I was against Minecraft for so long. I never played it, and called everyone that played it a nerd. One day, my friend got me to try it. I kind of enjoyed it, so I bought it on my Crapbox 360. I liked it somewhat, though it was not my favorite. I did play a lot, mainly online with my friends. Graphics (7): It is hard to rate the graphics in a game like Minecraft, because they are purposely crappy. They look really bad, everything is pixelated and square, but that is the style of the game. I decided to rate it a 7 because I am not a fan of the graphics at all, but they do fit in with the theme of the game very very well. I wish that they made it look a little better. I understand that the graphics are supposed to look bad, but they are too bad in my opinion. Everything lacks detail and is very square and pixely. Sound (7): The music in Minecraft annoys me. I don't know why, it just does. It is too peaceful for me, I guess. I don't really think it fits the game very well. The sound effects, on the other hand, fit the game perfectly. They don't sound the best, but they are perfect for the style of the game. They still feel "retro", but they are a little better quality than the graphics are. I love the sound it makes when you are digging up dirt, or the clanging sound it makes when your tool breaks. I rated the sound a 7 because while the music annoys me, I think that the sound effects are pretty good. Addictiveness (8): I was somewhat addicted to this game I guess. I didn't play it non-stop, but I did spend quite a bit of time playing it. It was always more of a casual thing to me, not exactly what I would call addictive. It does get a lot of people hooked though, I know that. It does have a lot of addictive qualities in it, but it is also lacking a little bit. For me, it is the fun aspect that is missing. I do not find the game to be as fun as other games, which is why I was not as addicted to it as some of my friends were. How likely am I to play this game again? Not very likely. I might play it once or twice, but I doubt I will ever get into it again. Story (N/A): Many Minecraft enthusiasts will argue that there is a story in Minecraft, but there really isn't. The only thing that you might consider a story is that there is technically and end to it when you beat the Ender Dragon. A lot of people argue that the story is that you survive for as long as you can, while stocking up on items and weapons, and then go on a quest to beat the ender dragon, but I do not consider that a story. Depth (10): This game is literally endless. Ok, technically it isn't, but from a logical view it is. You have tons of area to do pretty much whatever you want. Since there is no end (except defeating the Ender Dragon I guess), the depth is (pretty much) unlimited. There is so much that you can do. You can build a house, fight hostile mobs, try to befriend animals, make a farm, mine for precious metals and jewels, etc. There is so much to do in Minecraft, it is almost impossible to do it all. This game has more depth than any other game that I have ever played, which is why I gave it a perfect 10 out of 10 in the depth category. Difficulty (5): I wouldn't exactly say that Minecraft is difficult. There are different difficulties that you can play on, but they are all relatively easy. Once you have a house built and a few basic supplies, it is pretty easy to survive. It is hard to rate the difficulty in a game like Minecraft because there are no rules, no set things that you have to do, and no path that you have to follow. You can do whatever you want, making the difficulty vary depending on which activities you chose to do. I decided to rate the difficulty as neutral as I can, so I gave it a 5. That seemed most fair to me. In short, Minecraft is a somewhat fun game to play. The graphics and sound are awful, but they are purposely made that way. The fit the theme of the game perfectly. It is a somewhat addictive game, you may get hooked or you may not. There is no story, it is just about surviving. The depth is pretty much endless, there is so much that you can do. It is not exactly a hard game, but it is hard to rate the difficulty because there is no set path. I think it is a pretty cool game, but I don't think it is worth the $20. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Review- by Discord Release Date- 2013 System- Xbox 360 Developer- Mojang AB Publisher- Minecraft Studios Players- 1-4 Overall- 10 So...i know that some people here play minecraft and play it on the xbox 360. (or just play it on a PC.). But anyway...minecraft: Xbox360 edition...is the best game i played on the xbox 360...but thats my opinion though. I first played this game like a month ago..because i thought minecraft wasnt a good game at all. (becuase of how it looked)..but i was wrong. It was much better...and maybe i should never judge a book by its cover. (or minecraft). So i hope you have fun playing minecraft. Two modes you should know Well..there are two modes you should know. Creative and Surivial. So lets talk about creative first. So in creative mode..its basically you create what you want to....with no limits. You will have all the materials you need in your inventory. Also you dont have no health or food bar in this mode..so dont worry about food or your health...just build what you want. Now lets talk about survival.....So here you got to survive..and you got to get your own materials and food. So..you should know that the first day in survival..means everything. You have to build your shelter....and to do that you need wood from trees. And you need food from animals...Also you need weapons so you could collect some material...faster...and easier. You need to do this before night fall or you will be attacked by monsters...(unless you put peaceful as your difficulty). So thats all i got to say for now. Graphics- 9 Well..the graphics in this game is great. Even though everything is made out of blocks..the graphics will also be great. And to tell you the truth...i didnt like minecraft because of how it looked.....and when i first played minecraft..it looked better than i expected. So i always been playing minecraft ever since...witbout a problem. (sometimes this game has some weird glitches...and dont worry they wont mess up your game or anything..some of them are actually funny). So i dont have much to say anymore about the graphics..so lets go to the sounds. Sounds- 9 Alright..the sounds are good..and i really like the sounds...(sone sound weird at times and some are funny..and the sounds usualyy come from the animals or monsters). So its good to know what sounds monsters and animals make so you know whats near you..and you defend yourself....Or run away. So lets talk about the music. Well..you should know the music changes when it beoms night or day. But there is an item called the jukebox...all you need is a disc and you could listen to music...(i mean the disc in the game and you need to find them and trsut me...its not easy at all to find them)...So thats all. Addictiveness- 9 Minecraft is very addictive. I could play this game all day if i have to. But i cant..becuase for me thats impossible. But i do spend a few hours playing minecraft each day and its never gets boring. Thats if you dont know what to do...and you might get bored at times. So there are other reasons why thisvgame is addictive. The worlds you create are never the same.....there always differenta and you will notice that..when you keep making new worlds. Story- 7 Well...there is a way this game ends but its actually not easy to end the story...unless you know what to do..and its easier to beat the game in creative. So mostly this is about building and surviving and if you want..you could play around. and destroy things . I do that some times for the fun. So i dont have much to say about the story and i know how it ends..but its best if you find out yourself. Depth- 9 Minecraft...offers a lot. Like i mentioned before..you could build what you want..where ever you like. In a jungle, forest and mountains..also deserts. Some of those places arent great to build in survival mode...unless your really great in minecraft..and know what to do. But i choose to build where ther are trees...Anyway...you could play with your friends offline or online if you want...and i think thats makes the game better. You could fight each other or work together..to build. And thats what i mostly do everytime. Difficulty- 9 This game is hard to play...if you dont know what to do. Thats why you should also learn what to do...even though you die. Its best to keep trying and figure out what out what to do. Also the best place to go for help is the tutorial......so you know how to mine blocks and even learn how to make other materials which you will need eventually..so it could help you..But its easy if your a pro or had experience playing minecraft before. Ah the game of Minecraft. The game that's all about having a good time. When I 1st played Minecraft it was on the Xbox360. I was a noob then so instead of holding the trigger I acted like it was a mob . Minecraft can be hard sometimes like when you find diamonds and then die from lava . Minecraft is almost as famous as Mario.When I didn't know what it was I watched you tube and I was like "What's with all these video's about this thing called Minecraft???". What I like best about minecraft is the servers. There almost always fun Cause you get to play w/ you friends. This game is overall very fun with some new characters that people are starting to realize in the real world. Also, it's storyline has almost endless possibilities. You can build, fight, or even install mods. The mods in this game can change the whole game for good. The game never actually seems to 'end'. Even when you beat the final boss, you can still battle it again as well as continue to create the most awesome building/store/village you can think of. Another fun attribute of this game is the modes. In Vanilla (Regular) MineCraft, you can go into one of three modes: Creative which has flying and unlimited resources, Survival which you have to find your own resources and craft and smelt your own tools, and Hardcore, which allows you to only have one life in the world.

I think that Minecraft was good when it was solely for PC, but since it has been adapted I think it needs to be improved. I downloaded the trial and was disappointed. I thought that since it had been put on to one of the two major consoles the graphics would be improved and it would be made easier to use. I'm afraid that this was not the case. I am probably being a bit harsh as it is still a very good game but I expected more from the adaptation. It is good but I don't think it will ever be hugely successful.Serviver905
