Story 7 out of 10: So….its a sequel of CTR (Crash Team Racing) the story is a bit different on this game. This time around the bandicoots house will be teleported to an unknown planet. There, they will meet new challenge to race and the leader who is called *Emperor Velo XXVII,* He explains why he has brought them to his planet. Not only that it’s a team race so you will have two choices of what team you want to be. Team bandicoot or either team cortex, so choose your team and your adventure aka story mode will start. I kind of didn’t like how they portrayed the story in a way, as so many things got changed. But in a way the story is still great.
Graphics 7 out of 10: This graphics is good lots of bright and dark colours and also the characters look different a bit. I have to say….team bandicoot rocks with the appearance wise. The way the creators made them its cool and I commend them on that. That’s the only thing that I loved character wise. Sad to say the rest of the characters don’t look as cool, as the main characters in the game. There’s a lot of interesting things to see in CNK. In the gameplay it looks weird when you are racing how? Because they added some weird effect to it.
Sound 8 out of 10: Has great music and all, nice upbeat and very lively to hear and more. You would not get bored of it. I like the menu music more, that brings the feeling of lets start this racing game! And would get you excited to play. And some other music’s they play, they are also good to listen too.
Addictiveness 7 out of 10: Its addicting in some parts, for me would be the story mode. And there are other parts that are not so addicting so much.
Depth 6 out of 10: Well this game is a sequel to CTR. In my opinion I didn’t like how they made it. The previous characters in CTR has their personality changed. And I got so annoyed by this I won’t spoil it for you on what happened. That is for you to find out. And also the way that they changed the boosting it sucks, it sucks big time I say! They altered it so it can be *easier* to boost. In my option of that it was wrong of them too. They should have just stayed with the original from CTR. If you play any racing games, you would know when sliding, you boost then work to control it. So like in CTR you can unlock other characters and levels as well.
Difficulty 6 out of 10: It’s a standard level to play on. So as you play more story mode wise, it will get hard for you to play. For me, I just stop at a certain point in adventure mode, because I just lose interest of even going on with it.
Overall 8.7: It’s a good game to play but, that will be up to you to decide. That’s once you try it out for yourself. For me it’s a sequel game that’s just gone bad. It was meant to top CTR and this sequel didn’t so it’s like bleh at times.
