Yoshi's Island - Kamek's Revenge Review by: Toontownfan26 - 9.8/10
Great Mod Graphics- Very good graphics, very chipper, colorful, happy, when you are over lava you can almost see the heat, when you are in the snow you can see the snow falling from the trees.
Sound- Good sound, remastered music that fits the scenes, when you are in the castle it is deep and gloomy, when you are in the fields it is chipper and high.
Addictiveness- Very addicting, it is the type of game that if you die you have to try again till you win and you can't take a break, you have to play to the end just so you don't freak out.
Story- The story over all is good, it makes it take place after the original Yoshi's Island, the story doesn't really follow you through the game, you see it at the beginning and the end, the story would be slightly better if they changed the beginning video like in other mods I have played, but over all a very good story line.
Depth- A pretty good game when it comes to this, has a lot of secret areas and mini-games, even after you beat the final boss you want to go back and get 100 on all the levels.
Difficulty- A perfect balance of difficulty and simplicity, very hard to dodge all enemies and avoid falling down cliffs, controls are easy to get the hang of, great game if you are looking for a challenging game that reminds you of the SNES
Pros-Remastered music, long, good story, same style as the original, great graphics, good balance of difficulty
Cons- the only con I can think of is that the video at the beginning is the same
So overall this is in my opinion the best Yoshi's Island mod there is.
