Pooh and Tigger Hunny Safari review   juuldude
Hello Vizzed visitors, here is my third review about another Winnie the Pooh game I enjoyed!
Pooh and Tigger Hunny Safari is a little platformer which I have played a few times. You have to collect honey every level and give it to Eeyore. There are five worlds where you collect honey throughout the Hundred Acre Woods and sometimes you need to find some friends so you can play minigames. At the end of each world you will have to defend your honey against bees. It might be a bit on the short side but that's the game too so I hope that you will have good advice to make my next review longer. Because it has been a while since I made my last review and because it's the TdV I'm running out of options here it is!
WARNING: THIS WALKTHROUGH IS NOT SPOILER FREE
The graphics of this game are very good. The title screen and the levels have clear graphics, simple but good backgrounds and you can recognize characters and animals easily. Fire, thorns and spikes are also recognizable. I rate this an 8 though since for some reason the colours change a little bit if you talk with Eeyore at the end of a level but you haven't collected all your honey yet and the minigames don't have good graphics sometimes in my opinion.
Music in this game is just good. Cheerful toons, little sounds and they even have a crappy voice of Tigger which you hear when he hurts himself but you can recognize it. There are also some more dangerous musics but most musics fit good with their surroundings and the well known theme sounds good too so I gave it a 10!
How addicting is this game? Somewhat addicting, I've played it a few times as it's a good time killer but it's not that interesting. The game is relatively short, lacks of a good story and there isn't much to do so you'll be bored quickly, so I rate this a 5. I played this I think 2-3 times but you can easily start on this game which makes it easier to play though.
Maybe this comes as a shock but I rated the story a 6. It's not incredible, you will collect honey for a party and that's it, but it is a classic Pooh story, the bear and Tigger have to work together and of course it's honey as Winnie the Pooh loves honey. Everybody is happy afterwards as there is one of the biggest, best parties ever and it is just a happy end.
Unlike most other things the depth is awful. I rated it a 1. There are 13 levels in total, 10 where you look for honey and 3 where you have to look for friends. When you have found those friends you can play minigames in the menu, one is memory with Rabbit his veggies, in one you have to control Piglet as he's stuck on a chair in a streaming river and one where you can play a minigame with a friend (on the same gameboy color though). There isn't anything else to do and if you have the time you can completely finish this game in 1-2 hours, which is incredibly short compared to most games.
Last but not least, the difficulty is rated a 3. It's a game for little kids so this was to be expected, the levels are fairly simple, there's even some kind of 'star' which is an acorn in this game and if you don't rush you can easily finish the levels. One of the minigames is a bit tough as the graphics aren't very good and the speed is difficult but the other two minigames are very easy.
Well, that's it for this review. Like I said, it's on the short side so I appreciate advice. I hope you enjoyed reading my review, I think my next review won't be about a Winnie the Pooh game as it's getting repetitive.

I saw the title and my first impression was "Pooh's Trigger Happy Safari"... then I read it more carefully and lost interest.
