Krem coins. First head into the room with the letter and 1-up baloon. Next, go back out and keep going NOT collecting the two bananas until you get to the first banana bunch. Then, grab that and head back to the room
