Chrono Trigger is a game released in 1995 by the famed company Squaresoft (now Square-Enix), an organization of highly creative and intelligent individuals. It was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System on March 11, 1995 in Japan, and September 27, 1995 in North America. The game revolves around a group of youngsters that are drawn into a thick plot full of evil beings, time travel, alternate dimensions, and a ruined future that pits them against horrible beasts, and puts them in the driver’s seat to save the world. Through their journeys they learn the joy of friendship, the power of true love, the pain of seeing those they love torn from them, and above all, the strength they have within them to battle the darkness. It’s a story that can only be told by the team of Chrono Trigger, and that’s why it has lived on in its players’ hearts for so long.
