Time to go to space! It's a Space Review!   Snodeca
Hello everyone! Now, I am back with another review, [s]again[/s], and this time, it's about one of my favorite games I've ever played.
And no, I'm hopefully not gonna spoil anything. Let's get started! =D
Graphics: 10/10
The Graphics.. Yes, this game has good graphics. But it isn't that colorful, too. When you get started, you can choose a save file. And then, choose a Mii, or a Game Character. Then you get started, and start the graphics. I would rate it 9, on not that colorful, but still nice and all.
But, when you go ahead and put in a hack which let's you fly, you'll see why this is a 10. All the stuff is apart and all, and yet, it looks like 1 place. And that is why I am really amazed by the graphics, so this deserves a 10 in my opinion, I wouldn't even be able to do something like that. [s]But then again, I can't draw! :P[/s]
Sound: 10/10
The sounds have been done really well, and it is something different then usually. Usually it's simple, but here, it's really, different then usually, I don't even know the name of the instrument. :P I do in Dutch, but not in English. Viool in Dutch.
Juul, you saw my previous review, right? Do you know what the word is? :P
The Voice acting is also.. Good, I guess? Bowser actually talks! If you listen closely, he talks, but it can also just be me. :P Either way, it's cool. :P
Addictiveness: TEN!!!!!
I could play this game all day long, every single day, it's a real fun game, I just love to play the game. When I first had the game, I started playing and I really liked the game, but I skipped a lot of levels... <-- Probably is better to say this into Depth part. :S
This game is really addictive, it is really fun, the game itself, is amazing, which makes it so addictive.
Definitely a 10. :)
Story: 7/10
Listen, usually Bowser kidnaps Peach, which usually is a 6, but thank god Peach can breath in space. The Story is always the same, Bowser kidnaps Peach, and fails to. He said he will never give up in another game.
BOWSER, PEACH ALREADY DEFEATED YOU ONE TIME. JUST GIVE UP OMG!!! D:
Caps spam, sorry. :S
Depth: 10/10
It's a long game. It has 120 stars. It's amazing.
But even after the 120 stars, are you able to get these annoying stars?
...
Don't read the next part if you hate spoilers :P
Theres actually 242 stars, which is why it's a 10. :P
This game is very long, and very fun, it deserves a 10. I had to find every single star without internet, it was hard, but I did it.
Difficulty: 10/10
...
No... Stop losing... Stop falling... NO... THIS IS TOO HARD!!! D:
This game is very hard, you need time to be able to win this game 100%, but if you practice, this game becomes easier. Just keep trying, it is not impossible. Just so you know. I had to do the same thing, these stars... You need practice man, YOU NEED PRACTICE! This game is very hard, in length and time. Sometimes you need to speed run through the game, sometimes you just keep dying trying to get that one star, and then, you want to give up. But, if you do not give up, you will find your way out of this mess, it is possible, just keep trying, and eat cookies, drink water, do marathons, just keep trying man, you'll get there!
Overall: 10/10!
Alrighty then, the overall is 10. This game is hard, good, fun, has amazing graphics, amazing sounds... And, because of the difficulty, it feels like a very long game! Is there any possible way to rate the game 11/10??
:P
I definitely tell you, try this game out. It is worth your money, it is amazing.
10/10. :)
Well, guess this space review comes to an end. I hope you had fun reading the review, as much as I enjoyed reading it! Sorry for the long difficulty part, You don't need to do marathons to complete this game. :P
This Review has come to an end. ~James

Super Mario Galaxy 2 review!   patar4097
Super Mario Galaxy 2 was considered one of the best Wii games out there, and is also considered one of the better Mario games in general. For anyone who doesn't know, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a 3d platformer game, that takes place in space. Your goal is to collect every single star, so you can power up your ship to get to Bowser and Bowser Jr., who again stole Peach. And in this game, there are some new suits. Along with the Bee, Boo, and Spring suit from the first Super Mario Galaxy, you can now get a Rock Mushroom, so you can roll over your enemies. You can also get the Cloud Flower. With it, you can spin three times to make a cloud appear, so you can reach higher levels. And in this one, you can use Yoshi! So with him, you can eat enemies, flutter, and also eat berries to make him go super fast, puff up like a balloon on float high, or light up otherwise invisible floors. Now onto the review.
Graphics - 10
There is not one Wii game that I've seen that looked better than this game. From the vibrant colors, to the high details of every background, and every character. I can't really recall anything that didn't look outstanding. They actually look better in every way compared to the first game in the Galaxy series. Something else that improved from the first was the world map. It is more clean than the previous game, because the galaxies are more spread out, and there is a path that you travel along to get from galaxy to galaxy, instead of finding them from the observatory.
Sound - 9.5  The music in Super Mario Galaxy 2 is phenomenal. The music sounds deep, and perfect for the galaxy theme. The only down side is that some of the music is recycled from the first Mario Galaxy, which is alright, but some of the songs that they took I'm not as fond of, but that's mostly later on in the game.
Addictiveness / depth -  9  In this game, there are 251 stars to find, with a little less than half of them being Green Stars, which are hidden in the Galaxies you have already beaten, and some are pretty hard to find. And they are fun to find too. You will probably want to find all of them, because, if you are like me, they are there, so you must get them. And it's also fun going back to some of the galaxies that you've already got all the gold stars from, and trying to then get the Green stars. And this game will take a long time to finish. There will be either four or six stars in each galaxy, some gold, some green, so there are plenty of different galaxies to choose from, and some stars will take place in parts of the galaxy that are different from the other stars.
Story - 5  Here's the story: Bowser turns giant, because he has gained the power of the Grand Stars, and he goes to steal Princess Peach, and takes her away, and Bowser then starts to make his own universe. So you, as Mario, have to save her. How original, Nintendo.
Difficulty - 7  It may not be as challenging as some older Mario games, but it is one of the hardest Mario games in a while. While 1-ups are still really simple to find most of the time, on some galaxies, you will find yourself loosing lives, which, by the way, it now takes 100 star bits to get a 1-up instead of the 50 you needed in the first Super Mario Galaxy. But as for the controls, there are rarely any problems. The only time where the controls seem to be funky is when you are in between gravity, and can't seem to find the right way to move, but it rarely happens.
Overall - 9.9   This is one of the best games that I've ever played. It's gameplay is second to none, the graphics are the best on the Wii. The universe is so detailed, and deep, and the music goes along with it perfectly. I really can't find anything bad about this game. If you haven't played this game, you should try it as soon as possible.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review! Also my first Review!   greenluigi
Super Mario Galaxy 2 review! It is also my first review ever! A review is of course long, so I'll make it long :)! Let's get started and how I got the game!
March 8 2011, when I came back home from school, my parents gave me a birthday present because it was the same day that it was my birthday! I opened it and it was Super Mario Galaxy 2! I was so happy that I played it the entire day that time! Now let's begin about the game!
Sound: 9- I have to say for the sound, they are really good! I love the sounds in the game, they are quite impressive. The Boss Battles in the game, I had to say that Nintendo 'could' make it better. Well some Boss Battles (Per example Bowser) are different. I really love Bowser's theme when you battle him. Now let's talk about the music in levels. (I'm saying levels because I don't want to reveal a spoiler) Some of them are good. Why I say that 'some' of them are good? Well it's simple, because it might be epic (Obviously XD), they might be weird (I love weird musics and songs lol.), they are like acrobatic themes. Well let me say why I say 'some' of them are bad. It's simple too. Because they are not imperssive, they are boring, they are weird (Well, some weird musics are cool. Some of them are just... WEIRD XD), some bad musics are not fun, they might creepy. Okay, I'm done talking about the Sound in the game. Let's talk about the Graphics!
Graphics: 10- Okay, ever since Nintendo made the gamecube, the graphics of Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda etc... they have really really got better. Mario's graphics are close the same since now in our time, 2014. Well in 2014, Mario changed a bit, he just became more colorful that's all. Now let's talk about the graphics in Super Mario Galaxy 2! I'll give it a 10 because, I find some artworks of certain characters colorful. Mario's artwork in SMG2 is not so colorful because his overalls are a bit darker. You might notice that in the time 2010 and the early times and you will see what I mean. But... why I would give the game's graphics a 10? You'll find out right NOW! I give the game's graphics a 10 because some character are very colorful. The game's maps's graphics are really good. Another reason why I give the game's graphics a 10 because when you battle Bosses, the graphics are excellent. Another reason too it's because it's in 3D. Well, fans are really enjoying 3D Mario games since Super Mario 64, Mario's first 3D game. Now that's what I have to say about the game's graphics! Well the only thing I dislike is Mario's overalls. They are a bit dark. Well per example in Super Mario 3D World, Mario's overalls are not dark, but colorful. Well I won't blame Nintendo made Mario's overalls a bit dark in the early years because there wasn't like the 3DS, WII U and the other HD things. But, SMG2 was made in 2010, the same year of the 3DS. That means Mario's graphics and artwork have DEFINITELY got much better. Well here's what I have to say about the graphics! Let's talk about the Addictiveness!
Addictiveness: 8- Okay, ever since I beat the game (well when I beat the final boss for the very very very first time) I unlocked a special word. You needed bunch of things. So I got bored. But later, I said to myself "The adventure didn't end yet, I need more Power Stars! I must return to my file!" I continued to collect remaining Power Stars and I finished the Special World. After I beat the game more than 100%, I said that I really enjoyed this game. Recently, I made a new file to make a new adventure. Before the new file, what I was doing with the game? Well that's good question, I was repeating some galaxies cause some of them were fun, or I do my favorite Galaxy in the Special World, where you fight bunch of bosses. I was really having fun to battle bunch of bosses! Those bosses appeared in the prequel of the game, SMG. Then I said to myself "Wow. the sequel is much better." Well I don't say the sequel is much better because it's the sequel (Many people think that) Because it's more fun, better new items. Oh and I played its prequel, it is also really fun! I must say that I'm more addicted in its sequel. I'm still addicted on this game to re fight the bosses :D! As you may know,  SMG2 is one of my favorite Mario games. Sorry, I didn't talk much about my addictiveness, so I'll talk about its Story!
Story: 9- Now now, every fans knows that the beginning is similar to its prequel, except Kamek uses his magic to blast Mario in Galaxy 1. Well there is a difference in the two games's stories. I'll talk the story about SMG2 since this review it's about SMG2, not SMG. Well the story is creative, I love it and it's really funny too! But... why I gave it a 9 and why not a 10? You'll find out now! I expected in its sequel that there will be something really different than its prequel. I got a bit upset when it's revealed that "OH MY GOD!! BOWSER STOLE THE POWER STARS AND KIDNAPPED PEACH AGAIN :(!!! QUICK MARIO!!! GET OUR POWER STARS AND SAVE PEACH AGAIN!!!" I wanted something different like I said. The Power Stars could have a role more interesting than its prequel. But, in some galaxies, you get Power Stars in a fun way more than SMG. I'm not saying that I hate SMG2's story, I'm saying that it is the 'same or nearly the same story'. You know why? Well take in example in Super Mario 64, you arrive in the castle but suddenly Bowser kidnaps Peach. Well Bowser kidnaps Peach over and over and over. He will never give up. (Well check my few lost of interest in Mario thread.) It never gets old. Well there IS something weird in SMG2. It's like Mario met Young Master Luma for the very first time. They met each other in its prequel. That's what I have to say for its story! Let's talk about its Depths!
Depths: 10- I'll give it immediately a 10. All fans must give it a 10 I guess. Why? Well first of all, they are more power stars than its prequel. They are a total of 242 stars in SMG2 and 120 in SMG. It took me... nearly 6 months to beat the game? Well if someone says "Yay I beat the game finally! It was so easy!" Well they are wrong. You must know that in most of the games like per example the legend of zelda the wind waker, there is a second quest. Every time when you beat a game, try to beat its second quest or its special world! You also must know that after the game, it gets much more harder so it took me loonnnnng enough to collect EVERY single Power Stars. Trust me, the game is quite long to beat. (well really 100% to beat) Well let me share you a sad fact. I collected the 242 stars on November 30 2012, the same day my great grandma died :(. See, I have a strong memory. The game is quite long as I said, when you play it for the very very very first time, you will see that it will take you more than one day or month to beat. Perhaps I exaggered a bit. But what I mean is, the game is really long to beat. Well to collect the 242 stars of course. It is definetly long the game so it is a 10, really. Let's talk now about its Difficulty!
Difficulty: 6- Now the weird fact is, how come I can give its Depths a 10 and its Difficulty a 6? Well it is really simple. You must know that some video games are easy to beat, some of them are hard. Well the thing you must known is, some games are easy to beat but, it takes a while to beat its game. Some games are hard to beat, but it takes short amount of time to beat (I don't think there is a game like this XD). Well your main objective in the game is quite simple, visit each galaxy, collect Power Stars to access more Galaxies, help people that lives in a galaxy to get good rewards like a Power Star per example! Stomp on enemies, jump and beat Bowser's minions! When you beat a boss in a castle, you unlock a new world. How far you are in the game, it makes it harder I guess! Trust me guys, the game is not that hard but it takes a long time to beat. Like can you collect every single Power Stars in one day? I don't think so EXCEPT, if someone does hacks, or if someone does a long walkthrough it is just simple. Now for the final thing for my review, the overall!
Overall: 10- For the whole thing, it is a 10/10! I play the game and it reminds me of Nostalgia! I suggest you guys to buy the game, play it and you will see how fun it is! I'm just suggesting you guys. I'm saying SMG2, a Mario Fan must play it. I expected a SMG3 to show up in E3 but it didn't :(. Well back to the game, long jump, you must wonder in galaxies, learn new techniques, earn a Power Star in a funny way! SMG2 is really a good game. Well that's for my first review! Hope you like it! If someone read the whole thing, thank you! Oh and if it's a bit short, don't blame me, it is my very first review! Hope you like it! Hope I make more reviews in the future! Tell me what you think :).

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review   TheFadedWarrior
Alright! I haven't done a review in awhile (just kidding), so I'll be doing a review of this game, Super Malleo Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Wii! I hope you enjoy my review. Welp, here goes!
Graphics - 9
Let's start us off with the graphics. The graphics of this game are very good for the Wii. It keeps Mario's "cartoonish" look, but adds more detail. Everything is detailed nicely, all the graphics are smooth looking, the colors of everything fit perfectly, even the names of sprites fit their models (such as Choppas and Magmaws). They almost perfected the textures of everything. The shading is exceptionally good as well. Super Mario Galaxy 2 truly has very good graphics, which is why I give the graphics rating of this game an amazing 9!
Sound - 9
I believe the sound of this game is very well done. Pretty much all of the tunes are catchy, all of the sounds fit what they are coming from, and all of the music tracks fit the area they are placed in. You can tell that lots of the songs are performed by an actual orchestra, rather than a synthesizer or a keyboard or something. The spacey sounds (for the Galaxy theme) sound really cool too. One of my personal favorite tracks of this game is the Space Storm Galaxy theme (link). It sounds mysterious and epic at the same time to me. You can find the full soundtrack here (link). I give the sound another great rating of 9!
Gameplay/Addictiveness - 9
Onto the gameplay now. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a game where you, yes, collect stars. But the main idea behind this game is that everything is space-themed (hence the word 'Galaxy' in the title), so things are a bit different. Instead of having stuff like "Level 1 - Bob-Omb Battlefield" or "World 2-4," or maybe "Noki Bay Episode 1," everything is rather "planet-based." From the main hub world (named Starship Mario, modeled after you-know-who's head), if you step on the platform in front of the steering wheel, it will take you to the overworld. You can then choose from World 1 to World 6 and the secret World S, which have Galaxies (more like planets) inside. Within each Galaxy, there will be either 2 or 3 stars in the world, each having its own journey and Galaxy changes (so you will explore a whole new section of the Galaxy for each star, resulting in a different experience). Each Galaxy is different than the rest, so the entertainment never ends.
Here is the actual gameplay: You play as Mario (of course), platforming (of course) to get stars (of course). Super Mario Galaxy is a 3D open world Mario platformer, so it's (in my opinion) better than games like in the New Super Mario Bros. series, where you do 2D platforming to grab flags.
One of the main mechanics of this game is the star bit feature. Star bits are small chunks of stars that fall off, falling like rain. You can collect them by either running into them or pointing the Wii Remote at the star bits. Once collected, they can be used to bribe Lumas (cute little baby stars), who eat star bits to transform into new Galaxies or planets and planetoids. These can be used to get secret stars (usually the 3rd star in a Galaxy) to help you continue your journey. You can also shoot star bits at enemies to stun them.
Sorry for rambling on and making the gameplay section kinda, erm, cruddy.
I thoroughly enjoy playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, so it is very addictive. It is one of my top 3 favorite Mario platformers, the other 2 being Super Mario World and Super Mario Sunshine. This game is extremely long (which we'll talk about later in the depth), so you keep coming back for more. I can play this on hours on end, having fun the whole time. I give the Gameplay/Addictiveness section yet another incredible 9!
Story - 6
The story is better than most Mario games, but it's still pretty lame. Princess "Peach" Toadstool invites Mario to the Star Festival to eat some cake (yet another cake story plot). The Star Festival is a very rare event that occurs once every 1000 years (or 100 years, I can't quite remember) where hundreds of star bits fall from the skies onto the kingdom. Bowser, on the other hand, has been stealing the power of Grand Stars, and therefore has grown massive. Now here's a surprise: Bowser kidnaps Peach. Bowser then goes to the center of the Universe and creates a massive empire. Bowser's master plan is not to do unknown things to Princess Peach, but rather to gain control of the universe. Mario then sets out on a journey to, you guessed it, defeat Bowser for like the 50th time. As I explained in the Gameplay section, Mario has to travel across Galaxies collecting stars to move onto the next World (worlds happen to be larger than galaxies). I give the story a 6, seeing as it's better than most Mario games but it's still pretty boring.
Depth - 10
This game is HUUUUUGE. The original Super Mario Galaxy was pretty big, maybe an 8, and it had 121 stars including the final secret one. This game has 121 stars including the World S stars, giving it a rating of about 8, but then after you get all of them, 120 GREEN stars appear, one for each normal star. These stars aren't actual "journey" stars, but rather hidden stars that you have to find. It could be hidden inside a box, hidden in a useless corner, hidden high in the sky. After you have collected each of the green stars, you will have an incredible 240 stars. But then, the Grandmaster Galaxy appears. There are then 2 very hard regular stars to get, adding up to a total of 242 stars to collect. That's right, 242. I give the depth a perfect 10!
Difficulty - 7
We're nearing the end of the review, with this being the last section before Overall. This game isn't exceptionally hard, nor is it easy. There are some stars that are easy to get, and there are some stars that are hard to get. There are a few really hard stars and a few really easy stars. Sorry for not doing much detail, but there is a large variety. I give the difficulty a 7.
Overall - 9
Overall, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is definitely a game worth buying. Whether or not you're a fan of Mario games, you should definitely try this game out. It has amazing graphics, sound and music, and the gameplay itself is incredibly fun, even for a Mario game. The story is inferior to what most people would want, but what can you expect from a Mario game? Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also extremely long and medium in difficulty. I give this game an incredible 9!
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you enjoyed it! Feel free to criticize.

May the stars shine down on you   daman269
Super mario galaxy 2 is definitely 1 of my favorite games to play and replay and for good reasons. Mario 64 set the standards for 3D platformers however the Galaxy games went far beyond, redefining what a good 3D platformer should be. Does it live up to those standards? I'll come back to that question later but for now, into the review.
Graphics: 9
The Wii didn't have the greatest of graphics since it had to focus on other areas such as motion controls. Therefore it isn't in HD but that isn't a problem because that won't stop games from looking beautiful. Especially for the Wii. This proves that you don't have to be HD to look good, just bright and colourful.
Sound 9:
The music for this is gorgeous, which isn't a surprise, Nintendo have many well composed music tracks. Take the remix for Thwomp fortress or the bowser boss stages, the intro music. everything just fits well with the place.
Addictiveness: 10
This game is so addictive(even if you suck like me and die a lot) that it was hard not to binge play this game, the gameplay has been refined, the motion controlled ball sections are fun(plus if you go fast you roll like sonic), the stages are fun, the powerups are good, Yoshi is in it with Super Mario world like power ups(EG: Flying)and the glitches are hilarious.
Story: 7
Take the usual"Bowser steals Peach, Mario rescues her" and place it in space. Add Bowsers universe domination plan, put a crew of Lumas helping Mario stop Bowser, put in a young Luma lost that gives Mario a spin power and you get a good story in Mario standards. The story is, Bowser steals all Grand stars and Power stars in the universe with Bowser JR and his minions, kidnap Peach on a festival as a giant and then Mario sets out on and out of this world adventure... I'm sorry.
Depth: 8
In this game, you can collect 242 stars, 7 worlds, 49 galaxies, 3 Yoshi powerups, 8 powerups for Mario(time limited, infinite and drill, which I count) and even more.
Difficulty:8
It's not actually too difficult, yes it has got difficult stages but it isn't that hard. I just suck at games.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Another Cosmic Adventure   Mario0908
A second Super Mario Galaxy game! I was very excited when I heard news that this came out. When I played it I had a lot of fun. I thought it was even better than the first game. However, there are a few people that think that the first game was better. After I heard this I went back to play the original game again and even watched a few videos. Ever since then I've been unsure of which game I like ether even though I was never able to complete the first game. I'll probably figure it out sooner or later, just not right now.
The graphics in this game are good. I don't think I would say they are as good as the last game though. I'm not saying the graphics are bad, all I'm saying is that the first game started out a little better when it came to graphics. One thing that looks good in my opinion is in Yoshi Star Galaxy. When you use the launch star after eating the giant plant, the volcano explodes. I think it looks pretty amazing since you're flying through the sky and then something explodes behind you like you're in the movies. Later on the graphics do get better. As an example, the background in Chompworks Galaxy looks very good while your flying in. All the colors mixed in looks amazing and what you would expect out of a game like this.
I think the sound in this game is alright. I've listened to some of the music. Right now I like the music in Beat Block Galaxy is pretty good. I don't think it's as good as Gusty Garden Galaxy or Buoy Base Galaxy from the first game. However, one that might come close in my opinion is Fleet Glide Galaxy. It sounds very inspirational. It has that tune that you will remember when you need to. Another song I heard and thought wasn't that bad was the music for Freezy Flake Galaxy. This song sounds like you are taking a walk in the snow. It's kind of slow, kind of simple, but I think it's a good song. The last song I will talk about is Spin-Dig Galaxy. I think it sounds pretty good. In my opinion it sounds a little bit like party music. It's not as slow as Freezy Flake Galaxy. I think that it's a good song. A lot of the music in this game is very good.
I find this game pretty addicting. They added more to this game which makes people like me want to play it more. The biggest thing they added was Yoshi. Yoshi made me want to play every single day. They added new power-ups such as the rock mushroom. This game wasn't as difficult as the first game which I don't really know if it makes it more addicting or less addicting. But there were a lot of Galaxies to go through and a lot more things to use. I think this game is more addicting than the first.
The story in this game is not all that different. But, this game acts as if the first one never existed. With that said, I will now tell you the story. The beginning says that every century, stardust falls on the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach sends a letter to Mario asking if he would like to share some cake with Peach while they watch the stars. On his way to the castle, Mario finds a peculiar, white star lying on the ground. The star jumps up and decides to stay with Mario, so he buried himself under his cap. Mario felt power surge through him and he learned the spin ability. Mario continues on to the castle. But when he gets there, he finds an unpleasant surprise. Bowser has become huge and captured the princess once again. After a quick face to face chat with Bowser himself he flies away and disappears. Some yellow stars call out to Mario from the castle. Mario heads over there to see what they want. The white star pops out of his cap and the other stars recognize him and yell "OH! Master Luma!' The yellow Lumas are talking about getting thrown overboard and other things you don't know too much about. But then they start talking about things you do know, like saving the princess. So to help out, one of the Lumas transforms into a launch star so that you can get your journey started.
This game is pretty big. It's pretty much the same as the last game, but it has Yoshi and new power-ups too. It has 120 stars to collect. But this time there's 120 more green stars to collect. They added Yoshi to this game, Yoshi is used to eat things and get them out of your way. He also has his very own power-ups. The blimp pepper allows you to rise up for a short time since Yoshi is inflated like a balloon. The dash pepper is used for Yoshi to run up walls since he runs really fast when he eats this. The light berry is used for Yoshi to light up the matter so you can use it like a pathway. The rock mushroom is used for Mario to form into a rock and destroy everything in his way when you shake the Wii Remote. Everything else is pretty much the same as in the original game.
I found this game to be easier than the last one. This was not as challenging as the last. They still had the Purple coin Comet from the last game that I couldn't complete, but it was easier in this game even though they had Cosmic Clones which are copies of Mario that spawn repeatedly and follow his every move. This game was not as difficult as the last. The bosses were easier, the stars were easier to find. It was a bit challenging trying to find all the green stars but I did it! This game is definitely easier than the last one.
After writing this review, I think I like Super Mario Galaxy 2 better. I just think it was a lot more fun and it was a really great game to play. I love this game. The graphics the sound, everything. I think it's better than the first.

The game play of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is basically the same as Mario Galaxy 1, but this time they added new game play elements to the series such as, riding Yoshi, the way Yoshi fits in to the galaxy series is amazing, you use his tongue to grab enemies, reach higher areas, and help you get pass some levels, later in the game this comes into play on some levels, like High Tail Falls Galaxy, where Yoshi must eat dash peppers to run up walls and later run on water, which is kinda clever, there are also two other berries that change Yoshi, such as the Blimp Fruit, as its name suggest it inflates Yoshi into a balloon, but be careful it can run out,I find this power up similar to P balloons from Super Mario world as it works similar but with Mario. The Last Yoshi power up
is the bulb berry, the bulb berry is a berry that when Yoshi eats he lets out a light showing invisible pathways. For Mario on the other hand he basically has the same power ups from Galaxy 1, except he has 2 new ones, the cloud flower which turns Mario into a jester looking suit and he can summon clouds when you shake the wiimote, but you can only use the power up times before the clouds that follow you disappear, they will reappear when you pick up a new flower. The second new power up is the rock shroom, it turns Mario's clothing to a rockish look, and when you shake the wiimote Mario will start to roll similar to being a goron in Zelda Majoras mask
In Mario Galaxy 2 there are so many great levels, my favorite though has to be Throw Back Galaxy, because the level is a exact recreation of whomps fortress from Super Mario 64, you even get to fight king whomp. The final thing I have to say about Galaxy 2 is that the boss fights are very different from galaxy 1, because in each world the order of who you fight changes, one world it will be Bowser and one world it will be Bowser Jr.

Ok let's be real for a second, Super Mario Galaxy 1 was masterpiece and making a sequel was no easy task but I believe Nintendo did it and did it well
